The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. They have made Mum very comfortable and seem to be very constructive in her care plan and needs. In the short time Mum has been a resident we are very pleased overall with the care and attention.
Many thanks for taking the time to review. I'm so pleased that you are happy with the care that mum is given. It is a pleasure to look after her. I will forward your kind words to the rest of the tea. Kind regards, Gigy.
I think the care has been very good considering the difficult circumstances of the last two years.
Many thanks for taking the time to review. It has been an extremely difficult time these past 2 years for the residents, staff, and of course our families. We hope to be through the worst and can continue to move forward. I will pass your kind words to the rest of the team. Kind regards, Gigy.
The staff at Ashley Court have provided the utmost care and attention to my friend during her end of life. They made her feel comfortable and cared for and nothing was too much trouble.
Thank you for the wonderful 5-star review. The team work extremely hard to ensure the care, love, and support of every resident so it's lovely to hear.
From the moment we enter we are always welcomed and made to feel safe and secure with all the testing. Very efficient reception. One member of staff in particular always answers our questions politely and is very informative. The newsletters are a great idea. The home is always clean and warm and the staff are very friendly. I couldn't ask for a better home for Mum to be in.
Thank you so much for your amazing 5-star review. The team work extremely hard to ensure the care, love, and support of every resident so it's lovely to hear that this is being recognised. I will most definitely share this with the team. Kindest regards Gigy.
Lovely home. Staff are excellent and friendly. They look after my mother so well, considering she is very difficult to deal with. I would recommend Ashley Court to everyone for their loved ones, as they get looked after well.
Thank you so much for your glowing review we really do appreciate your kind words and support. It is pleasure to look after mum. Kindest regards Gigy.
My father was cared for for 4 1/2 years. The care was excellent and constant even through the covid time when visiting was limited you could Facetime at any time. This showed the quality of care and dedication of staff who treated him as family. Thank you so much.
Many thanks for taking the time to review at this difficult time. I know how hard it was on families to not be able to visit their loved ones during Covid so I very much appreciate your comments. It was a pleasure to care for dad for the past 4 1/2 years his presence within the home is sorely missed. I wish you and your family well. Kindest regards, Gigy.
My mum has been in Ashley Court for 14 months. The care Mum receives continues to be excellent. Staff are kind and caring. Management and Admin staff are helpful, supportive, and always available to discuss/answer any questions. The nursing care is attentive and it is reassuring to me to know Mum's GP surgery and Ashley Court have a close working relationship.
Many thanks for your lovely review. I know it is hard when a loved one has to go into care, especially at this time, we are so glad you are happy with the care that mum is receiving. I will share your review with the rest of the team. Kindest regards.
My mother was extremely fortunate to spend her last few weeks at Ashley Court, where she received excellent nursing care from professional, kind and sympathetic staff. Nothing was too much trouble, and communication was very good at all levels. The nurses were skilled, knowledgeable and always had time to talk. Whenever my other wanted to chat or have her handheld, someone was there for her. But it is far more than that; it is a place where my mother died peacefully surrounded by people who gave her wonderful, loving care. I am eternally grateful for that. Thank you.
What a beautiful review. Many thanks for taking the time to write, especially during such a difficult time for you. It was a pleasure to look after mum; she was a lovely lady who made a big impression in such a short time. I wish you and your family well and you continue to be in my thoughts. Kindest regards.
We as a family feel very lucky that our relative was so comfortable in the last few weeks of his life. He always seemed very comfortable and relaxed. We would like to thank the team very much.
Many thanks for your lovely review, it was a pleasure to look after dad during his final weeks. I wish you and the family well. Kind regards Gigy.
My husband and I recently celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary and because of COVID couldn't have the party that I had hoped for but the staff went out of their way to make it a special time for us. They made an area in the garden where myself, my husband, son, daughter-in-law, and 2 grandsons could meet. There were banners, balloons, pictures, and snacks. It made the day very special. I would like to say a huge thank you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review, we were so thrilled to arrange this for you considering what we've all be through it was nice to have a celebration. Hopefully next years celebration will be bigger and even better. Kindest regards Gigy
I highly recommend Ashley Court Care Home and have peace of mind knowing my mum is being cared for by excellent staff and in a secure and caring environment.
Many thanks for your lovely review. It's a pleasure to look after mum so I am so pleased that you feel the care given to mum is excellent. I am so glad that you can come in and visit mum regularly, it's been so lovely welcoming all the families back so long may it continue. Kind regards Gigy.
The care given to my aunt during her final years was exemplary. When Covid-19 hit last year, your staff became her family and took great care to keep us up to date with her care and FaceTimed when you could.
Many thanks for your lovely review, we are so glad that you felt the care given to your aunt during her final years was great. Covid has been very hard for all our families especially with loved ones nearing the end of their lives and not being able to visit. I very much believe we are all one...
