We have found that Cherry Blossom Manor is a very good care home. The carers are all positive and very cheerful and they show respect to the residents. We have spoken to the carers on many occasions, they are very helpful! They often have comforting words when things can be a little stressful and upsetting.
They always make time to speak to you. We have also heard that the food is very good! Compliments to the chef!

The care my parents are receiving at this care home is excellent. The staff are approachable and ensure the care and attention is second to none. Their needs are met and any concerns the staff may have are always conveyed to me.

Dad was extremely ill on Christmas Eve and if it was not for the staff that day he would not have made it to the doctor. Well, Dad is still here and receives excellent care from the staff. Two, in particular, are a real credit to the home and I hope they are treated accordingly.

The care and attention that all members of staff give to my in-laws is second to none.
The encouragement to assist and ensure a quality of life from all staff to my mother-in-law has given her confidence to join in and my father-in-law is encouraged to play the piano and enjoy films.

My stay here I can only judge from my own physical condition at that time.
The accommodation was excellent but limited by the abilities of the other occupants.
This reduced the moral chance of forming social contact with other people.
Very good but very limited choice owing to few people in a similar
situation to my own.

This care home manages my mother's personal needs 24/7 including regular services and nursing. My mother is treated in many kind ways by all the staff and has maintained a good relationship with ourselves in order to cooperate on timing, visits and events.
I have encouraged the home to create a musical
extension to their regular timetable and help by playing the piano which is appreciated as well.


The Christmas Party this year was well organised and the standard of fun exceptional. I have participated in regular events about dementia training. The communication between different layers of staffing could be improved sometimes when my outsider view is challenged but I do not hold this as a severe criticism.

Every time I visit, the place is always clean and tidy, with the staff looking after all efficiently and they seem caring. Most times when I come, it is the end of lunch, so there is always clearing, helping the last to finish. My mum's room is always clean and tidy, and I am impressed generally with
the lack of 'dirty' smells - overall good!

I can honestly say that I could not have hoped for better care for my dad in his last year of life. The care, companionship and support shown to be given to my dad was beyond my expectations. My appreciation to all the staff that cared for him, cannot be extended enough to show how much it means to

My mother moved to Cherry Blossom Manor 8 weeks ago. I was very impressed with the caring and efficient way in which she was welcomed and integrated into her new surroundings. All the staff are kind and approachable and nothing is too much trouble. Despite her dementia, they have made great efforts
to get to know Mum and understand her, her likes and dislikes. The surroundings are all very pleasant and there is a happy atmosphere on Memory Lane.

I really enjoyed the party on Saturday for Barchester's 25th birthday. I really enjoyed watching the others getting their pictures done by the caricaturist. I loved watching 'George and Ginger' and it was a very good atmosphere - I look forward to seeing them again!

Understanding staff, good facilities, good communications, a god send. The home feels good. The relationships between me and the staff are excellent and I feel at home. Mother has settled in well. I have a high trust of the staff and I know my mother is in very safe hands. I can speak from after looking
after my mother with my sister for four years. I am content.
