There are so many exceptional staff at Regency Manor that it is difficult to choose one thing that epitomises the wonderful care, love and friendship that the residents experience. Perhaps the following will show why Regency Manor is, in my opinion, "head and shoulders" above most other care homes.
My mother enjoys weekend trips out but her mobility recently meant it was extremely difficult for me to move her safely between her wheelchair and my car.
A member of the activities team has a classic London taxi and he has arrived, off duty, on several Sundays to take me and mum in her wheelchair, for some wonderful cream teas. He combines this with bringing another lady to spend precious time with her husband, who is a resident at Regency Manor.
When we arrive back with mum he collects the other lady and takes her home again.
She is unable to visit without this help so this kind act brings joy and enrichment to 4 lives and we are all very grateful.
This is just one instance of the way staff at Regency Manor go above and beyond what is expected of them. Well done, each and every one of you.

Granddad says it is magnificent, he feels comfortable and likes the fact that he can decide to mix in or stay in his room. Staff are kind and look after him even when poorly. Granddad enjoys the food and it has a good variety. He likes having his own television in his room.

I have been a visitor here for almost 2 years and have always had a very warm welcome. There is always smiles on faces whether staff or residents. My friend tells me also that everyone is so kind, nothing is too much trouble. I have visited many homes but never seen the love and care that is given here,
so very gentle with residents even at difficult times. This home is a fine example of elderly care in every way, it is light, bright and so very clean, just amazing.

Mum and Dad enjoyed living here. Dad said that had he known what it was like he would have moved here much sooner. There's a huge amount of thought that goes into ensuring everyone is cared for as the individual that they are and that each resident feels that Regency is their home. Mind you, for quite
some time Mum thought she was staying in a hotel.
I cannot praise the staff here enough for making the last years of my parent's lives as enjoyable and as comfortable as they were. A lot of good memories.

I come to Regency Manor to visit a friend of mine. The staff are always welcoming, especially one particular member of staff who is, I think, Head of the unit. The floor is always clean and tidy and the residents always look happy. It's always a pleasant visit.
