This is a very difficult question. The home has some wonderful staff, people that really do care, and want to give their best. However, because of the nature of the business and the fact that there is no government body to enforce higher wages for the staff the turnover is high, there are not...
This is a very difficult question. The home has some wonderful staff, people that really do care, and want to give their best. However, because of the nature of the business and the fact that there is no government body to enforce higher wages for the staff the turnover is high, there are not enough staff to really be able to make a difference to residents. Activities are virtually non-existent. Even though we are in the summer months, the staff don't take the resident out to enjoy the garden and get some fresh air. They just don't have the resources . Question! Would I want to live in a care home??
