Great service from staff towards relatives and residents. Dad is always looked after really well. The staff and manager are always there to answer queries and very understanding.

I have no complaints with the staff, the home or the food. The room is clean and comfortable and the staff are all very friendly and pleasant.

Mam resided at Alexandra View for the last 10 years until she passed away on 28th January 2022. Throughout her time at the home, she was treated with dignity and respect and never wanted for anything as the staff cared for Mam excellently. She classed all staff as her extended family. I can't thank
the staff and the manager enough for making Mam's final days peaceful and giving Mam dignity and love till the end.

This care home is poorly run. If you ring them prepare to wait, when you speak to someone, they might not even know the person you are asking about. Property goes missing, even down to teeth. My mam spent four short weeks here, was not looked after properly, thankfully she was taken into hospital,
where the staff were fabulous. We as a family were not informed of anything till it was too late. Getting my mam's belongings back is hard enough without coming across unironed clothing, dirty clothing, even hot water bottles still with water in them. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Everything is excellent, very understanding, helpful. I know my mam is well cared for. The staff go beyond the call of duty and the manager is lovely and cares as do the staff for all the residents. Nothing is too much trouble and the care is lovely. I would recommend highly. Very comfortable and nice
surroundings, always staff about to help. Can't praise enough.

My mother was recently in Alexandra View for a two week period - the worst two weeks of her life. The lack of staff and attitude of those that were present was disgraceful. Phones not being answered when you call to ask how she was doing, or if they were, promises made for callbacks not kept. Mother
unable to have a visitor - despite Covid restrictions being lifted. Staff not meeting her needs - still waiting for coffee/teas that were requested. Request made for podiatry service not met. Food disgusting, clothing not washed. Also saw a visitor being asked to take a lateral flow test in the lobby where others were waiting - but there were inadequate facilities to do so.

My husband has been under the care of Alexandra View Care Centre since July 2014. Although through this time there have been many managers the staff have always maintained the highest standards of care, they treat all residents as if they were members of their own family. They extend their care also
to myself.

My overall experience at Alexandra View Care Centre was a very pleasant one. I was treated with dignity and respect at all times. All staff were always available to help with any support I needed.
