My mother in law has lived with us since 2011 when she became too isolated in Newcastle.
I built her a cottage on the farm, she has lived well but became ill with Dementia.
We took our time to review care homes, picking Greenways, which has proved to be a fantastic choice.
My mother in law is well
looked after but most importantly she is happy.

From our first visit in August 2017 followed by a home assessment of my mother, we have been so grateful for the sympathetic, professional, personal treatment not only to my mother who is now a resident but also the whole family who are affected by mum's condition and care.
The staff make this establishment
a 'home', a place where you are treated as an individual and your needs are catered for.
I am so grateful that we are so lucky to have such a well run place of safety for Mum so close.
I would recommend any family to visit and see what a home really looks like.

My mother has recently moved into Greenways Court. The management and staff made the whole process and experience stress-free at such a different time.

My mother has now been a resident at Greenways Court since April 2015. Throughout this time both herself and our family have always been extremely happy with the exceptionally high standard of care she receives on a daily basis.
The premises are well looked after her room is clean and homely. The food
is good.
The staff who care for her on a daily basis are exceptionally good.
They know her well and have a friendly, caring relationship with her.
She is very content to live here.

The care my mother has received at Greenways Court has surpassed all of our expectations. Very friendly staff, who keep us informed of my mother's well being. Her bedroom is clean, light and airy due to the very large windows.


It is certainly one of the best, if not the best care home in the area.

We feel so lucky and relieved that my mother is receiving such excellent care from the management and carers and not forgetting behind the scene staff, catering, cleaning and the very friendly receptionist.

A very high-quality provider whose level of care for my mother-in-law has been very good. When there have been minor issues they have been resolved quickly and effectively. What does ‘kindness’ mean to you?


“Kind care, for me, is person-centred care. It is all about the individual and their needs.”


Kinga has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people during her 8 years in care work. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and quality of life for Residents.


Having started as Home Manager at Greenways Court in October 2020, Kinga was the perfect candidate as she closely shares HC-One’s vision aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident and has been a deputy Manager at HC-One for 3 years.


Kinga also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Greenways Court.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Kinga remarked:


“Spending time with Residents and listening to their life stories. Talking about photographs and memories Residents have in their rooms.”


“I enjoy supporting and developing my staff in any areas they wish to expand their knowledge, seeing the positive outcome of it makes me really happy.”


Outside of work, Kinga enjoys many activities and hobbies, especially spending time with her family and travelling.
