Under the Covid rules, I visited my dad on the afternoon of Thursday 19th November and was amazed how well he looked after being so poorly earlier in the year. He looked smart and well cared for, but above all, happy. I would like to thank the carers and everyone concerned, for all their efforts in
returning him to his current state of health and making his day-to-day living at Newcross so comfortable. We, his family, are just so happy we found you!

My Mum spent her last six weeks in the care of Newcross Care Home. During that time, she received nothing but love, care and kindness from the staff there and was treated with the greatest dignity. The staff were always available to speak to us by telephone and during Mum's last days when we were able
to visit, looked after us with so much kindness and thoughtfulness. I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely care home.

Staff understood "personalised resident care" - care was tailored to the needs of my uncle. Knew his background, personal history and were able to talk to him and engage him in conversation which helped his dementia. He was treated with dignity - always addressed by name, staff knocked on door before
entering etc, able to lock his door if wished. He was always clean, shaved and appropriately dressed. Activities were tailored to his interests, never forced to participate. Communication with family was very good. He was happy.

My father and my uncle have both been cared for by this care home in the last stages of their lives.
After losing my Dad last year, my uncle needed fulltime care, and my sisters and I wanted him to be looked after as well as my Dad had been, so placed him in Newcross Care home.
It is an amazing
place; the staff are wonderful and can't do enough for the residents. We knew that they were well fed, cared for, safe, and most of all happy in your care.
We can't thank you enough!

Hello, my name is Beverley, and I am delighted to be the Home Manager here at Newcross.


I have 40 years of experience within the healthcare sector and have achieved qualifications such as the Management level 4 Registered Manager's Award. Working in residential and nursing settings, my previous roles have been as an Operations Manager and a Nurse.


Within this time, I have shared many treasurable moments with the residents I have had the pleasure to meet along the way. One proud moment that has stayed with me throughout my career was when I was able to reunite one of my residents with their brother, who had lost contact and not seen each other for 15 years. To their surprise, they found out they had only been living a few miles apart the whole time.


I would best describe myself as someone who is very outgoing, warm and welcoming and always wanting the best for the home. I pride myself in providing a high-quality service to all residents ensuring they receive an exceptional level of care and have a fun, enjoyable life here at Newcross Care Home. In my spare time, I enjoy going on holiday, meeting with friends for meals out and spending time with my family.
