My Mum has severe dementia and has never liked staying in previous care homes, but Mum has really settled well at Trefoil House. I know that whilst this is not what I want for my Mum I know that she is safe and well treated and cared for. Mum is happy at Trefoil House. Mum has access to doctors when
required, a hairdresser on site and is taken to the dentist when needed. The staff are wonderful and caring to all the residents too.

A very clean and well-presented care home. The staff are very attentive and look after my mum well which I would imagine is not an easy job. They always ring you if there is any problem. I am glad there was room.

My Mother-in-law moved into Trefoil House in November. Everyone made us all very welcome and made every effort to help her settle in.
All staff appear sensitive to her needs. Any concerns or questions we may have are dealt with immediately and nothing seems like too much trouble.

The staff at this home are friendly, approachable and provide a fantastic level of care. My children enjoy coming to visit their grandfather and the staff make them feel very welcome and feel part of the team here. Very happy that my father is being cared for at this fantastic place.

I am well satisfied with the home my uncle is in. My uncle suffers with dementia and the staff who look after him are very understanding and kind to him. Also the feed back I get from the home about him is very good.

I have been very happy we chose this home for Mum. She is content and thankful for the help she is given. The staff are very friendly, caring and attentive. There is a good morale among people working here. The environment is safe, clean and stimulating with differently decorated areas for residents
to enjoy. The activities re welcoming and food good. The furnishing cared for and refreshed. Mum is always well dressed in her style with freshly laundered clothing always available. The staff welcome visitors and there are places to go and things to see inside and out. The garden is well kept with places to sit and get fresh air. There is a routine and structure.

My father appears happy. Says that he is well looked after. Staff are kind and friendly and nursing is excellent.


Laundry can be a bit haphazard. Other peoples clothes appearing in Dad's drawers and wardrobe.


Although Dad doesn't participate (he is partially sighted) the entertainment

and activities are very good.


When Dad had his 100th birthday in 2013 it was well catered for and food well presented by the staff.


The only downside is the lack of a 'smoking room'.... he enjoys a cigar!
