A very welcoming atmosphere. Staff are caring and know the residents well. Communication is excellent. Mum is very happy here. The current situation is extremely difficult, but the staff have managed it very well.

My mom seems very happy here. Visits are adhered to. The team members are very helpful and understanding. Booking other visits is done easily.

Well looked after by the staff. The food was also well.

Really safe and efficient visit. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The building and grounds are clean, tidy and the "visiting pod" is comfortable.

Under the Covid rules, I visited my dad on the afternoon of Thursday 19th November and was amazed how well he looked after being so poorly earlier in the year. He looked smart and well cared for, but above all, happy. I would like to thank the carers and everyone concerned, for all their efforts in returning him to his current state of health and making his day-to-day living at Newcross so comfortable. We, his family, are just so happy we found you!

My Mum spent her last six weeks in the care of Newcross Care Home. During that time, she received nothing but love, care and kindness from the staff there and was treated with the greatest dignity. The staff were always available to speak to us by telephone and during Mum's last days when we were able to visit, looked after us with so much kindness and thoughtfulness. I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely care home.

Staff understood "personalised resident care" - care was tailored to the needs of my uncle. Knew his background, personal history and were able to talk to him and engage him in conversation which helped his dementia. He was treated with dignity - always addressed by name, staff knocked on door before entering etc, able to lock his door if wished. He was always clean, shaved and appropriately dressed. Activities were tailored to his interests, never forced to participate. Communication with family was very good. He was happy.

Whilst staying at Newcross Care Home my grandad received exceptional care and support from all departments and I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for care for loved ones.

An excellent home the staff were very caring and provided mum with everything she needed. The standard of care was excellent and although my mum was unsure about staying in a care home at first, she soon settled in and enjoyed staying there. The room and facilities were excellent and my mum was very easily able to negotiate the wide corridors and dining room. She enjoyed the food and activities provided which were varied and interesting.

My mother was looked after extremely well during her 2 weeks of respite care. All the staff were very friendly, professional and caring. There as an excellent varied range of activities. The home was modern, clean and well maintained. Plenty of variety of food and guests visiting were made very welcome. I would have no hesitation in recommending New Cross.

An excellent care home, where your loved one can be safe in the knowledge that they will be well looked after. Every member of staff shows respect and is caring, to not only the resident but is extended to the family. Never during the past 6 1/2years have we had the need to complain. Exemplorary care, respect, consideration and love. Well done.
