I am extremely satisfied with the overall standard and care and attention my mum has received in Greenways Court. The staff go beyond what is normally given to all service users. Many thanks to all. Keep up the good work.

We feel the manager and staff have and do go the extra mile to support our failing loved one. They supported her/us to ensure her return from hospital was enabled sooner rather than delayed and safeguard her needs - which were well met on her return. Similarly, as her condition has deteriorated, staff
ensure she enjoys her long morning in bed and is well catered for in terms of nutrition and general needs.
We feel that she is in safe hands and that contact is reliable when needed. Our relative is comfortable and feels loved by staff.

Greenways is a very pleasant and caring place. The staff are very helpful and caring. It has a lovely atmosphere and my sister is well cared for and quite content here. When I can't manage to look after myself I would like to think I could live here.

My mam spent the last years of her life at Greenways Court. The service and standard of care was excellent. I was always welcomed by the staff. The best complement I can give is to say this would be the home I would choose for myself. Thank you to all the staff.

My aunty has just been in greenways court for a couple of days and first impressions are very positive. Very friendly staff, lovely clean environment. Nothing is a bother to any member of staff. Aunty is delighted to be at Greenways Court.

Dad was resident here since January 17 until he passed in July 18.
I found the staff are extremely helpfully and focused on residents care and wellbeing.
The home is kept spotlessly clean.
Good food and seems to be plenty.
Management and administrator are 1st class and very helpfully.
Rooms are
well set out and kept spotless.
During Dads last few weeks the staff were extremely empathetic and care was exceptional.
In summary, I find this home to be first class with stars.
I would not hesitate to live here myself when I get older.

This is a lovely residential home. All the staff are very friendly and helpful to clients and their families. Nothing is a bother to them and answer all our questions. My mother-in-law is the happiest we have seen her in years and very well looked after.

I visit a family member who is a resident in a weekly basis and cannot help but be impressed by the standard of living and care given. it is 5-star accommodation with 5-star care where people are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. You cannot find this level of care anywhere.

In my opinion, Greenways Court is more like a hotel. The staff are all fantastic. The lady in charge does a marvellous job. The receptionist, you couldn't get anyone better.

The staff, from manager to all staff have treated us with great consideration and dignity at all times when needed. They go beyond their duty. My aunt has limited speech and all staff have to take time to understand her. The staff are always seeing to someone's needs. They seem to have great understanding
and rapport and a smile it is a great comfort to know she is well looked after all the time, which is no easy task. The food is always excellent and if she does not eat, they try something else with care. Their support is excellent.

My sister-in-law entered this home with her husband two years ago. Her husband, unfortunately, died shortly after moving into Greenways Court.
We were concerned about whether my sister-in-law would settle. We soon had our minds made up that we need not worry which is a big relief for us.
My sister-in-law
has settled there and this is due to the kindness and quality of care given by all of the staff. Over time, we have met all kinds of staff in the home and cannot fault any of them. They have all been excellent in their kindness shown and quality of care given. I consider that all staff have been well trained and have had excellent management. Everyone at Greenways Court are excellent representatives of the organisation and I am sure are excellent assets of the company.

My mother in law has lived with us since 2011 when she became too isolated in Newcastle.
I built her a cottage on the farm, she has lived well but became ill with Dementia.
We took our time to review care homes, picking Greenways, which has proved to be a fantastic choice.
My mother in law is well
looked after but most importantly she is happy.

What does ‘kindness’ mean to you?


“Kind care, for me, is person-centred care. It is all about the individual and their needs.”


Kinga has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people during her 8 years in care work. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and quality of life for Residents.


Having started as Home Manager at Greenways Court in October 2020, Kinga was the perfect candidate as she closely shares HC-One’s vision aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident and has been a deputy Manager at HC-One for 3 years.


Kinga also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Greenways Court.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Kinga remarked:


“Spending time with Residents and listening to their life stories. Talking about photographs and memories Residents have in their rooms.”


“I enjoy supporting and developing my staff in any areas they wish to expand their knowledge, seeing the positive outcome of it makes me really happy.”


Outside of work, Kinga enjoys many activities and hobbies, especially spending time with her family and travelling.
