After much ongoing problems, management finally managed to fix the light in my mother's bedroom. They were very helpful and supportive while dealing with the matter. I was extremely pleased when my mother's bedroom light was finally repaired. I then approached staff to show my full appreciation.

As an 'active' visitor of the elderly visiting in the hospital, nursing care home and supported living, I was struck by the ambiance and homely atmosphere. In addition; the high level of cleanliness and personal touch and respect which is shown to residents. This has really had an impact on me.

The home is always welcoming. The staff are always very pleasant and work extremely hard to maintain the homes standards. The facilities/activities are really good. My mother is very contented and well looked after and all her needs are met. On a more personal note the manager and his team are aware of a minor family issue and have been really supportive and understanding of this. Many thanks to all the staff (including caterers and domestics) for their continued ongoing care of my mother. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Highcroft Hall in the future.

My Nan is very well looked after in Highcroft Hall and is very content. The staff are pleasant and assist my Nan in every way. The home is very clean and welcoming. The activities are varied and plentiful, even though my Nan doesn't partake in all of them. My Nan says that "All the staff are nice to her and that there is always plenty to eat". My Mum and the rest of the family, have got peace of mind that she is looked after so well, as her dementia status can be challenging. Thank you to all concerned.

I'm the eldest daughter and previous to my mother's placement at Highcroft Hall my sister, brother and myself looked after mom daily from her dementia diagnosis till her arrival at Highcroft Hall where the staff have taken over our roles to our great satisfaction and appreciation which we cannot thank the staff enough. Mom is extremely happy and contented and that's what matters to us.

I have to say the staff at Highcroft Hall are very good you can ask them questions about the mother in law and they will answer to the best of their ability and if not sure will get someone else who has been with her on that day to tell me how she is doing, which I find most helpful because I can't get there every day because of work, so I'm happy to leave my mother in law in their capable hands- doing a fine job.

No issues or complaints at all! Awesome, amazing, friendly, positive, happy, comfortable, hotel welcoming, caring, smiley, feels great, smells great, looks great and delivers from the first second of parking to entering to being greeted was OUTSTANDING! So friendly and understanding and helpful. The staff, facilities, actions, activities and just everything was brilliant, I loved the place immediately and felt at home, so did mum after being wrenched from house in Leeds after falls and fractured spine in (my house). Highcroft made her mental state transform from being wheelchair bound, hoisted person for four months in hospital to happy positive person who walked! out back to independent sheltered housing. Excellent! Thank you so much !!!

Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the rooms. Bed linen had not been changed in three weeks. Fridge not cleaned.

Reply from Andrew Greenway, Home Manager at Highcroft Hall Residential Care Home

I am really sorry to hear you are not happy with the cleanliness of the home, however our residents’ bedrooms are hoovered and cleaned daily, with bed linen changed at least once every two days. The rooms are also deep cleaned every month. If you would like to discuss this with me directly you are more than welcome to.
