At a very low esteem following a nasty virus and chest infection following admission, my general health and appetite improved and regained my confidence through the care provided thank you.

Highly recommend the place. They look after my wife well.

My Nan spent four months in the home. After a very difficult period of struggling in her own home. She had struggled with ill health and the increasing effects of dementia. The wonderful staff and the beautiful surroundings made Nan's final months happier and calmer. We would not hesitate to recommend the care home to anyone who needed to choose residential care. We cannot thank the team enough.

Everyone working and involved at this care home make me feel so much better that my mum is at Newcross Care Home Avery. She is safe and treated with respect and dignity and she's loved. I can't fault anyone or anything to do with this home. A very caring bunch of people.

From the time my mum came into Newcross Care Home, she was treated with respect and dignity. She wasn't always the easiest of residents but all the staff greeted her with smiles and words of encouragement. The care, love and kindness shown was superb. Can't praise them enough. As a relative, I was also treated in this way. I was kept informed every step of the way. Well done.

The team made my mother's final months bearable and she died peacefully and with dignity as she would have wished.

My auntie was cared for extremely well whilst at Newcross Care Home. All staff were kind, compassionate and professional. Auntie was encouraged to participate in all activities and had experiences that she would never have had in her own home. They made her last few months happy, which I am extremely grateful for.

My auntie has received very good care at Newcross Care home. Every member of staff is extremely helpful, caring and always willing to answer any questions the family have.

Our mother spent one week in respite, as her carer was away on holiday and we made it known on the interview day that she had dementia and was incontinent and we fully expected her hygiene care during her stay would be dealt with by the staff. But unfortunately, she was left to her own devices, which is not good for someone with dementia. She was not showered regularly, nor was she assisted with incontinence pads, which is something she has to have help with every few hours. She had the same clothes on for more than 3 days.

On early inspection of this care home, it was modern, clean and staff very helpful and friendly, so we felt it was the right place to leave our mother for one week. But that was not the case and we will definitely not be using this service again.
