My Father has now been in Trefoil House for 2 and a half years. During this time, he has been cared for well and treated as one of the family. He likes the way all the carers will have a quick word with him, or give him a wave of hello. The main event is on a Thursday afternoon when a singer comes
into the home and an intoxicating atmosphere is created by them. I thank you all.

We recently came in on a very hot summer's day and were thinking that it might be rather hot and sticky inside. It was a pleasure to see the doors open and some residents enjoying the garden in the shade of the gazebos. Upstairs the pub sing-a-long was in full swing, residents obviously enjoying themselves
and windows wide open to get a breeze. This home doesn't look like a care home but rather a pleasant hotel. That is what makes it stand out.

I do think Trefoil House is the best care home I have ever visited. I still think they are very over priced.

Regarding price, we carry out research annually to ensure that our fees are reasonable and that they realistically reflect the high standards of care we deliver within the local area. As a not-for-profit organisation, it is important that we invest any additional funds to improve and enrich the lives of our residents first and foremost, to provide a continuous programme of quality training for all our care staff, as well as maintain our homes and gardens to a high standard – all of which comes at a cost. We do hope the high quality of care we deliver to each of our residents reflects this investment.

Trefoil House is now my Dad's home. I know he feels at home and we feel like we are visiting him in his home. I like the staff/patient ratio. I feel the staff are competent in dementia care, although there are certain staff who have taken my mother’s behaviour personally and they should be trained to recognise a cognitive deficit. I have had to take issue in respect of my mother’s particular behavioural issues,
however, I did call a meeting and, as a family, we were totally respected as regards our concerns and the matter was resolved.

Very high standards, excellent rooms, excellent food, fabulous staff, reception team and manager.
My father chose to move into a care home in 2017 and has never complained about anyone or anything at Trefoil House.
Definitely a 5 Star Hotel for the elderly.

The staff and team have provided a consistently high level of care and support to my mother who has dementia, everyone is welcoming whatever time you go, activities are laid on for the residents and mum has benefitted from this time at Trefoil. Trefoil House is an excellent home. Mum has been there for over four years now and has settled in well. The process of finding a care home in a hurry is very traumatic and it takes all the family a while to settle with the decision. Everyone at Trefoil has done their utmost to ensure that Mum is so
well cared for - she is treated respectfully and as an individual which is so important. Knowing that she is in good hands means peace of mind for us. I would recommend Trefoil to anyone looking to find a good care home. Everyone feels like family.
The rooms are spacious and well maintained, the food is excellent, plenty of variety and very tasty! Above all the people are special. Thank you.

The staff make Trefoil House a good place to be. Mum is treated with kindness and respect. People help her to get the best from life within the constraints of her now more limited physical strength. The garden makes a huge difference. A place to enjoy the outside world.

We are so lucky to have found a lovely home for our mam. Mam is treated with respect and dignity by all members of staff. She has a lovely room to chill out in when she wants some quiet time, but we usually find her in the lounge having a natter with the other residents. Cannot fault the home at all.

The caring friendly nature of all the staff is second to none. I find it a lovely place to visit. I think my mum is in the best place at this stage of her life. I find the support given to me and the care and concern for my mum excellent.

The person I visited was full of praise for the staff and the food.
The staff were very helpful and attentive to the needs of the people in their care.
They were very polite to me as a visitor and answered any questions I had.

Mum went into Trefoil last March. She is well looked after and I do trust the carers. My only comment would be that more activities happened and it doesn't appear that much is going on for mum.

The care mum has received as a resident at Trefoil House has been outstanding. The support offered to us as a family has been invaluable. Mum is well looked after and her individual needs are always met. We have found all members of staff to be approachable from managers to cleaning staff and all queries
and issues raised are dealt with promptly. We would have no hesitation in recommending your care home to others.

My father has been living at Trefoil House for almost a year and I am delighted with the wonderful care he receives. Staff provided a unique family atmosphere with familiar facilities such as themed bar, shop and hairdresser with locally linked names and American diner where residents and relatives
can meet for a drink and snack - nothing institutional here. Knowledgeable, highly trained and friendly staff support my father in every way and I feel they work hard to understand his specific needs and reassure him. He enjoys the relaxed banter too and nothing seems too much trouble. The amazing activities team work hard to provide activities and entertainment requested and enjoyed by residents relevant to their interests and life experiences. One of the best loved are the personalised fun trips out in Betsey - Trefoil's own taxi. A top aspect is the responsiveness of everyone in the teams towards residents and relative. Staff strive to ensure residents have a home in which they can feel relaxed, safe, secure and happy and this is how I believe my father and I both feel.
