Overall Experience

I visit my father-in-law on a regular basis, the manager is always so warm and welcoming whenever I visit they are always doing different activities. The staff at Life Care really do care. The home always smells lovely. I think this is important for a care home. The staff really do care and treat the residents like their family. There are always lots of fun things going on. Thank you so much.

I have been absolutely delighted with the standard of care and kindness my mother has received. You can tell the staff really like my mother - and the other residents. The health care support, too, is on the ball - excellent. They try to stimulate and encourage the residents to do things and take part in activities. The manager and deputy are approachable and encourage feedback of any type. Huge thank you. It has changed my life to see Mum happy!

I have lived in this care home for over five years, and I am very happy. We all have a buzzer to call for help when required. The carers here are very polite and attentive. We have an activities lady who helps us to keep our minds and bodies active. The food provided is very nourishing, and we always get a choice. We all have our own rooms and possessions.

I can not praise the efforts enough of the new home manager and deputy manager for turning Life Care around. They have made a massive difference to the residents, families and staff. Everyone is so friendly and more approachable giving a lovely atmosphere when visiting my relative.
Well done to all the staff and everyone and thank you all for your hard work.

Wish the new managers had been brought in much quicker. I hope Life Care get a better CQC report now as with the efforts and all the improvements they deserve outstanding.
