Mum has been a resident at Fairway View for about a year, and in that time, I have found the staff to be caring, kind and dedicated. Nothing is too much trouble, and the staff work together to form a very strong team. I have no hesitation in recommending this home.

Thank you to everyone for looking after my relative so well.
We have just come back from a drive-through visit - she was inside Fairway View, we stayed outside and spoke to her. She had had her nails done and looked very smart. She told us that she had enjoyed our visit.
At difficult times like
this, it’s nice to know that she is happy, settled and well. Thank you all again, especially two members of staff who always are so helpful and happy.

We moved mum here from another care home. From the first hours, we were impressed by the care which was given efficiently but also crucially and sensitivity. There are systems in place to ensure the best possible physical care which as a retired senior NHS manager I find reassuring. However, most importantly
mum is demonstrably treated as a "person". There are no reservations about care here. Excellent home.

Fabulous care home. Very friendly staff and very happy residents. Our auntie has settled in beautifully, she continues to gain weight because she enjoys the lovely food, especially the puddings. In our view - one of the best care homes in the area; can highly recommend, always a happy atmosphere.

My mum has been in Fairway View for about five years now. The care she has received from day one has been excellent. The last two years she has been bedridden due to ill health. All the staff at the care home look after her so well. When I leave after a visit to see her, I know I don't have to worry
about her. I can't praise the staff enough.

The staff at Fairway View are very helpful, friendly and caring. We recently had Mum's birthday party and the staff were very helpful with holding the party at the home. We felt welcome and photographs of the event were also provided afterwards.

Fairway View is an outstanding care home. Staff are very helpful. Residents are very well looked after, residents look busy with activities. My father joined Fairway View early September and it was the hardest thing I ever had to do. Two months on my dad looks well, is eating very well and has gained
three and a half kilos in weight.

Fairway View Care Home is the best I have seen, very welcoming. Staff are very friendly, nice lounge/dining area, good choice of meals, very clean, doesn't have a smell. Wide passageways to bedrooms. Bedrooms are a very good size with fitted wardrobe, dressing table, chest of drawers, TV and fridge.
There is a good size bathroom with shower. They have activities twice a day if they want to join in. Good outdoor area. Guests are allowed to stay and have a meal with their relatives (must book before you arrive). The hairdresser comes every week, this is included in the price.

Fairway View care home is excellent compared to other homes I've visited. The surroundings and decor are very clean and tidy, the home is well looked after, big windows upstairs give it a very airy feeling, meals are good and the choice is varied, tea served during the day with biscuits and cake, you
can even make yourself a cup of tea. They have activities daily and trips out for residents. The management and staff are lovely, nothing is too much trouble, any problem the staff will sort it out and report back to you as soon as possible. Thank you so much for the care you give mum.

My friend of more than 60 years became a resident at Fairway View just after Christmas 2017. Since then, I have visited her every week. I have been very impressed with the friendly, helpful, thoughtful staff and the variety of weekly activities. My friend has dementia so conversation can be limited
and sometimes very confused, but she is mobile and likes to be active. She has always been very good at flower arranging which is encouraged by the staff and she is given opportunities to do this. She has always been good with young children and recently has been taken, with others, to a local nursery. According to the staff, my friend is a star at reading to and with the children and both enjoy it. I have joined in some of the exercise sessions and the monthly Holy Communication, both of which she enjoys, especially the hymn singing. Staff encourage each resident to do and enjoy as much as possible within their limits. It is good to see so many enjoying the provided entertainment and singing, even getting up to dance. Given her mental impairment, my friend could not be in a better place for her physical, spiritual and leisure needs.

My relative (Godmother) has lived at Fairway View for nearly a year and is very settled which is entirely due to the care she receives. The staff treat all the residents with such kindness and humour and frequently take the time (difficult at times) just to be with them and chat.

Mum's fear of leaving home was soon put at rest on meeting the staff at Fairway View. She loved every day of her ten days. She talks about her pampering day with a big smile and having her hair washed, thoroughly enjoyed her bath as opposed to a shower. Her fear of falling out of a single bed rapidly
disappeared because a bed rail was provided and she was overall happy with everything else.

Alison has a customer service background and joined Fairway View as Front of House Manager in 2016. She has personal experience of a relative living in a care home and feels that she can use this to help others in a similar situation.


She is dedicated and enthusiastic about her role, and about the home, and enjoys building strong relationships with the residents and their visitors. Alison works closely with the Home Manager and Regional Activities Executive to ensure there is always something fun going on at Fairway View, why not pop in to meet everyone and join in with one of the exciting activities?
