Over the years and progression of mum's dementia, the staff and management became her extended family. They are very experienced, genuinely caring people and many have been there a long time. The manager was tremendous to talk to, particularly through the difficult times - the loss of dad, the ups and downs of mum’s health and finally mum’s passing. I live away, so emails, photos and phone calls were invaluable.
Having a loved one with dementia is a rollercoaster of emotions, but we knew from the start that mum was in the best hands. Thanks Waterfield House! You made mum’s autumn years the best they could possibly have been.

Welcome to Waterfield House. My name is Jane, and I’ve worked in social care for over 30 years, taking on a range of roles throughout my career, including Team Leader, Deputy Manager, and now serving as the Manager of Waterfield Care Home
I’m proud to lead an incredible team who are dedicated to providing dignified and compassionate care, not only to our residents but also to their families.
When I walk through the doors of Waterfield, I don’t see it as my workplace but as the residents’ home, because that’s exactly how we want them to feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home. We strive to create an inclusive, welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable and valued.
You're warmly invited to visit us, explore our home, and join in our community events.

I’m proud to have achieved a Level 3 qualification in Adult Care Work with merit, and I love bringing energy and positivity to my role—especially through silly dancing and singing, which always lightens the mood!
In my free time, I enjoy connecting with nature on walks, as well as dancing and singing to my heart's content.
Hi, I'm Sathian! I have proudly served as the Maintenance Man at Waterfield House for the past seven years, and I’ll be celebrating this milestone on January 31, 2025. I have a deep passion for repair and maintenance work, and I love exploring new techniques and tools to enhance my skills.
One of the most rewarding parts of my role is interacting with the residents—I enjoy our conversations and the sense of community they bring.
Outside of work, I like to unwind with movies and music, two of my favourite pastimes. They keep me inspired and relaxed, much like my work at Waterfield House.
Hi, I'm Mandy! I have been the Home Administrator at Waterfield House for three wonderful years. I truly enjoy meeting the public, including residents' relatives, and spending time with the residents themselves.
I believe in keeping life light-hearted and finding joy in every day. Outside of work, I stay active by running, going to the gym, and walking. When I’m looking to relax, you’ll often find me diving into a good book.
My role is the head housekeeper. I make sure the environment is clean and well-presented. I have been with Runwood for 10 years. I have received Dignity Star of the Month several times and won an award for best-dressed showroom. A fun fact about me is I was the new year baby for 1988 I was in the paper and my mum received a ring from the local jewellery store which I now own. What I like best about my role is the satisfaction of a well-presented home and making it comfortable and homely for the residents and families visiting.
My main hobby is walking, I have completed all the highest peaks in England among many other smaller ones.
