Mum moved into Brinnington Hall in June - & within 4 weeks she had settled, with the great support, care & dilligance of the staff. Her room was clean, & so comfy. From day 1, she was encouraged to join in with all the group activities on offer, from visits to Blackpool to Knit 'N' Natter. The care & time given to her is outstanding, she is so happy & settled!! The food is also outstanding - all Mums favourites & more! The communal areas are lovely, we feel apart of Mums "new home" - & there is always a smile, kind word or hug - from all the team
We'd like to extend our appreciation to you for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review.

My mum came to Brinnington Hall in July she was made welcome from the beginning staff came to see and introduce themselves sadly she past away on the 1st of December but while she was there the staff couldn't do enough for her the care she received was first class and when I came to visit her I was always made welcome and the love I received when she past was lovely I would like to mention all the staff but there are too many they were all lovely

Again, thank you for your positive comments.
Brinny Hall is still my favourite Care Home, having experienced a number in recent years .... Some of the wonderful Carers are truly committed, whilst just a few need a wee whack around the back of the head with a soft pillow, as and when required ! .... I love the way there are many good laughs around the place and this often comes from all levels of staff ....However, would like to see more Staff giving visitors, such as myself, a good olde ' Good Morning ' when first meeting visitors on a new day for the first time ... still too many do not seem to manage this, which is a shame .... some however, are really great - the great Care Home manager is a good example - Activities seem to have picked up in recent times which is good - Perhaps we could have a return of Elvis, not the original, of course, which we could barely afford, but the look-a-like did a grand job ! .... All in all, Brinny Hall still flies the flag for others to match ....
Dear Stephen,Thank you so much for your kind words. We are glad to hear you had a positive experience, and we truly appreciate your support Many thanks
My Grandma came here very worried/scared but after her first day she was calm + comfortable.

I have been impressed by the care, dedication and professionalism of all the staff since my mum became a resident in April, especially under some trying circumstances which have since seemed to have abated. Five stars!
Brinnington Hall Care Home in Stockport is simply excellent. From the first day when my mother moved in, she was extremely happy and so well looked after by the excellent and caring staff. We were met at the door by the very friendly and professional admin/front-of-house staff who explained everything in detail and were so welcoming. My mother's room is very comfortable, clean, tidy and has everything she needs. The care staff are extremely friendly, attentive and always on hand. The lounge/dining room is large, welcoming and very comfortable, and it did not take long for my mother to meet people and make friends. She really enjoyed the 'knit and nat' session, plus the guest singer who was excellent and really enjoyable to see everyone joining in. There are plenty of activities for everyone to join in, should they wish to. Thank you.

It means so much to our colleagues when they receive this level of praise; they work tirelessly throughout the year to deliver the kindest possible care to residents and hearing such fantastic feedback is amazing to them. Thank you, once again, for your kind words.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The home was warm, clean and tidy. Overall, I cannot fault anything and I don't think there is anything that can be improved very impressed.
Thank you for your lovely review, it’s wonderful to hear we are ticking all the boxes!
I have been very impressed from my first contact with Brinnington Hall care home. My dad has settled really well and feels comfortable and secure. He's only been a resident for a few weeks but I'm happy that we've chosen the right place.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we are so pleased your dad has settled in so well and we can give you the peace of mind that he is happy and safe with us at Brinnington Hall.
As a visitor, I feel welcome.
Maybe staff need training on issues to do with hearing aids.
The garden area was neglected when we first came, but there has been a noticeable effort to improve it recently. This matters as stimulation when taking Mum out in a wheelchair.
It is good that visitors can take in well-behaved family fogs.
Thank you for taking the time to write a response; it’s lovely to hear that your mum is well cared for. If you do have any concerns about hearing aids or anything else, please do speak with our home manager. We are currently involved in the Ideal Carehomes ‘Gardens in Bloom’ competition, and I am sure our efforts have made a big difference and given us a shot at the big win!
Care and other staff are always lovely with my mother-in-law, and she is very happy here.
It's good to see that the garden is starting to be given a makeover as up to now, it has appeared pretty neglected.
I think this is important as a place to sit out (when warm enough) and as stimulation when taking residents out.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home; we agree it has a wonderful, warm atmosphere, and hopefully, the fact you have seen an improvement in our gardens means we can have high hopes for our company Gardens in Bloom competition. Ideal Carehomes absolutely agrees the stimulation for our...
A wonderful member of your team!
What a great review, we love it when members of our team get feedback and what better feedback could we get than this? Please be assured this review has been passed to Brinnington Hall and we will be making a big fuss of this very special member of our team.
My dad had a really hard time in hospital and down to them, he lost a leg. He was in a care home which did not look after him. I got him moved to Brinnington Hall, and he has now been there nearly 5 years. He would not be alive today if it was not for the amazing, caring, proper human beings that work at Brinnington. They can never do enough for my dad, whatever time, or day if he needs anything they are there. I cannot thank them enough.
We are sorry that your dad had such a difficult journey to get to us but so pleased that he is now part of the Brinnington Hall family and that we are able to give him the care and support he requires. We agree, our team at Brinnington are amazing and it’s wonderful that they have been able to do so much for your dad. Thank you for your lovely words, we have passed them on to the team.
The home is bright and spacious.
I highly recommend this home to all. The staff are brilliant and there's always lots going on to keep the residents entertained.
We couldn’t be happier to read this review! Thank you for taking the time to appreciate our wonderful staff.
I looked at around 20 care homes before choosing Brinnington Hall as her new home and it was its staff and the positive atmosphere they created that made the choice easy for me. Over the past two years, I've never had cause to regret the decision and whenever I've visited she has seemed happy and well cared for and the atmosphere in the home has continued to be upbeat and positive.
They said at the start that it could be her home for life and the staff were true to their word, making sure that she was able to spend her last days in her own room, with someone always at her side, rather than in an impersonal hospital. The level of care at that time was exemplary and does all of its staff great credit.
Thank you so much for leaving such a wonderful, heartfelt review. As someone who looked at so many homes you were obviously very dedicated to finding the best for your mother and we are so grateful that we were able to be that home. It is of the upmost importance to us that the residents feel happy...
The home is outstanding, very clean and safe. My mum settled really well. The bedrooms are bright with ensuite, the carers are so kind and thoughtful. The carers really try to go the extra mile for my mum.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a glowing review.
