The care home is very pleasant in its layout, externally and internally. The carers are very friendly and welcoming, I trust that they look after my grandmother. The management doesn't seem to be as welcoming as they were in the first instance. Overall good standards.

Very good since mum moved in back in March 2016. Only comment would make, pictures still not on wall we had requested, so going to do ourselves. Was told carpet being changed just after she arrived but not been done and armchair stained already when moved in, so would be nice if can be replaced. Otherwise all very satisfactory.

Thanks so much for your positive comments and I am pleased that as soon as you brought this to our attention we hung the pictures on the wall, changed the chair and cleaned the carpet.

Staff very professional and caring, despite what mom says! Food is adequate, needs improving - more fresh veg. Rooms light and airy. Staff do a good job in bad circumstances.

The Beeches is a very warm, friendly and safe environment for my aunt. The staff are very good and provide top quality care in all aspects especially the activities. Only today the residents were playing dominoes and hoopla. The biggest compliment I can pay is it doesn't feel like a typical care home. The layout is more like a large house and the rooms are lovely and modern. Thanks.

All the staff have been very attentive, friendly and courteous. The home is clean and always smells fresh. The food always smells tasty and is well presented. Entertainment is available almost every day. The hairdresser does a great job of my mother's hair, which is very thin and wispy. Manicures are available done by the staff and the personal care always appears to be of a high and gentle nature. Thank you for all the care and affection your staff give to my mother every day.

My father has been at The Beeches for 3 years. At the time of his admittance he was quite poorly. Thanks to the kindness, care and professionalism of the team there, he celebrated his 101st birthday this year. He is very happy and comfortable. From the point of view of myself and my siblings, we feel confident that dad has the best of care and are sure in the knowledge that we are always kept informed of any problems. We are made to feel welcome any time we visit, with staff always pleasant and helpful.

Spoke to the social worker on the phone due to the reason I do not live near to the care home quite some distance. We discussed was I happy with my aunts care and well being. I advised I was pleased with the care she is given and has a lovely comfortable room. She can take herself back and forth to the dining/lounge room with her zimmer frame. She is content here and safe, which is the thing for me to know she is safe and well looked after.

As soon as I set foot in The Beeches Residential Care Home I knew this was the home for my mom, with it's lovely 'homely feel', friendly staff and comfortable surroundings. Since moving into The Beeches on 21st April, 2016 mom is very settled, happy and all her needs are met. She has a lovely en-suite bedroom and enjoys the home-cooked meals.

All the staff are very friendly and caring and I feel that the residents are all looked after according to their disabilities. If I had a problem, I feel I could go to any of the staff to resolve this, management included.

Francesca LileJob Title:Home ManagerJoined: 2017

I began my career in care as an activities coordinator, discovering the joy of bringing happiness and purpose to residents.

Later, as a care assistant, I had the privilege of ensuring residents received tailored care informed by their unique histories and needs.

In my senior care roles, I embraced a person-centred approach, treating residents like extended family. I believe in truly knowing each individual, and helping them to live fulfilling lives.

Becoming a mother deepened my empathy for families, teaching me to address even small concerns with compassion and care. I always strive to view situations through the lens of how I would want my own loved ones treated.

Now, as Home Manager at The Beeches, I bring years of experience and a passion for creating a vibrant, welcoming environment where residents, their families, and staff feel valued and supported.

I am proud of Sanctuary Care’s ethos of enriching lives, and fostering a safe, nurturing home with engaging, personalised experiences that help every resident thrive.
