Greenways Court Care Home

I'm quite happy with my care. I think the staff are very kind and take care of all the residents well. The home on the whole is very lovely and safe. Well done, keep it up.

I like it here, it's a home. The staff treat me like family, always feel safe here.

I have addressed my review with the care home directly. The management need to remember that this was seen as my mother's last home and not just a business or hotel. It is great that they won all their awards but this has overshadowed the care that my mother received.

Nothing is too much trouble.

I have been a resident at Greenways Court Care Home since 02/05/2023. I have been looked after very well as if I was one of the family. The home is kept in spotless condition by the very good staff. All meals and snacks are tasty and filling. The staff are all very helpful and caring for the clients, nothing is too much trouble. I have always felt safe and secure with the staff. There is always some activity going on, from quizzes to bingo. The rooms are all a good size and are comfortable. The management are hands-on and approachable so problems are nipped in the bud.

Lovely care home.

Greenways Court Care Home has made a huge difference to our dad's life. He is like a new man! Sits outside in the sun, takes part in activities and goes on day trips out. The girls are all great too! Our dad was not mentally ready for a home but was physically. Thanks everyone for helping take some load off our worries.

Attentive and caring staff. Always willing to talk about the resident and any concerns with regard to the resident's health. Doing an amazing job.

Amazing care was provided by all staff.

After moving to Greenways Court Care Home just over two years ago, of course, I wasn't so well at the time and it was daunting for me, moving my home in York, but I have family at home. I must say, I was surprised myself how I was made welcome by all the staff and soon settled down in my new home.

My mam has not been here at Greenways Court very long, 5 weeks and it was a hard decision to make for Mam, but I have felt very supported from all staff, they have rang me and involved me in all of the decisions regarding Mam. My mam is poorly at present but is treated with respect and dignity at all times and anything I suggest, staff are willing to try to make Mam comfortable.

My mam has just moved in and all the staff have been outstanding. The staff are extremely professional, kind, caring and have helped my mam settle in. My mam also speaks very highly of the care team. Management were so helpful and understanding in helping get my mam here. Greenways Court is absolutely amazing! It is like walking into a five-star hotel. It is so clean and modern. I can't speak highly enough of the building and all the staff.

Perfect second home.

I have found the staff at Greenways Court Care Home to be kind and supportive of my mother-in-law and me. They extend their care role beyond their residents to family members and have treated me and my father-in-law with the same kindness and care they show their residents every day.

Very poor care home. I would never let another of my family enter this home. They do not have the time to look after everyone in a respectable way, if they have dementia and they say no to anything then they do nothing. You should keep trying to persuade the person until you get the result that helps them.

From my first enquiry to my mam moving into Greenways Court Care Home, the management team and staff were extremely helpful and supportive, making it a very stress-free move for my mam, as well as our family. My mam has settled in very well thanks to the kind, caring staff here at Greenways, the manager expects a very high standard of care which shows in how the staff team care for the residents.

All staff are very nice and helpful. The manager is very professional and approachable. My mind is at ease, and I know she is very well cared for.

Greenways Court Care Home is exceptional. Both the care staff and the management team are professional and deal with any issues with empathy, compassion and timeous. When you walk into the home it is always clean, tidy and homely. The domestic staff are always vigilant to the residents' needs and the best thing is my father-in-law is always clean, fresh and wearing his own clothes.

My mother, although totally immobile (arthritis), has all of her needs and general care sensitively and efficiently dealt with. She can be difficult but all carers show real sympathy and good humour. I'm glad my mum will spend the rest of her days in such an atmosphere.
