My experience of this care home has nothing but extreme praise, from the moment I came in to see Anisha Grange to the time my great uncle arrived I have been truly made to feel at ease. The staff here are amazing.

My second review, now we are 4 months into our Anisha Grange journey. My first review identified 'friendliness' as this care home's differentiating factor - well I am pleased to report that this friendliness continues to pervade every aspect of the Anisha Grange Team's ethos. My Mother in Law has
settled in very well and continually tells me of the fact that her care team always find time for her, no matter what the circumstances. I have also seen the determination of the catering team, to understand what the residents like to eat, and I salute their effort is listening, noting, and taking action - it cannot be easy catering for such a diverse set of customers, but their desire to listen is indeed a great attribute - well done the catering team (beautiful birthday cake!). Finally, I think the whole Coffee Club idea is just great, it allows residents and guests to take a break in a positive environment, or just grab a coffee on the way to the room for a visit - a 'real' asset.

I have been a regular visitor for over 6 years.
On Wednesday, the manager and the team staged a Jazz and Poetry Evening.
During the evening the team served canapés and very naughty cocktails! enjoyed by all.
My Daughter and I found the experience quite humbling, watching a section of society so
often forgotten, who was, the centre of attention and admiration.
It requires special dedication and love of people to provide this level of genuine care. We thank and applaud you, Daniel, Carl and all the boys and girls, especially Chef and team for the stunning canapés.
Anisha Grange, unlike many care homes, is a pleasure to visit, with its complimentary cafe/ garden room, to enjoy a coffee, specialist teas and delicious cake.
If you are in the care, medical and fire service, then watch out for the dates when complimentary breakfasts are served to set you up for the day ahead or to nourish you after a night shift.
We look forward to the next themed evening.

I found all the team at Anisha Grange to be extremely friendly and caring. My mother was welcomed warmly and really supported at a very difficult time for her. The whole team showed great understanding of her needs and a great willingness to put themselves out for her. As a result, she is beginning
to settle and become more integrated with other residents than she had ever done at her previous care home.

On behalf of my mum, I would like to thank all the staff at Anisha Grange for their help and kindness. Although she has only been resident since 17th December she has felt at home from day one and it is great to see a smile on her face and to know that she is safe and happy, I could not ask for more.

My mum was in Anisha Grange dementia unit for 3+ years. At first, care was very good and we were happy. Over time though, the care deteriorated and there was a high turn over of staff. Often it seemed that there were insufficient staff to properly interact with and supervise residents.
Mum can be
difficult to persuade to accept help with washing and dressing and she often was dirty or wearing a previous day’s clothing/inappropriate clothing. Sometimes certain carers had “the knack” and mum let them help her, sadly they often left.
Mum is in a new home now, and in the 3 weeks she’s been there she has been clean every day, including the benefit of close supervision when toileting, which did not regularly happen in Anisha.
The fees at Anisha Grange do not reflect the level of care and were substantially more than we pay now.
Although facilities are indeed outstanding there was often insufficient staff to take residents to enjoy them, eg the garden during the beautiful summer.

There is an excellent feeling of community and support within the home. The setting itself is homely and welcoming.
The staff are without exception professional and caring. There could be more staff but I believe this is being addressed.

I cannot complain about the care my loved one receives but you need to look after the wonderful staff you have. Morale is very low and at lots of times, they are understaffed which is not acceptable. The coffee area looks bare and unhomely. The removal of books and games hasn't been a good idea.

When visiting, I have found my sister to be very well cared for. All the staff are extremely friendly and efficient and see, to "go the extra mile" for the residents. Nothing is too much trouble. As a relative of a dementia sufferer, I am very impressed at the amount of patience shown by all the staff

I would like to say how kind everyone is at Anisha Grange Care Home in Billericay, not only to my mother but also to all members of our family.
In particular, I would like to mention one of the carers on duty on Sunday (15th July 2018). She went over and above what would be expected, and was extremely
helpful, even though it was a mealtime and therefore a very busy time. She showed such empathy and understanding with Mum and also went all the way to the laundry to collect something for us.
I have asked the Care Home reception to pass on my gratitude to her - Anisha staff are the best!

My Mother had been very ill before moving into Anisha Grange, she had been in hospital for 3 months having suffered 2 strokes. Since moving there at the end of January we have seen her health improve from week to week. She was initially there to see how she would like living there and is so happy with
the care given and all the teams there working so hard to keep the residents well cared for and happy with all the different activities on offer. She could not imagine going back to her flat where she was living before her illness.

I can’t recommend Anisha Grange highly enough. My grandmother stayed for respite care for a month and to quote her “I feel like I was living a life again”. Wonderful friendly and caring staff, lovely setting and excellent facilities.

The staff are wonderful, at all times looking to include residents in activities and encouraging them in all aspects of life in Anisha. Communication with family is very good.

My father loves his home at Anisha Grange. He is treated with kindness and respect by all the staff and enjoys the many varied activities and entertainment.
I have never seen him enjoy his food so much as he does now. The menu is well thought out and the meals well prepared. He loves to sit in the
Garden Cafe in the afternoon with a piece of home made cake.
It gives me great peace of mind to know he lives in a beautiful environment and is so well-cared for by his ‘Anisha Grange family’.

Can't recommend Anisha Grange enough. My uncle came to live here in August 2017, since living here he has thrived. I never thought he would be so happy, he has become much more sociable joining in loads of activities and enjoying them. The staff are so caring and helpful to us and my uncle and any problems
are dealt with straight away. Fab place for my uncle and we are very happy with it.

My name is John and I am the Customer Relationship Manager at Anisha Grange Care Home, Billericay.


I have worked in the care industry for 10 years, and when I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my children, who keep me very active and busy.


My role is to support families who are looking for care for their loved ones and find the right care solution for them. The most rewarding part of my role is watching our residents settle into their new home, make new friends and get the best quality of life.


I’m always on hand to support both the residents and their families, and also our local community of Billericay.
