I have worked in care for 12 years, starting as a care assistant, becoming a senior care assistant, and then completing my CHAPS (care home advanced practitioner) training before becoming a deputy manager. I have managed small learning disabilities homes in Wolverhampton, before deciding that I wanted to come back to working in elderly care and dementia care, which I am really passionate about.
I love my residents and I love working for Sanctuary Care. This is the best care home and care provider I have worked for.
I have worked at Highcroft Hall since the home opened 12 years ago - love cooking and I love working for the residents.
I love speaking to the residents and helping them. I am passionate about helping them to have a clean environment to live in.
I love how rewarding it is to work in care.
I love my job, and when I go home I am happy knowing I have made our residents smile. I love organising events at home to keep the residents entertained, so they don’t miss home.
