My husband was admitted to Kingsley Court following five months treatment in the acute mental health unit at Hillingdon hospital. This has been a traumatic time for both my husband and myself. the staff at Kingsley Court have been very understanding, helpful and supportive to both myself and my husband.
The accommodation is all we could wish for. My husband's room and en-suite are roomy, bright, warm and comfortable. The staff are always so understanding and although I am not sure how my husband truly feels I know he is safe and being well cared for. the food is varied and very suitable for the residence, also offering a choice fo all meal times.

The home is very good and most of the staff are very helpful but as for the hygiene and cleanliness is not as it should be.

The biggest professional challenge in her current role, is working with advanced dementia residents and understanding their challenging individual needs.


Her biggest career highlight to date was being nominated for dignity champion finalist, employee of the year (twice), IIP – Gold, Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Performance and Dedication – IIP – Gold, CQC inspection – 2018 (dementia unit), Hillingdon Social Services (wall art on dementia unit) and Certificate of Achievement 2018.


Qualities which make Martha stand out are her good people skills and management, good communication, treat people with equality and approachable and understanding


Outside of work she enjoys socialising with friends and family, reading, watching films and documentaries, history, arts and crafts and travelling.


Martha enjoys a good and peaceful working day. She feels content knowing that she has made a difference in a resident’s day and knowing her efforts have been successful and rewarding.
