Mum has been at Cherry Blossom since October 2023. Her experience from the get-go has been second to none. Within the first week, we could see a difference in her. They ensured that her needs were met and went above and beyond to ensure that she was well looked after and that the little things that
meant so much to her were done. She has always taken pride in her appearance and it was such a relief to see that the carer's had picked up on this. Within weeks her overall health but particularly her mental health, had improved considerably. It took her a little while to settle but each day the carers were patient with her and went very much at her pace. Now, she is a different woman, she takes part in the activities and has made some wonderful friends. All the carers are respectful, kind and helpful and we all feel that she is in very safe hands. Additionally, as a visitor we are always made to feel very welcome- whether you are 1 or 101 Cherry Blossom Care Home is a wonderful place to be.

Majority of care staff go above and beyond.
Individual rooms and furniture tired, need updating.
Outside areas are well maintained and presented.
Activities to include all residents preferably not just the same few.
No experience of management since relative entering
2 and a half years ago.

From day one, my mother has been excellently looked after by all members of staff. They are all very caring and are never in a rush to explain what needs to happen. My mother is always spoken to with respect and treated with dignity.

I submitted a review last year and I am pleased to say Dad continues to do very well thanks to the Cherry Blossom Care Team. I am regularly kept up to date about Dad's general well-being, our opinion is valued, and concerns are listened to and allayed particularly with regard to changes in treatment
and medication, with updates sent immediately should there be a more pressing issue. The team is great, always thinking about what is best for Dad and how to make his day more comfortable and enjoyable his safety and well are their first consideration, and all of this is of great importance as we live abroad and are not able to return to the UK as frequently as we would like. I have absolutely no concerns that Dad is happy and comfortable and receiving the best possible care, we are very grateful to all of the team for their time and dedication, Dad and I appreciate this immensely as I am sure to do all the residents and family members who have loved one at Cherry Blossom Manor.

My dad was at Cherry Blossom for a two-week respite and he loves it there. The staff was very friendly and loving, my dad didn’t even miss me for one day. He didn’t want to come back home. He said he will miss his friends ( the staff). Management were very helpful and responsive. I really want to thanks
to everyone who looked after my dad and gave him so much love and care.

My mother is a resident at Cherry Blossom, the staff are amazing! The care they provide is beyond and above, they keep me updated all the time.
I and my family know that she is safe and cared for in the most highest standard that we can ever imagine.

I have found all the staff at Barchester Cherry Blossom Manor an absolute delight. Always willing to help, listen and do their best to meet residents' and families' concerns, needs, wants and desires. Nothing is too much trouble and there is always time for a friendly chat. On Mum's 94th birthday last
week, everybody helped her celebrate and did everything possible to make her day extra special. The family joined Mum for lunch in the private dining room, where we enjoyed table service amongst birthday balloons, at the end of the meal the staff brought in a lovely birthday cake and all sang Happy Birthday. There is a real homely atmosphere here, only possible because everyone, no matter what their role, cares.

Barchester Cherry Blossom Manor Care Home provided respite care for my mum, after a stay in hospital, and we couldn’t have asked for more. From the very first contact, the team were understanding, patient, efficient and kind in a very difficult and emotional situation. They listened to what we needed
and provided a lovely room, excellent care and communicated well with us regarding her rehabilitation.
The staff were fantastic with Mum and took time to chat with her and they all were familiar with her situation and treated her with dignity. She settled in quickly and felt safe and looked after. The management team were very efficient and professional and helped me arrange additional transport services when a hospital visit was required.
There was a varied menu, laundry services and plenty of daily activities.
A friendly, well-run care home that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone, as well as knowing when we reach the time when full-time care is required that our mum will be in safe hands.

My mother arrived at Barchester Cherry Blossom Manor having been told by hospital that she would never get out of bed, would be doubly incontinent and not survive the year! She is now walking (with a frame) to the bathroom or lounge. She is more content than she has been for years. She does have some
problems but she's not aware and there is no need for her to know. The staff have been very good in giving her lots of encouragement.

My stay at Cherry Blossom Manor was for 2 months. The medical staff are excellent and qualified for the role, the support staff are very friendly and helpful and the menu is varied and tasty with meat or fish option most days. Cannot comment on activities as I was on bed rest but aware of activities
daily. All residents have a comprehensive record tracking health issues. All around a very enjoyable experience given the circumstances of my residency.

The staff and management displayed an excellent level of service and care at all times 24/7. They kept us informed at all times when there were changes in conditions and needs following his recent death and continued during this process to provide the family with care and compassion. The home dealt

The whole process of my mum moving went very smoothly and professionally. The staff have been very kind, and patient and are always ready to listen to your requests. They really do care for my mum, she always looks well and happy when I visit her. They also continue to provide my mum with her Catholic
faith which is very important to us. They put her daily Mass online.

Initially, my father and mother were due to have two weeks of respite care but this turned out to be permanent residency for my father after my mother passed away. The love, care and support that we as a family received from the staff was superb, particularly when my father required end-of-life care
before his passing last week. This is our first experience of using a care home and I'm so happy we chose Cherry Blossom Manor. We'd highly recommend it to others.

I have been coming to work with my Mum(Ali Mather, Home Administrator)since I was only 12 weeks old. Due to this, I love people, fuss & yummy snacks. I used to help deliver the newspapers to the Residents but now my legs aren't as good as they were I potter around to visit them in my own sweet time.
