I have been very happy with the day to day and nursing care provided to my mother and the care/nursing staff who have been delightful and helpful. I am very happy that a new home manager is in place because the administration and staff turnover has been a concern. Overall I am very happy with the care

Mum has been in Midland care home for almost five weeks, and we have noticed a huge difference in her. She settled quickly and is enjoying the care and attention she receives. She is eating well and looks so much better. She is able to remember things and communicates with more clarity and confidence.
She talks about the carers and how lovely they all are. We looked at several homes before moving Mum, and this was definitely the best choice. We are so pleased that Mum is happy, safe and well cared for and would have no problem recommending this home to others. Thank you to the manager and all the staff.

My grandmother didn't do well at this care home. Papers informed, MP informed, my grandmother will have justice and you will take responsibility. They advertise about working with people with dementia and yet this was not the case. Nasty place. CQC states the same although very recently changed. Avoid
this place. 3* food hygiene also, not much care for a care home. This of course is kept all hush hush their side!

The team provides good care with activities and outings for residents. Rooms are large and bright with all the things residents need for their personal belongings.
We are kept informed of things we need to know about by telephone and email so we never feel 'in the dark' about anything.
The staff we
have met and dealt with have all been open and honest which we appreciate very much.

I have only known this care home for a month, while I visited my sister, I found it very professional, extremely clean, staff extremely helpful and friendly and my sister loved the food and the staff. I have been impressed with Midland Care Home and as a retired care worker myself. I do know what is

Excellent Covid response for visitors - rules clear and carried out in a very friendly manner. All staff very friendly and approachable and very clean everywhere. My mum has settled in so quickly and we are very grateful.

I would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff at the care home, my aunty has been a resident at Midland Care Home for five and half years.
I must commend all the staff for their kindness and fantastic care given to my Aunty, she has been really looked after and even though this tough lockdown
period my aunty seems to look so happy and this shows in her wellbeing. l think she is a great advert for this care home and all the staff, including nursing, clerical, housekeeping, everyone has been so wonderful. I cannot thank you all enough as you give me peace of mind that my aunty is in the best place and being looked after so well, thank you.

The ensuite bedroom is spacious and very clean. My mum finds the bed and chair very comfortable. There is good storage with a double wardrobe and two sets of drawers. The staff are excellent - the manager, reception staff, nurses, care staff, kitchen staff to name a few. Everyone really cares for my
mum. Nothing is too much trouble. Everyone is friendly, smiley, thoughtful and professional.

I had a relative who was supported here for a short period from a hospital discharge. I found the service clean, friendly and very person-centred care. I always felt that the staff understood his needs and ensured that he had the correct level of support to live meaningfully.

My brother was cared for by the team at Midland Care Home from 2018. In that time both he and I have always found the management and staff to be professional, caring, polite and attentive. They aim to ensure the needs of the residents (however varied they may be) are met. They have been extremely supportive
of me through a difficult period. I can not speak more highly of their genuine caring nature.

My mum has been at the Midland Care Home since it opened. She has been in this home for 10 years! Has seen lots of changes. She has always been looked after well and is happy. The activities team have been very good and have tried to cater for everyone’s needs. The new management team have been excellent
in sorting issues and improving the facilities. It’s nice and clean home. The staff are nice and caring. Kitchen staff are very good and have always worked with us as Mum is vegetarian. Would highly recommend the home for your loved ones.

My Dad came out of hospital and stayed here. Within two weeks we could see a great improvement to his health. He was eating again, smiling,k walking. The staff were all so lovely. Everybody was so helpful to my Dad and our family and we felt very welcome.
