Most residents seem happy & settled.
A lack of staff is evidenced post lunch when requests for toileting are made.

For the comfort of residents & staff, a serious overhaul of air conditioning in the building needs addressing. Conditions during the recent heatwaves have been unbearable for all.

My Dad has only been at Tunbridge Wells Care Centre for a few weeks after a bad experience elsewhere. Everyone is very friendly and kind, and all the staff made us both feel very welcome from the outset. In the few weeks he has been here he has received excellent care, his appetite has returned and his health and general wellbeing have improved. He loves the garden, and he is beginning to settle and actively engage with life here. Thank you

Thank you for such a lovely review, our chef does make delicious meals and our garden is a wonderful space to relax. The care staff ensure they get to know each resident individually and plan care in a person centred way.

My Mum is very happy and settled in the Tunbridge Wells care Centre. She is very well cared for by all of the staff. She is treated with kindness and respect. The staff are all professional as well as being engaging.
The daily activities are always fun and inclusive.
She enjoys her food, with different daily menu choices.
She also enjoys her daily afternoon tea and cake. Also excellent cakes are baked by the chef for all residents birthdays!

There is also a well kept garden where residents can spend time together and with their relatives.

From the moment we looked around until my mother left after 6 weeks respite we were always greeted by friendly , kind , dedicated staff. I was so relieved to find they had a room available at very short notice and Mum was made to feel so welcome. She enjoyed the food , especially the big breakfasts and joined in with all the daily activities. The nursing team on Knightsbridge floor were outstanding and we have nothing but praise for them all. Mum recovered so well in their care that she has now returned home but if the time came she would be happy to return.

There is not a single negative comment I can say about Tunbridge Wells Care Centre. Everything about the place is first class. The staff, the rooms, the food, the atmosphere. All out of this world. My mother was a residents for 3 months until her recent passing and the care and dignity provided by the nurses and carers was incredible. They made visiting mum a real comfort, seeing how they treated her. If there was a level above 'excellent', I would have selected that for everything. Plain and simply, TWCC is fantastic.

Lovely friendly staff from the lady emptying the bin to the care home manager.
It is wonderful to be able to take the dog in, it was so clean too.
Mavis was well looked after and it was good to see them tailoring food to her needs. They were expedient when she needed help getting to the toilet and you could see that they cared about her dignity.

The vast majority of the residents were up and in the communal areas when we last visited and they all appeared content and looked after.

My wife was admitted to the care centre for end of life care, from hospital. Sadly she was only here for 5 days, but in that short time the care compassion and will to make her as comfortable as possible was excellent nothing was to much trouble. The way I was treated was beyond my expectations and was wonderful. I cannot express my gratitude to all the staff enough in making my experience with them as stress free as possible at a very difficult time.

I never wanted my dad to go into a home and felt unsure what to expect after many horror stories in the industry.
However, the team in particularly on the Dementia floor were just fantastic. My dad was so well looked after with kindness and understanding of his illness. They also looked after mum and I and made us feel like it was our 2nd home .
The carers and the nursing team are worth their weight in gold here .
My dad was everything to me , rest assured I couldn't

have asked for any better in a care home . Thankyou to all of you !

When my husband was first sent to Tunbridge Wells Care Centre from hospital I was very upset, and would have preferred somewhere closer to home. However due to the really good care and improvement in his health, care, and contentment I no longer have any concerns. He is being exceptionally well looked after, is putting on weight, and is happy.
