It was such a relief for my cousin and my family to know that a secure, safe and homely place at Howe Dell Manor could now be called home. The attention afforded to our loved one is excellent and nothing seems to be too much trouble for the excellent staff there. The residents are treated with care, patience and dignity and staff work very hard to encourage and bolster communication pathways with all the residents.. No matter what levels of engagement residents are at the staff are monitoring and constantly invested to improve their daily lives. Residents have the freedom to take part in activities or be quiet if they choose and there is plenty of space for them to do that. Being able to visit virtually anytime is a plus and makes visits much less stressful. Access to medical staff onsite has proved invaluable too, again alleviating health worries for our cousin. The future looks bright and also settled now and we can now look to the future with new hope.

Howdell Manor has completly been the right placement for the residient that I am POA for after much Support in her own home and after various sections nothing was working.
Then a Placement at Howdell Manor was offered where the Staff have got to know the residient well and take care of her 24 hours a day with regular 15 minuet checks and encouragements to eat, drink and offer activities and be independent despite the continueous push back from the resident.
Staff continue to be patient and supportive to the resideint and to the family and friends of the residient.
Management are meticulious on following through all emails and correspondance and the keywork system works well for all hospital, doctors and dentist appointments are attended by Staff with the resident.
The building itself is a old building and in need of some refurbishments but the rooms are spacious for residients family and friends to be able to set up a home from home environment for the resident.
