My mother was at Beechdale Manor for several years until her passing on September 25th 2019. The service provided was always excellent. Her room was bright, cheerful and clean. On her 100th birthday, the Manager and staff prepared a wonderful celebration, putting in much effort. On mother's passing the Manager was extremely helpful in dealing with obtaining a death certificate. I live in the USA.

Brilliant care home. My grandmother has settled in really well. The staff are brilliant and welcoming. For my grandmother's birthday, they made her a birthday cake and did us a little tea party for the family. I love bringing my children to see her as well.

Brilliant care home with lovely staff. Grandmother suffers from Dementia and all the staff have been really patient with her. She settled in really quickly, after moving during May and very much enjoys her time here. Have seen positive improvements in her, since she began living here and enjoy coming to see her.

Cared for my mum at home for a long time, she didn't eat or very little. Not very good at communicating and very subdued. Being at Beechdale my mum eats, talks more and joins in more activities. Mum's health needs, get regularly looked after and most of all she smiles. Staff very very friendly and helpful.

My mother was in Beechdale Manor for a week's respite. The staff could not help my mother enough as she wasn't well, so they were there for her every need ie the nurse/doctor were called. I highly recommend the staff.

The management and staff are excellent and very approachable. My mother has been in the home for almost 6 years and recently broke her hip. She is now up and waling unaided due to the excellent care. Dealing with dementia patients is very demanding but I have never seen the staff being other than very patient and understanding. I am friendly with many of them.

Since my mum came into respite she has had excellent care, the staff and medical staff and manager have done more for her than the carers at home did in a year. We have found out just how poorly she really is and got help and assistance straight away. Staff are caring and friendly and very hard working.

Fantastic care for my mother-in-law for 18 months - second to none - would highly recommend it. All carers have done an excellent job - both my husband and I can't thank everyone enough!

Overall Experience

My wife moved into Beechdale Manor in April following a very bad experience at a competitive care home nearby. From my very first visit to Beechdale I was impressed. The manager could not have been more honest and obliging, every request has been granted and his caring attitude percolates through all of the staff. It must be difficult for them to treat each resident as the only person they have to care for but they manage this with what appears to be such ease. The food is not only very varied and nourishable but served hot and eye appealing. The cleanliness of the entire building is a real credit to the housekeepers. The nurses care about their patients well being. Organizing outside help from professionals such as physiotherapists is not only welcomed but encouraged. I cannot heap enough praise on Beechdale and my wife's condition since she has been a resident there has improved beyond my wildest dreams. So thank you, thank you to every one of the incredible staff.

My mum celebrated her 100th birthday on 19th April and the party that was put on for her was exceptional. There was everything anyone could want - a beautiful cake, lots of tasty dishes, champagne and the room was set out in a great party style. I could not fault the amazing staff. They are all so kind and considerate. This is the best care home I have ever been to and I have been to many.

Overall Experience
My later mother was a resident at Beechdale Manor Care home for the last four years. During this time, it was my experiences that my mother was settled and happy. Indeed, it became her home. I put this down to the quality of life she had, due to her surroundings, activities and the care she received. I would like to commend all the staff for their diligence in the care they have shown, providing a safe, stimulating, loving environment, treating my mother like family, with respect and dignity. In her last few days, my brother and I had first-hand experience of the professionalism and care shown by all staff at Beechdale Manor.

I would like to thank you all. Thank you.

Overall Experience

My Grandma stayed at the home for approximately three months in 2019. I think anyone would struggle to find a better home.

My Grandma had a lovely airy room with en-suite and a patio door overlooking the garden.

But more importantly, everyone at the home, irrespective of their role, took time to provide my grandma with the highest standard of care, attention and dignity during her time here. Nothing was too much trouble to meet my Grandmas individual needs which were fully tailored. Although my Grandma was only there for a few months, it was clear from her arrival this home is set apart from others I have visited on her behalf - it’s the staff at all levels - they truly believe in what they do and demonstrate they care.

Sadly my Grandma passed away, but I was able to seek solace in the knowledge that she was looked after to the highest standard during her time here. Words cannot express enough my gratitude to everyone at Beechdale Manor Care Home and the care they gave my Grandma.

Beechdale Manor Care Home felt lovely from the first visit. The staff (from cleaner, kitchen, carer, nurses to the admin/management staff) couldn't do enough for my mother-in-law.
The rooms are airy and clean, the food good.

I cannot fault the care, plus they tried to involve her in things.

My Mum has been at the home since last March. I am very pleased with all aspects of Mum's care. The staff are helpful and kind, with the care of Mum. I am always informed if there is anything wrong with Mum. I am very happy with the care Mum receives from all the staff at the home and have no worries about Mum staying there.
