Mum has been at Fairway View for about 12 months with mobility and memory problems. Staff at all levels have been consistently kind, compassionate and professional. They will accompany mum to appointments if necessary and have proactively arranged healthcare when they have noticed potential problems.
Senior staff keep us informed when there have been any concerns about mum. As a family, we have complete confidence that any issues raised will be dealt with appropriately and professionally. Staff go out of their way to make the home environment as welcoming and comfortable as possible – whether that’s by making tea for visitors or having a joke with mum despite being so busy. Mum’s ensuite room is bright, clean and comfortable and the home is always clean when we visit. Mum regularly tells us that she enjoys the food and there is a good choice at each meal. There are regular activities on offer for residents if they want to join in. We happily recommend Fairway View care home to other families.

I went to visit a friend and a resident at Fairway View for the first time since her admission. I was impressed by the spaciousness of the communal area and the high standard of decor. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed and there was plenty of staff around. As each staff member appeared they said "Hello"
to my friend and showed concern for her welfare and we were offered a drink. The staff were warm and friendly. My lasting impression is one of calmness and warmth.

My mum joined Fairway View in March 2021, after a very long search and months in hospital following a broken back, as a result of neglect from her previous care home. The care that she has been provided with, by all staff at Fairway view, has been outstanding and exceptional. Not only has she been looked
after so well to cater for her current needs, but she seems to have flourished and improved so much that her mobility is better and her outlook on life is brighter. She seems to get better every time we see her. She is always smiling and all the other residents are happy and talkative, I have no hesitation in recommending Fairway View for anyone's relative. They truly provide the most amazing service and finally, after years of worry, we can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that mum is well taken care of. We can call in at any time of the day or night arranged or unexpected and see that she is always settled and happy. Thank you so much to all staff at Fairway View.

Excellent, caring and comfortable environment. Cannot fault the staff, their number one priority is the welfare, comfort and safety of the residents.
My mother has been a resident here for the past 18 months and as a family, we are really happy with the high level of care she receives.

When visiting my friend, who is a resident of Fairway View, I am very impressed by the professionalism and dedication of the staff at all levels. There is an atmosphere of welcome and openness, which also influences the resident in their attitude to visitors. This I feel is helped by the large open
lounge and dining areas.
I experience some of the activities arranged for the residents, which were excellent.
I feel strongly that all of this has helped my friend to settle in very quickly.

Fairway View's staff couldn't have been more welcoming and attentive, both to my mother and to her family visiting and bringing her for a respite admission. The only problems were lost clothes and hearing aids, which must be a constant problem in any care home. The garden was a particularly lovely resource,
well kept and interesting (not always the case with other homes I have visited).

Excellent. I've seen my mum struggle in the past with accommodation, due to her physical health and also due to dementia she suffers from. Fairway View is in my view a prayer that's been answered. Mum is really the happiest I've seen and is so content and settled. I'm always pleased when I see mum here.
The staff are so courteous and respond amazingly. I feel so lucky to have mum here.

On every visit, I have had a very pleasant experience. The home is extremely clean and has no odour. All residents are very happy and the entertainment and facilities are all excellent, so I am told by the person I visit.

I went to visit as my dad needs permanent care. My immediate impression was the staff were kind and friendly. They showed empathy and I knew instantly that they would have my dad's best interests at heart. The home is clean and inviting.

My Dad was a resident at Fairway View from June 2020 to November 2021, recently moving on to another home in a different area. In writing this review, I'd mainly pay a huge and sincere tribute to the front line care staff and activities coordinators who very clearly held Dad close to their hearts and
cared for him. This was truly care from the heart and not just simply care in the sense of his daily needs. Unfortunately, the wretched Covid19 prevented us from spending any time with Dad in the home beyond the prescribed visiting area, but Fairway Views social media page consistently gave us an insight into how he was spending his days. He obviously ate like a king and enjoyed various forms of activities, including some fabulous outside entertainment. There's no doubt that despite the deterioration in his mixed dementia, he was engaged and happy. For the care that Dad was given, I'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Fairway View. My frustration at the pace of reacting to C-19 developments is now long forgotten.

My 92-year-old aunt has been living at Fairway View since the end of January this year. My aunt was looking for company and TLC after the restrictions of living at home on her own due to Covid. She soon settled in with the care and support of the staff. She tells me often how kind, patient and caring
the staff all are. How the food is delicious and plentiful and that there is always something planned to keep residents entertained, even with restrictions.
We are very fortunate to have found Fairway View they truly are outstanding.

My lovely Mum had been a resident of Fairway View for more than 5 years. During that time she was lovingly cared for by the staff, who had a great rapport with her and looked after her the way she would have wanted. At the end of March, she suffered a stroke and was cared for until the end of her life
in April. The care she (and I) received was wonderful and she died peacefully and beautifully cared for. The staff also cared for me during what was a very difficult time and I will always be grateful for making her final days a good memory for me. She was always happy in Fairway View and the staff became like family, particularly during the Covid lockdown when we were unable to visit. I shall miss all the staff and residents because Fairway View is such a lovely place to be. It is always spotlessly clean and smells lovely and the staff do so much to give the residents enjoyment and fun. Thank you to everyone at Fairway View for all your kindness over the years.

Dad moved into the care home in January 2020. We were impressed by the cleanliness and decor of the home, the size and quality of the individual bedrooms. Dad was made to feel welcome straight away and settled in very quickly, comparing it to a top hotel. Dad has thrived by being in the company of the
lovely staff and other residents, and through the regular activities provided. He is very happy and extremely well-fed and cared for. The staff are special people who show dad kindness and respect. We know he is in the very best of hands, and are extremely grateful for the peace of mind this brings us.

Alison has a customer service background and joined Fairway View as Front of House Manager in 2016. She has personal experience of a relative living in a care home and feels that she can use this to help others in a similar situation.


She is dedicated and enthusiastic about her role, and about the home, and enjoys building strong relationships with the residents and their visitors. Alison works closely with the Home Manager and Regional Activities Executive to ensure there is always something fun going on at Fairway View, why not pop in to meet everyone and join in with one of the exciting activities?
