I visit my mum at least twice a week, and every visit is a pleasant experience and confirms my belief that all the staff caring for Mum (including other staff and management) have the care of the residents uppermost in their minds. I am comforted by the staff knowing my mum, which is clear to me when I speak to the carers, senior carers and others (including reception); they find time to get to know the residents. I can't praise them highly enough. I know Mum is cared for and safe in their hands.

My mum is very well looked after. The staff are wonderful.

First of all walking in you could tell you were entering a first-class place. I was sat with my mam at the main window watching the world go by, by then it was dinner time, all set out and all ready. The staff (all) were brilliant, attentive and engaging and it says a lot that she didn't want to leave, she loved it that much. Without a doubt, next respite she will be returning if you'll have her! Thanks to all the staff involved, you're all stars. Thank you.

My wife and I have been married for 59 years and I'm happy to leave my beloved wife in the care of Acacia Lodge Care Home.

My mother is 82 and suffering from dementia. The care home gives her a safe environment where she has company and activities, and her family can visit whenever they like - now we have come out of Covid restrictions. I feel totally less anxious about my mother now compared to when she was living at home on her own. The value for money is difficult because everything she owns goes to pay for the home's fees.

My dad has been in the care home for 12 months and took a while to settle but the very caring and friendly staff made the process easy. He enjoys the food and the social activities with the entertainers coming in.

Wonderful, high standard of care and compassion for our mum. Her health and well-being have improved immensely, since her discharge from hospital and moving into Acacia Lodge. This was a very worrying time for all the family, but the staff and management have treated our mum with dignity and so much love! Mum has her down days, being a dementia sufferer, but we can't thank the staff enough for their caring attitude on those days. She is in her happy place with Acacia's regular, fantastic entertainment programme - always the first up for a dance! Her room and bathroom are always very clean and tidy and no issues with laundry. Lovely gardens to enjoy sunny days. Highly recommend Acacia Lodge, one big family!

The administrator/receptionist could not have been more helpful in helping to navigate me through from my initial enquiry to the eventual admittance of my mum. The assistant manager carefully assessed all of her individual needs and left me feeling totally reassured that my mum was in a safe and caring environment. I have found all of the staff to be responsive and professional. The activities are well planned and executed, especially day trips out. Well done Acacia, keep up the good work.

The home is clean and comfortable. The staff provide excellent care for my mother-in-law. The food is good. Varied activities are offered by the home each day, keeping my mother-in-law stimulated and allowing her to interact with other residents.

We're pleased with the care our relatives have received especially during the trying time of covid restrictions. Can't wait until the testing for the double-jabbed visitor is ended!

Have been very pleased with the service provided by all the Acacia staff. Have found them to be very friendly, caring, professional when looking after my father, as well as being very respectful. I sing their praises all the time. The manager and her team do an excellent job of running the care home. Cannot thank them enough. My father would not be here without their support.

I have always found the home and care given the utmost consideration. The environment is most pleasant, and the staff friendly and helpful. The care of the surroundings eg garden is of a high standard.

My father has been at Acacia Lodge for over 6 years. Within the 6 years, he has been cared for, loved, and kept safe by both the management team and all of the various teams of staff who work at Acacia. Whether the teams are the carers, activities, housekeeping and laundry, administration, maintenance, and of course the second to none restaurant-quality food and service team who are all supported by the excellent management structure, helps to make why Acacia Lodge remains to be the best care provider and care home within the area. The whole world is currently suffering due to the pandemic but Acacia Lodge has kept my Dad safe and well throughout these trying times.

When visiting my Aunty, the staff are very helpful and friendly and will deal with any questions in a professional way.
