Mum was under the care of Kingsley Court Care Home after a hospital stay. They cared for Mum very well and we always felt she was looked after. The manager and her team were always very friendly and accommodating when family and friends visited. On her 80th birthday, she was made a fuss of, which she enjoyed! She arrived not being able to weight bare and is now able to walk with her stick. Thank you to the manager and the staff at Kingsley Court.

Mum, who is 101, is well looked after by Kingsley Court. Mum can be quite difficult to manage due to her age and medical condition, but all staff are very considerate in looking after mum's needs. We (the family) know mum is in safe hands.

My dad has been a resident since early 2020 and I really cannot fault the care, love and attention of all the staff that look after him. One day last month I received a call from a nurse on Rose Unit telling me my dad was not his usual self and discovered he had a urine infection. They immediately called a doctor and he was started on antibiotics and they kept me informed. I was really worried about him but reassured he was in excellent care. The following day he took a turn for the worse and he was admitted to hospital with urosepsis. He was an inpatient for just over a week, he responded to intravenous fluids and antibiotics, made a full recovery and returned to Kingsley Court. I am so grateful to the nursing staff for their early identification of the infection and intervention of medical support. Because of their vigilance and knowing my dad so well, despite his dementia, they literally saved him. My dad is blessed in is such a wonderful facility where they treat him like family.

All of the staff at Kingsley Court are patient, professional and treat my mother with kindness and respect, she is very happy, she has been living at Kingsley Court for almost two years.
The caring staff treat her like their mum and I can wholeheartedly recommend this home.

Safety, security and cleanliness are all excellent, Jubilee celebrations lasted for two days and many other celebrations and activities happen throughout the year. I speak with the manager regularly, she is lovely and Kingsley Court communicates with me on all important matters.

The team at Kingsley Court are simply amazing. The manager keeps us up to date with good communication. She has the resident's best interests at heart and went, and still is going, above and beyond to keep all safe. The team helped us feel part of the family. They are just the best and I can't thank them enough for everything they are doing to care for Mum.

Our mother has been in Kingsley Court for just after 2 years. From the first day of her admission everyone at Kingsley Court management, administration staff, nurses, carers, and all the support staff have cared and looked after our mother so very well - thank you.

During the pandemic and the frequent lockdowns, Kingsley Court has maintained the correct protocols to ensure the health and safety for both residents and staff is top priority.

My mum has been in Kingsley Court for nearly 2 years now with dementia. During this extremely difficult time, Mum has received excellent care. Due to COVID we have been very limited on visits. However, we have been able to have many video calls and even a party in the garden for her 90th Birthday. I could not have asked for more in this difficult time from a very caring manager and her excellent team.

My wife has been a resident since January 2021 and has been excellently well cared for throughout the 12 months. My husband has been a resident at Kingsley Court for over two years. The manager and her amazing staff are wonderful, so caring, and supportive. This month has been especially challenging as his health has declined and the palliative care that he is receiving is the best. He has always been treated with dignity and compassion and my family will be forever grateful.

My mother's 98th birthday was on 7/6/2021. The manager and staff went well beyond their remit to do her a party. Everyone from the staff to the residents joined in and enjoyed themselves. Sadly mother went into hospital on 22/6/2021 and died on 24/6/2021. I thank all the staff for their condolences.

My uncle went into Kingsley Court from May 2020 until he took his last breath in April 2021. The staffing care and support he received was excellent and he made lovely relationships with the staff that worked there. Even though unfortunately we were in covid restrictions and unable to see him, at all in the first stages, the care staff kept in regular contact with us and also ensured we were able to have zoom video calls with him. During my uncle’s last days they ensured we were able to spend time with him (all covid secure practices were in place). The staff ensured his dignity throughout and the family are thoroughly grateful for the care provided. Thank you so much.

Reply from Shiny Mathappan, Manager at Kingsley Court

Thank you for your positive and heartfelt review. We are pleased that you felt our whole team looked after your late uncle with understanding, compassion, and cheerfulness. He is much missed at the home and we are, of course, all very sorry for your loss. The Kingsley Team would like to wish you and your family the very best for the future.
