My sister has been with you for a few weeks. Having visited your care home, I have been so impressed that I felt necessary for me to say thank you.
The home itself is palatial, spacious, extremely well-furnished, clean, beautifully decorated and well-designed.
The staff I have met have been cheerful,
attentive, caring and hardworking/
Mainly, my sister is in your home for end-of-life care, the fact that she is calm, most comfortable (although in pain) and well cared for.

Visiting my great-nan, super welcoming staff and really attentive to residents' needs. The rooms are very nice and homely and it's great to see my nan settling in here. I'm really impressed and hope the care can remain at such a high standard as here. Keep up the good work!

Every time we go to see our elderly friend, the staff are very friendly and open to a chat. We were particularly impressed by the Valentine's afternoon tea you laid on for our friend and us, it was very extravagant and totally unexpected. I am very happy that our friend has been encouraged to go out
on day trips for the first time since he's been with you, especially as he's not a very social person. The outings offered are brilliant.

My friend has been here for some time now. The home is clean and tidy. Some care staff are too busy to talk but overall friendly. Don't often see mangers around. The cook comes out and has a friendly chat and he is always well presented and kind. The food always looks good and fresh. My friend is well
looked after and I think the place had definitely improved over the past eighteen months.

My husband moved into St Michael’s Court after staying somewhere else for four months. He is back in his home town. The staff have been very friendly, and the atmosphere is very warm and relaxing. All my husband's visitors have been welcomed. I would recommend this home. The rooms are very spacious
and always very clean. Nothing is too much trouble. I have no problems about leaving my husband in their safe hands.

My parents have lived here since January and have settled in well. All staff are extremely helpful, and they are well looked after. My family and I are relieved they are somewhere we know they are safe. Loved the fact that heads of departments came to introduce themselves, and their services the same
day they moved in. Thought that was a lovely thing to do, and very welcoming management and care teams are very easy to speak to with any concerns/queries/problems and are quickly resolved. Have and will continue to recommend this care home!

My brother came to live in June 2021. The staff followed the Covid rules to the letter. I had some issues to start with, but in the end, he was well cared for, treated with respect and was given a dignified death.

All the staff have always been very helpful with any questions I may have. They are very caring to my father, who has been residing at St Michael's Court since September 2021. At present, he is very needy, and everyone involved in his care has shown so much care and compassion.

Staff are always very helpful when I visit my dear friend. My experience of the home is I am always welcomed with a smile. Office staff are excellent, and it is very clean and tidy; always smells fresh and no smell of urine, which is excellent.

My frail 91-year-old dad has spent the last month at St Michael's Court, following a 4-week hospital stay where he was mostly confined to bed. We doubted that he would ever walk again, but thanks to the perseverance and encouragement of staff, he is now doing so. I visit him daily and have watched him
getting physically stronger and cognitively better, and as a family, we are enormously grateful for the kindness shown to him by all the staff. As Dad has dementia, I have organised every aspect of his life for the last 3-years and have an in-depth knowledge of his medical and care requirements. I have been surprised at how quickly the carers have got to know him, recognise and understand his needs. The managers have taken into account my suggestions (usually designed to replicate what Dad has been used to at home), I know from how he is being cared for that this information has been disseminated. Dad is content, well-fed, clean, stimulated, feels safe and is treated with respect and dignity.

Our only experience in the last nine months has been via Zoom meetings in the last few weeks. From what we have seen in these limited sessions is that he appears to have been kept in good health, bearing in mind his condition. It's unfortunate that he does not relate to the tablet for Zoom, but that
is not St Michael's fault - they do their best in the circumstances.

It's about time I wrote a review... my mum has been at St Michael's for 7 years now, there may have been some issues over the years, but nothing that would get me thinking about taking her somewhere else. The staff have kept me informed about Mum's well being and any issues they have phoned me straight
away. I used to take Mum out every week, and I could discuss with staff how Mum has been, a very open chat with a cup of tea. Since this Covid pandemic, I have only visited twice in the last year, but I still phone regularly, probably too regularly, and get a friendly conversation with the manager or carers about Mum. I have also had Zoom meetings to talk to Mum, although Mum wonders where I am... I cannot praise the staff enough in this toughest of years and the dedication and going above and beyond the call of duty has been amazing. Thank you all. I know Mum is well looked after, and I am more than happy for her to stay there receiving the care and love of the carers and management.

My brother has been treated as a true member of the St Michael’s family and received nursing care above and beyond that which would be found in many other homes. I can only thank all the staff for their caring dedication and professionalism, which extended his life expectancy. He has been treated with
respect and understanding. The whole team work together to provide an excellent package of physical, mental and stimulating care. Activities are always fun, and the individual encouraged to express themselves. It is good to know that our loved ones are in safe hands.
