Charing House Care & Nursing Home

My dad has been living at Charing House for several years and from day one I've been so happy we chose them. It's modern, well maintained and clean. All the staff carers, housekeepers etc. are exceptional and give there all whilst looking after my dad and others living there. The chefs have always cooked great meals for him with lots of choice being offered and lots of teas and coffees are offered throughout the day.

I and my family feel extremely fortunate that our mum is at Charing House. At first we didn't know what to expect as we have never had a family member go into a care home, however it became apparent very quickly that she was being looking after well. There is a very homely feel to Charing House and the layout of her bedroom and bathroom suits her well and the staff encourage her to take part in the activities and entertainment arranged.

My mum has resided at Charing House for some time now and I can say with great confidence that she is being looked after very well. The staff are brilliant and take care of all her medication, laundry, diet etc. very well. The dining room and lounge areas are clean and the activities team offer a good range of activities which keeps everyone entertained and interacting with each other.

Charing House has a very homely atmosphere about it and does truly feel like a home from home. The staff always do there best to care for my mother which at times isn't easy due to her care requirements but they are always very patient and ensure she gets the care she needs. The food always looks appetising and her clothes are kept neat and tidy.

Whenever I've visited my mum at Charing House she always looks well cared for. The staff are very caring and approachable, should I have any queries about how my mum is getting on I'd have no hesitation in speaking to the managers knowing that they'd be able to sort things out which gives me great confidence. My mum's room is kept clean and tidy and the staff make sure mum eats and drinks enough.

the care and support my mother receives at Charing House is amazing. the care and attention the staff show her and other is second to none. They have looked after my mother for sometime now and I can safely say i've always been happy with the care she has received. There is always plenty to eat and drink as well as lots going on with activities.

My Dad has been at Charing House for some time now and still from day one the care he receives is amazing. All the staff go above and beyond to help support my father and others living there. My Dad participates in many of the activities, the home is clean and his room is warm.

Having to find and put my mother into a care home was one of the hardest things I've had to do, however from the moment we got mum settled in I knew we made the right decision. All the staff have been polite and friendly towards her and she has made many friends during her time at Charing House. The food is tasty and the manager is always around for a catch up.

Each time I visit my Mum she seems happy and content. I've always been impressed with the friendliness and professionalism the staff have shown, not only to my Mum but also to others living at Charing House. Mum joins in the with the activities and has been eating much better since moving in. I'd have no hesitation recommending Charing House to anyone.

The staff at Charing House have always been courteous and polite towards myself and father who has resided there for just over a year. My father's health conditions can make things tricky, however nothing ever seems too much effort for them and have always gone above and beyond. My father joins in with the activities organised and the meals served are visually appealing and appetising.

Charing House is a very personable care home. The staff are great with helping my mother with her care and are always so respectful towards her. Her room is presentable with my mother's clothes put away nicely and the food is excellent. I have nothing but compliments and praise to everyone who works at Charing House, thank you all.

Charing House's standard of care is very high. The staff are friendly, approachable and frequently go above and beyond to make my mothers and others living there feel at home. The move into Charing House has socially done wonders for my mother as she enjoys many of the activities put on as well as there being other friendly residents to talk to.

My dad has been at Charing House Care and Nursing Home for 6 months now and I can safely say the care he receives is second to none. The staff are exceptionally kind and caring with nothing ever being too much bother. His room is lovely, it has en-suite facilities and the kitchen does a great job with the food they produce.

My mother has been a resident at Charing House Care and Nursing Home for sometime now and I can't express how thankful I am for the care they give her. The staff can't do enough, they are caring and kind towards my mother for which I am immensely grateful and the manager since day one has been amazing. My mother's room is always clean and the food is well cooked and plentiful. Would highly recommend Charing House.

The staff at Charing House have been so supportive to myself and my mother since she was admitted. It was never an easy decision for my mother to move into a care home, however it ended up being the right one. The staff are fantastic and support her with her care needs and since moving in I have noticed her physical and social health improve. The care home is safe, warm and there are a lot of activities taking place.

Having my mum at Charing House is a big relief and a great comfort knowing that she is being so well cared for. The staff are brilliant, they are attentive, caring and have always communicated with myself well about my mother's well-being. Her room is kept clean and her clothing is well looked after and put away near and tidy.

My sister died alone at this care home. I requested on numerous occasions to be contacted if there was even the slightest deterioration in her health and they didn't contact me until nearly 30 minutes after she died alone despite the timeline I'm being given showing they had ample time to. I asked for an investigation which although completed was contradictory in its replies and didn't satisfactorily address any of the concerns raised. Every email sent has needed to be followed up weeks later requesting a reply and the staff member on firmly when I attended after my sisters' death just seemed disinterested and unbothered by the entire situation. Would never recommend this facility.

My Mum is well cared for at Charing House Care and Nursing Home. The manager and staff are amazing, whenever I pop in to see her she is happy and well dressed. The home is lovely with there being a nice garden area and her room is spacious and clean. There are plenty of activities going on within the home which is lovely to see.

The staff are fantastic at Charing House. My father is looked after superbly well and with the utmost care. I cannot thank the staff enough. There are a lot of activities put on, and all residents are encouraged to join in, and the food is good with there being plenty of drinks and snacks throughout the day.
