Dad moved fairly recently from upper residential to nursing. The staff are very caring towards the residents and welcoming to their friends and relatives. It is reassuring to know that Dad is being looked after in a home that he has been happy in for the past 3 and a half years. I must also mention
the pink ladies who do a fantastic job keeping the residents entertained.

Your 'Pink Ladies' are brilliant. The rapport they have with the residents is stunning. They clearly love and adore each resident. The activities are interesting and fun. Love the choir and the art activities with the visiting lady. Art and music tap into a very special part of the brain so tap hidden
memories and skills. So important.
Cleaning staff are brilliant too. So fastidious. They do a good job.

Mums clothes go missing all the time, even though they are named. Her teeth went missing after having them for only 3 weeks! Always finding other residents clothes in mums room and they are always named too! I have had to ask many times for the room to be cleaned and bed to be changed (as dirty) or
made. I do believe the staff could pop in on residents more after dinner for a quick 'how are you' instead of sitting at the front desk. The Pink Ladies are amazing and always make the resident happy.

My mother has moved, relatively recently, from residential to the dementia floor, where the lady and her young carers do an amazing job. Residents are treated with care and dignity and very much according to their various individual needs. All staff invariably greet the residents by name. I have been
inspired at dinner time by the attention, care and help as the residents' needs vary so. The activity ladies include mum in a variety of activities and she loves being taken into the garden.

This place is unlike any care home I've been in before, more like a hotel, from the moment you arrive in reception. The staff are friendly, always around but in an unobtrusive way contributing to a wonderful atmosphere overall.
As much as I would have preferred my aunt to remain independent in her
own home, when that became impossible it is reassuring to know that the next best thing is as good as this. Thank you to all the staff here for helping her to settle in.

I cannot praise the staff at this care home enough.
Mum had spent her last years here (cannot remember what year she arrived). The kindness and care, the fun and laughter we shared with the staff and with mum. The staff go above and beyond their care for the residents is brilliant.

Mum had been in hospital after breaking her wrist in 2 places. She was then transferred to the top floor of Cliftonville Care Home, whereby her condition improved because of the care and patience and kindness of the staff. Because she was about to be discharged due to her being medically Ok, we felt
that the care system provided by the council was inadequate for her return home. As we were going on holiday, we decided to have her cared for by Cliftonville to give us peace of mind whilst away.
We were not disappointed, her care throughout has been impeccable and we would not hesitate to recommend Cliftonville.

I found the staff extremely pleasant and attentive to resident's needs. The facility itself is very clean and welcoming. The atmosphere is wonderful with a beautiful lounge and dining room. There are lots of activities and everything is done to help residents recover quickly while at the same time making

Very clean and beautifully furnished and decorated. Very helpful staff with the exception of one who was extremely rude.
However, the remaining staff couldn't do enough for us, would highly recommend.

Nan was cared for over 5 years and she was happy which gave us the comfort living so far away. She became the pinnacle being there for so long and everybody knew her and she was always asked after, from nurses to canteen staff. They were also very helpful and accommodating at a sad time. The staff can't
do enough to help! Thank you.

My grandmother spent five very happy years at Cliftonville Care Home. The staff were always very kind and helpful even taking her breakfast in bed. Her personal care was very good and all her needs were attended to. I cannot say thank you to the staff enough for the care and attention they showed my

I simply could not want for better. More like a top rated 5-star hotel than a care home. All staff are fully experienced and trained and more than compliant with updated legislation. Catering is superb with meals cooked on the premises and the accommodation.....well, you just have to visit and see for
yourself. They will probably let you out eventually if you are nice. Seriously though, as I say, my family could not want for better!!

A deep bow and heartfelt thanks from me to the wonderful staff at Cliftonville who have been caring for my frail mum since January. Such a relief to know my mum is getting the best possible care so I can get on with my day job and other things I have to do. Good links with GP and I am kept informed.
I sense mum feels more care for loved than at any other time in her life. Lots of activities and encouragement for the residents get involved and stay soundly active. Lovely to know mum feels at home and amongst friends.

As Home Manager, I fully understand how difficult the transition into new surroundings can be. My highly qualified team and I are committed to fully supporting you and your family throughout this journey and always.


I am passionate about our residents being safe, making them happy, and enabling them to lead fully enriched lives whilst always receiving the highest quality of care.


One thing that I feel is really important is offering residents a lot of personal choice and as Cliftonville Care home is their home they have the right to choose what goes on here. I am hands-on in my role, I like to spend as much time as possible with the people that we care for and I also really enjoy getting to know our residents' families and provide them with support when they need it.


Our team here at Cliftonville Care Home are dedicated to guaranteeing that all of our residents are treated with dignity, respect and attention, in turn enabling them to celebrate life in their new home which I feel exceptionally privileged to be a part of.
