This home is the best, my daughter and I looked online and this is a winner, very nice staff, will help us so much. The food has a good choice each day to choose from, I enjoy it very much and the outings on Tuesdays I always enjoy, the organiser is very nice. I have been here 2 years this month December.

My Mother-in-law is always happy when we come over to see her. She always seems well cared for and she is happy with the food and the way she is treated. There are plenty of activities for her to do if she wants to. Also, a chance to go out in the mini bus every now and then.

No complaints at all, I would recommend this care home - my Mother is looked after very well.

We bring toiletries in, not just for my Mum but for all the residents.

Staff very helpful, welcoming and friendly. I can go to sleep at night knowing that my husband is in good hands. He is encouraged to go to the dining room for meals, which is great for keeping him mobile. Food is excellent, and plenty of it. I have no concerns about his care.

I am pleased to say I was very well looked after. Such a relaxing place to be, and all the staff were very kind-mannered. It was a pleasant time as the weather was hot so we were in the gardens.

My sister has been with you for a few weeks. Having visited your care home, I have been so impressed that I felt necessary for me to say thank you.
The home itself is palatial, spacious, extremely well-furnished, clean, beautifully decorated and well-designed.
The staff I have met have been cheerful, attentive, caring and hardworking/

Mainly, my sister is in your home for end-of-life care, the fact that she is calm, most comfortable (although in pain) and well cared for.

Every time we go to see our elderly friend, the staff are very friendly and open to a chat. We were particularly impressed by the Valentine's afternoon tea you laid on for our friend and us, it was very extravagant and totally unexpected. I am very happy that our friend has been encouraged to go out on day trips for the first time since he's been with you, especially as he's not a very social person. The outings offered are brilliant.

My friend has been here for some time now. The home is clean and tidy. Some care staff are too busy to talk but overall friendly. Don't often see mangers around. The cook comes out and has a friendly chat and he is always well presented and kind. The food always looks good and fresh. My friend is well looked after and I think the place had definitely improved over the past eighteen months.

My husband moved into St Michael’s Court after staying somewhere else for four months. He is back in his home town. The staff have been very friendly, and the atmosphere is very warm and relaxing. All my husband's visitors have been welcomed. I would recommend this home. The rooms are very spacious and always very clean. Nothing is too much trouble. I have no problems about leaving my husband in their safe hands.

My parents have lived here since January and have settled in well. All staff are extremely helpful, and they are well looked after. My family and I are relieved they are somewhere we know they are safe. Loved the fact that heads of departments came to introduce themselves, and their services the same day they moved in. Thought that was a lovely thing to do, and very welcoming management and care teams are very easy to speak to with any concerns/queries/problems and are quickly resolved. Have and will continue to recommend this care home!

All the staff have always been very helpful with any questions I may have. They are very caring to my father, who has been residing at St Michael's Court since September 2021. At present, he is very needy, and everyone involved in his care has shown so much care and compassion.

Review from Hayley M (Daughter of Resident) published on 15 October 2021 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My frail 91-year-old dad has spent the last month at St Michael's Court, following a 4-week hospital stay where he was mostly confined to bed. We doubted that he would ever walk again, but thanks to the perseverance and encouragement of staff, he is now doing so. I visit him daily and have watched him getting physically stronger and cognitively better, and as a family, we are enormously grateful for the kindness shown to him by all the staff. As Dad has dementia, I have organised every aspect of his life for the last 3-years and have an in-depth knowledge of his medical and care requirements. I have been surprised at how quickly the carers have got to know him, recognise and understand his needs. The managers have taken into account my suggestions (usually designed to replicate what Dad has been used to at home), I know from how he is being cared for that this information has been disseminated. Dad is content, well-fed, clean, stimulated, feels safe and is treated with respect and dignity.