Our Mum has been resident here now for nearly 16 months. Throughout this time the care and attention she has received has been outstanding, the attention to detail by the management team is excellent and we are kept up to date with a weekly newsletter. The Chef has made all efforts to discuss the menus with the residents from asking what they liked, what they disliked, what they would like to see, anything they didn't want to see. The chef is Spanish and has introduced the residents to tapas, at Christmas time a special effort was made to include Xmas cakes, decorations and outside each bedroom a gnome or similar was left. At Easter chocolate treats were made and distributed, the home gave each resident an Easter card. Mum has dementia and sadly is not always aware of the efforts that are made by the whole team to make their lives happy and fulfilled, their patience is unending and we are very happy and thankful that we chose Ashley Court for our Mum.
Many thanks for taking the time to write such a beautiful in-depth review, it's a joy and a pleasure to look after mum and knowing that we are making a difference makes everything we do worthwhile. I will be sharing this with the rest of the team. Kindest regards, Gigy.
They treated me like gold dust. The staff and nurses on my floor worked very hard and are kind people. The garden here is lovely, and there is lots to do. The food is outstanding. The cleanliness here is very good.
Many thanks for your beautiful review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay it was a pleasure to look after you. I will be sharing this with the team. Kind regards Gigy.
Our heartfelt thanks go to everyone.
Many thanks, Susan for your beautiful, kind words even though you are grieving for dad you have taken the time to write this review, it was a pleasure to look after dad during his last few months. I will cherish this review and share with the whole team. Much love to you and your family during this very difficult time. Kindest regards, Gigy.
Since the first day that I arrived at this residence the service of care and attention has been of the highest quality. I cannot find a fault with any of the staff here. They always try and do their best for everyone and help is given where required.
Thank you so very much for your lovely review; it means the world to us that you are happy here and makes us feel like we are doing our very best for our lovely residents.
At the moment am enjoying my stay here. Staff are caring and good.
Many thanks for your lovely review we are so glad you are happy here it truly means the world to us.
Having had some experience with elderly/ill relatives in care homes I can highly recommend Ashley Court. The care and support the staff provided to my aunt during her 5-week stay has been truly amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and my aunt, although seriously ill, had nothing but praise for the care she received. The staff were also extremely supportive, friendly and informative to the family and for which we thank you. With social distancing in place it was clearly difficult for the staff to explain the importance of this to their residents and family/friends at a time when the elderly and ill would want visits from their loved ones. Ashley Court, in my view, managed it extremely well and did all they could within the restrictions to accommodate our visits to my aunt. Words really cannot express our thanks for the care you gave to my aunt.
Many thanks, Katie, for your exceptional review. At a time when you were experiencing such heartache, we were pleased that we could give you some comfort and support. Your aunt was an amazing lady even during her illness when she was very unwell she still had a smile for everyone and it was a pleasure to look after her. I will share this review with all my team. Kindest regards, Gigy.
I think that every here is very good, also very friendly and most helpful at all times. This is a lovely place to live in.
We are so pleased with your 5 star review especially being a resident here. We will pass on to the rest of the team.
This is a comfortable and well-managed home and the staff have the resident's interests at heart. I am very pleased with the care that my father is receiving and it is very reassuring to know that he is in such safe hands.
Many thanks for taking the time to write a review and for your lovely comments which I will pass on to the rest of the team.

The most rewarding thing is knowing our residents are receiving the best possible care, and seeing the smile on their faces means a lot. Likewise, residents' families take comfort and reassurance in this, too.

Many of our staff are long-serving, which is a testament to the atmosphere we create. Staff are comfortable and happy to work and we provide them with a high level of support at all times. We’re always in touch with families so they know their loved ones are being well looked after.

I enjoy working as part of a supportive team where listening to one another helps create a warm and welcoming home for our residents. I enrich residents’ lives by being kind, helpful, and doing everything I can to ensure their comfort and make them feel truly at home. My background includes college education, mechanical training, and P.A.T. testing qualifications.

I enjoy cooking homemade meals for our residents and working alongside a supportive team that keeps me informed of any changes in residents’ needs. I enrich residents’ lives by getting to know their personal preferences and preparing comforting, home-style meals that help make Ashley Court feel relaxed and welcoming. I hold a Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification.

As Head Housekeeper at Ashley Court, I take pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. I enrich residents’ lives by ensuring their living spaces are comfortable and personalised, while also taking time to chat, listen, and show kindness each day. My training includes infection prevention and control, manual handling and moving techniques, cleaning procedures and product use, and health and safety.
