Very impressed with the care my aunty receives. Her annual review was informative, thorough and well presented. Maintenance deserves a special mention. Problems with her wheelchair were resolved immediately. The introduction of new residents to the home has had a positive effect on Aunty's wellbeing. Integration of all in activities has been very positive. A special mention goes to the hairdresser who is a breath of fresh air. Mental well being is enhanced by her positive, fun and lively interaction with the ladies.

My aunt seems really settled and happy, looking forward to the Christmas festivities (enjoyed puss in boots yesterday). Staff are friendly and welcoming. Brilliant receptionist. Excellent hairdresser who chats away to Aunty whilst attending to her. Excellent that we can visit without needing to make an appointment. Maintenance man brilliant, last week fixed Auntie's wheelchair within minutes. Lounges and dining room excellent. Have noticed Aunty is more talkative, the impact of new residents has had a positive impact on Auntie's social abilities. Well done Newcross. A*.

Continues to be good care, responsive to any current resident needs, with weekly access to the same, helpful GP, useful care review meetings and residents and relatives meetings are held periodically. Well-trained, caring staff, with good structure. Good number of activities, run by dedicated in-house staff and external providers.

The level of care goes beyond what I ever expected. My uncle always says how attentive the staff are, always willing to help and support him. The room he is in is very spacious and well maintained, enjoying the benefit of a well equipped en-suite. The meals always look appetising and well balanced. They keep the residence well entertained with various activities.

For two years I had been trying to live alone after my husband died suddenly from cancer. I resisted the prospect of living in a care home, following many reports of poor standard in such places. Following a period of respite in Newcross, I decided to stay. The manager and staff were very supportive and available to talk through my options. They understood my reluctance to make the decision which meant a major upheaval in my life.

This is more than a care home, it's a community! My father was an emergency addition to the care system, we didn't see it coming. He was in hospital for several weeks whilst a place was found and he was placed in a terrible care facility as a temporary measure. His social worker eventually looked for a more permanent home for him and his needs. Newcross Care Home was suggested and a showing was booked (we didn't get this choice as his family with the last place). We were personally shown round and all questions answered. I couldn't believe the feel of the place as soon as you walk in. It's spotlessly clean, smells amazing and honestly feels like a hotel. The staff go above and beyond with my father, also with ourselves as family. Nothing is too big or too small. The rooms are brilliant, communication is excellent and the facilities are second to none. I cannot believe this is a care home! There isn't a staff member we haven't taken fondly to! Five stars in our opinion.

Excellent care upon arrival and since. Team work very good and the place is more like a hotel than a home. Everything about the staff and facilities filled me with confidence that my aunt was in a good place and that she would be happy.

My mother attended firstly on respite, then became a permanent resident, the staff are friendly and helpful, my mother has settled in well and made lots of friends. It has provided a safe place and allowed my mother to get the support she required and to join in activities to keep her mind active. Well done Newcross.

My mom has been in Newcross Care Home for 17 months. As a family, we are very happy with the care she receives and the interaction of staff with her and with us. We appreciate the relatives meetings and care review meetings. Any issues we have raised have been listened to and dealt with in a timely manner.

My nan stayed at Newcross Care Home for 10 days of respite. We couldn't have been happier with the service they provided. She absolutely loved her time there. She joined in with all the activities and said she made lots of friends with the residents. Thank you to all the staff who were so welcoming and caring towards my nan. We will definitely choose Newcross Care Home for respite again.

Our mom came to Newcross in October 2022, we visited many care homes and Newcross blew them out of the water. Our mom loves the care home and especially the staff. She has been ill a couple of times to do with her illness and the staff have been so attentive and caring towards her. We want to thank Newcross for everything they do for Mom.

My Mother-in-law moved in about a month ago and has settled in really quickly. She feels safe and well cared for. As a family, we are really pleased with the level of care given to her and feel confident that she is well looked after at all times. Her health and well-being have improved greatly and she looks happier and healthier in herself.

After some hesitancy to use a care home for respite care whilst the family were away, I am very glad to have made the decision to stay at Newcross Care Home. I have felt welcomed, comfortable, listened to and respected and have enjoyed the company I had there. I would recommend this home to anybody and am looking forward to an opportunity to visit and stay again!

My grandad has truly been shown so much affection and care since his admission. Unfortunately, a few months ago, he also lost his wife and the staff and management were so supportive. The staff are lovely and the manager is smiling every time I visit him. Truly an amazing place. Thank you all

Absolutely perfect place, the staff are helpful and friendly. Residents are taken care of very well, couldn't ask for a better place for the residents. They go above and beyond to help the residents, top place!

I am very happy here - all staff are lovely, very caring. My room is very comfortable and the food is usually very good.

Mom arrived at Newcross Care Home in December 2022, since being there the change has been amazing. We go and see her and she is singing with staff and chatting with other residents. We watch her laughing and joking which we rarely saw in the previous care home. Newcross took Mom straight from hospital after she broke her hip. The care she has received is second to none and staff call us with any concerns. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, she takes part in activities and always looks happy and cared for, as a family we are very happy. Thank you to all.

My stepmother has recently become a resident at Newcross. She is very disabled physically and also has dementia. Right from her assessment at home until the present day, she has been given excellent care. Her treatment has been first-class, and she is treated with respect and kindness by staff who ensure a calm environment and who meet her needs. Outside professionals, e.g. GP and physio, were alerted to her needs and gave prompt treatment. Accommodation and food are lovely, and the whole environment is comfortable and welcoming. Clinical staff have been extremely helpful to me as a relative. I highly recommend this home to others.

The care that my sister gets is excellent, she is looked after with kindness and care. The meals are brilliant. Her room is always clean and tidy, she is always clean and dressed. She has her hair and nails done and always looks beautiful. Lots of things for them to do throughout the day. It is the best care that she could get. Your staff are always attentive to her and very kind. They are friendly and always have time for you if you need anything. She couldn't be in a better home. Thank you all, you are superstars and the ladies on the front desk are great. Well done.
