Located in the serene suburb of Fallings Park, on Prestwood Road, Newcross Care Home in Wolverhampton has been an integral part of the local community for over seven years. The home provides considerate residential, respite and dementia care tailored to individual needs.

My wife has settled in well due, I feel, to the excellent staff. All her basic needs are attended to as well as emotional support. I had visited several care homes in advance of my wife's residence and Newcross was by far the best.

I have always found the staff to be very caring and competent with Mum's care. They keep me informed of any issues and have managed to encourage Mum to join in activities and take her own outings, which she has really enjoyed. This has greatly improved her mental and physical well-being. The staff are

When my dad came into the home he could not walk or eat. When he left he was walking and talking he was cared for by the staff to every high standard and was given personal care every day.
I would not have had him in any other care home and his appetite was back up to normal.

I find the staff looking after my wife attentive and caring. She is very relaxed and content. As she suffers from Alzheimer's I feel this is very important and obviously not an easy situation for the staff who cope well with this problem.

Mom is very happy here, the staff tell me that she has always got a smile for them. Everyone is very professional and the level of care is excellent. Any issues are dealt with promptly. The covid restrictions obviously impacted upon the level of activities available. It would be good if the variety
of activities returned to normal because they were excellent. In January 2020 when Mom was admitted, she used a walking stick but now her mobility is much improved and she no longer uses her stick!

Beverley Aldridge

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2019

Hello, my name is Beverley, and I am delighted to be the Home Manager here at Newcross.


I have 40 years of experience within the healthcare sector and have achieved qualifications such as the Management level 4 Registered Manager's Award. Working in residential and nursing settings, my previous roles have been as an Operations Manager and a Nurse.


Within this time, I have shared many treasurable moments with the residents I have had the pleasure to meet along the way. One proud moment that has stayed with me throughout my career was when I was able to reunite one of my residents with their brother, who had lost contact and not seen each other for 15 years. To their surprise, they found out they had only been living a few miles apart the whole time.


I would best describe myself as someone who is very outgoing, warm and welcoming and always wanting the best for the home. I pride myself in providing a high-quality service to all residents ensuring they receive an exceptional level of care and have a fun, enjoyable life here at Newcross Care Home. In my spare time, I enjoy going on holiday, meeting with friends for meals out and spending time with my family.
