I have been with Hagley Place for Six years I originally came as a Head of Unit in the nursing community. I am passionate about the Memory Lane Community and in 2018 was awarded the ’Barchester Dementia Champion’.
Supporting the team is a big part of my role and helping to build a strong team to deliver kind and compassionate care. The best part of my role is knowing that I can make a difference.
I have been in the healthcare sector for 15 years, having first started as a kitchen assistant in a previous nursing home. I then worked up to senior HCA before doing my nursing degree. During the 15 years, I have worked across many types of healthcare settings and have over 10 years of experience in nursing homes. I previously worked at Telford PRH in the acute medical unit as a band 5 RGN. I have a real passion for quality care and am a Dementia Friends Champion.
I have been night manager at Hagley Place since 2019 and prior to that I was head of unit for the frail nursing community. I am very proud of the team we have at Hagley Place and the care we deliver. Being a nurse is a very rewarding role and I am grateful to be able to practice the role I love in such a joyous environment.
Since joining Hagley Place I’ve loved being involved with the residents and getting to know them and their stories. I enjoy the variety of my role and the fact that no two days are ever the same. The genuine care and respect shown to all residents and staff provide such an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere. I visited my mum here for two years whilst she was in care, and today it still feels like coming home.
Monica joined the home in 2024 and quickly made an impact on our residents and staff with her knowledge and dedication. I have been nursing for many years and worked with several nursing agencies to support dozens of nursing homes. When I first worked at Hagley Place it felt like coming home. When I was offered a full-time position I jumped at it, the love and care all of the team here show to their residents is heart-warming and I am so proud to be a part of it.

Hi, my name is Tracy and I am the Head of Maintenance at Hagley Place. I have been here since November 2019. I am passionate about creating a beautiful environment for the residents to enjoy. I have made many changes in the time I have been here working alongside the residents and families. In my spare time, I love to walk my dogs and often bring them in to see the residents.
I started this role in February 2023 and prior to this, I have worked in senior care roles since leaving school. I got into care as I hold a strong passion for caring for people and my new role as Activities Co-Ordinator allows me to further help enrich the lives of those within our care home.
