Charing House Care & Nursing Home

I am so grateful to all the staff and manager at Charing House. My Mum has settled in so well and I'm pleased she is now in safe and professional care. My mum's health and well being have greatly improved since she arrived at Charing House, she is eating well and is interacting with others. The facilities are very clean and there are wonderful communal areas for all residents and their visitors to relax in.

The standard of care at Charing House is admirable. Whilst being a large care home, it is divided up into separate wings, which makes it feel very homely. The staff that look after my mother are all knowledgeable, well-trained and caring. The activities are engaging, and there is a fantastic outside garden area in which my mother and others enjoy spending time in.

My mum suffers from dementia and can be challenging at times however the care staff are very patient with her and give her the time she needs which I am grateful for. They do lots of activities which everyone is encouraged to take part in and there is a nice outdoor garden area. The food is well made with lots of variety and the home is clean.

The staff at Charing House are very experienced and professional, providing fantastic care for my mum. They treat her with dignity and respect, nothing is ever too much bother and there is always someone around should I have any questions. There is always something going on within Charing House whether it be activities, entertainers etc. and the food is delicious.

The staff at Charing House are very friendly and caring, I can’t fault the care and compassion they have shown my father. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending this home to anyone looking for a care home for a loved one. The home is kept clean, the food is good and there are plenty of activities put on.

I am very happy with the care my Mum is getting at Charing House care home. The manager is always available to chat and all the staff are very friendly. Charing House is kept spotlessly clean and the activities staff do a wonderful job in sorting out games, puzzles etc. for my Mum and others to get involved with.

I’ve found the staff and management to be very polite and approachable at Charing House, nothing ever seems too much trouble and I’m given regular updates on how Mum is getting on with her health and day-to-day living. The home is bright and clean and has a lovely garden which is enjoyed by my mother and others.

I couldn’t have been happier with the choice I made by choosing Charing House Care & Nursing Home to look after my mother. Charing House is a very well-run care home with incredibly committed and caring staff. The atmosphere of the home is peaceful but vibrant and is clean throughout.

The staff at Charing House all deserve so much praise for the work they do. They are supportive and attentive towards my father, for which I am truly grateful for. The home is well run, with it being kept clean, and entertainment and activities are put on for everyone to take part in.

We must thank all the staff for looking after our mum so well for the last eleven years. She sadly passed away at the beginning of April and we were so pleased that the last years of her life were spent in such a lovely environment with caring staff to look after her. Her family recommend Charing House Care & Nursing Home to anyone looking for residential care for a loved one.

Charing House is a lovely home. The staff are very helpful and attentive in caring for my dad and can see from when I visit him that he is happy there. The facilities are great with there being lovely rooms and lots of outdoor space. I would highly recommend Charing House Care Home.

During my mum's time at Charing House Care & Nursing Home I have found the staff to be exceptional in all areas of care they provide to her. Management are always around and happy to chat, should I have any questions about my mum's care, and when I visit I've always found Charing House to be clean and tidy.

It is lovely when I visit my father, to see how well he is being looked after. The staff are very caring and have gotten to know him very well during his time at Charing House and know when I go home that he is in safe hands. Charing House employs an activity coordinator who does a great job in organising events and activities, which my father enjoys and takes part in. Thank you, everyone.

Charing House Care & Nursing Home is a wonderful place to live. The management and staff are excellent and do everything they can to make sure my mum is being well cared for and have nothing but praise for them for the work they do. Her bedroom and communal spaces are well kept, clean and there is a lovely secure garden area which is nice during the warmer weather.

The staff at Charing House Care & Nursing Home are exceptional and have left no doubt in my mind that I chose the right care home for my mother and have shown nothing but dignity and respect towards her. Charing House takes care of everything, her meals, laundry and medication, nothing is too much trouble. Her room is well furnished and kept tidy and when I have visited the staff are very friendly and welcoming towards me.

My partner passed away on the 4th of April at Charing House. But the care she received was first-class. Thank you for all you did for my partner.

Charing House Care & Nursing Home has met all my expectations and more. The staff are compassionate, friendly and have built up a good relationship with my father. The care home is kept clean and the activities staff do a really good job in creating a pleasant atmosphere with games and music for my father and other residents. The food is excellent and the management are accessible if and when I have any questions about my father's health.

I found it very difficult having to look for a care home for my dad, it wasn’t easy trying to find a care home which could give him the care he needed. However, after looking at many care homes I decided that Charing House Care & Nursing Home was the best place for him. The staff at Charing House are very kind, caring and I am confident that he is in the best place he possibly can be. He enjoys the company of the other residents and the home is clean and activities are provided on a daily basis.

The care my father receives at Charing House Care & Nursing Home is of the highest quality and I’ve been very impressed with how the staff interact and care for him. They all show such compassion towards my father I can’t praise them enough. My father's room is kept clean, washing taken care of and a variety of activities and entertainment takes place, there is also a lovely secluded outdoor garden area which my father and other residents enjoy. I couldn’t have wished to have chosen a better care home for my father to be cared by. Thank you all.
