My husband will have been in the home 12 months this month and his care has been excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. They are friendly reassuring and professional, the home is like a 4-star hotel with lovely furnishings and decor and the residents' rooms are always clean. The home has a lovely welcoming atmosphere due to the friendliness of the staff and my husband gets on well with them all.

On the sudden passing of my dear Mom, circumstances with Par made it too difficult to care for him alone at home. It is still so raw and heartbreaking, with the help and support of the care team the transition has been that much easier, they are absolutely amazing. The love they have shown to Par, giving him encouragement to remain independent as much as possible. I am in awe of them (Wow). It's like one big happy family there, they are always watching and vigilant. I have never had any concerns, well done to you all and a massive heartfelt thank you from me.

Very pleased, well looked after, staff are very good with her, can't say a bad word about anything. Rooms are very clean, she's very happy every time I visit, I can leave knowing she's in good hands. Overall I am very happy with Newcross Care Home.

My nan receives excellent care, all the staff are amazing and always so kind to her. She always tells me how lovely the food is.

The care home is a pleasant environment, bright and clean. The staff are always pleasant and welcoming. There are always lots of activities for the residents.

Staff are always very welcoming, they make you feel at home. They let you know if there are concerns or if things are needed for Mom. Mom loves it there. I want to move in myself. Thank you all you all do a great job.

A wonderful care home in my opinion it's the loveliest around this area. Staff are lovely, helpful and caring. Any information about the resident is communicated immediately. Atmosphere is very good. Cleanliness is perfect and the cleaners work hard to achieve this.

New Cross Care Home is a wonderful caring team that definitely go above and beyond in many ways. My lovely mom has been there for 20 months and we feel that she has gained another family, they are so loving and caring towards her that it really does put your mind at rest. Thank you.

My li'l mom has been with Newcross for just under a year now, after being diagnosed with mixed dementia. It was such a tough decision to make, but her downturn was so quick and it was heartbreaking to see her go through so much turmoil... But, after meeting some of the wonderful staff and viewing the home itself, it gave us hope that she could be safe and comfortable again. Newcross is exceptional and more like a hotel than a home! Everyone there is fabulous! The medical staff, activities, catering, housekeeping, reception, maintenance and those who also come in to bring extra normality, such as exercise classes, singers, hairdressers, chiropody, etc. All goes into the great attention and detail of Mom's care, but also gives her the freedom to be herself. Mom still has her ups and downs, that this horrible incurable disease brings, but she certainly has a lot more 'ups' these days and it's due to the security and care that she is being shown at Newcross. So, a massive thank you from me!

Dad absolutely loves living there and my sister and I have peace of mind. It’s wonderful that in his sunset years, he is cared for and loved by all those around him, just yards from a major hospital. I’m so glad we chose Newcross Care Home.

In short, the whole place is excellent. The only observation is that the CQC rating is Good. I would have thought it was Outstanding.

I am happy with the care that Mom receives. If I have any concerns, they are dealt with quickly and satisfactorily. The staff are very caring and approachable. Relatives are invited to relative meetings, where you can have your say and therefore feel involved.

All staff make my nan feel part of the family, always very welcoming to us visiting and allowing us to be part of activities, glad we chose this place for my nan, she is so settled and knows the staff very well, this makes me and the rest of my family very comforted that we can safely say she's looked after.

On Christmas day me, my daughter and my mom had Christmas lunch at Newcross Care Home. The home kindly said it was okay for us to do this so we could spend time with my dad. The staff as always were very welcoming and helpful and the meal was delicious. My whole experience at Newcross Care Home has been excellent. My dad always receives excellent care. Every member of the team goes the extra mile to ensure he is well looked after. The food is excellent, always a selection on the menu. There are numerous activities to keep the residents entertained. The home manager and her team are always approachable and ready to answer any questions relatives may have.

I enjoy the quiz, the singers and doing exercises with staff once a week.

The staff and manager of Newcross Care Home have been great with my mom since she came here. She broke her hip last year and within a few weeks of being in hospital and coming back to the home, she was up and got more mobile as the weeks went by and you would never know she had had a broken hip to see her now. This was down to the dedication of the staff here and I am eternally grateful. She is always happy and singing and visiting her is always a lovely, positive experience, nothing is too much trouble for the staff, who are always happy to help. Thank you.
