I have always said if and when the case maybe I would like to be able to afford to come here!

Staff are very friendly and caring. Always noticeable in the coffee lounge how caring the staff are to the residents they are looking after. Delicious cakes and beverages homemade as well!

I have found Admiral Court to be a happy and caring home, my friend has stayed in several care homes for respite over the years, but none compare to this one. The staff are caring and often go above the call of duty and nothing is too much trouble. They have regular entertainment and the residents often enjoy a dance and sing song. Admiral Court is also very supportive and welcoming to anybody who comes to visit. There is always a plentiful supply of hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes and biscuits in the coffee lounge, with hairdresser, chiropodist, physio etc all available. This is a care home I would have no hesitation recommending.

My mother was at Admiral Court for three and a half years. She was so well cared for until sadly she passed away. It was so sad seeing her bedridden.

Mum had a very happy 3 1/2 years at Admiral Court before she died in August 2016 and always felt it was her home. The staff and facilities were excellent, and she especially loved her room with its bright colours. Particularly over the last few months, as her dementia and health worsened, the staff love and care for her, and the positive atmosphere whenever brother, sister or I visited made a difficult time more bearable. We will all keep many happy memories of her time at Admiral Court, with lots of laughter and smiles. Thank you so much!

I have visited my elderly aunt here during the past few months. Everyone is very pleasant and helpful and aunty is well looked after. Despite being 100 years old she does not suffer from dementia and, the only downside of being at Admiral Court is that there are not many residents with whom she can have meaningful conversations. Therefore, she is very dependent on visitors for a 'chat'. Aunty has always enjoyed her food and continues to do so at Admiral Court.

The home is welcoming, modern and accommodating in every way. Staff go out of their way to ensure your relative is happy and well cared for. I have never doubted our decision to put my grandfather here and appreciate all that is done to make him feel at home. It is such a relief to have complete confidence in residential care for a loved one.

Care home is the best we have experienced in Kent or Essex. It is bright pleasant surroundings. Residents are treated with dignity and respect. We particularly like the coffee lounge and that residents and visitors are able to mix and converse together. Staff are welcoming and friendly and patient.

Nursing carers - my main criticism is lack of continuity. My husband needs a lot of nursing and no sooner does a carer become really good at caring for him than they are promoted or leave and we then start again with a novice. Some carers are more skilled at nursing than others but all have been kind and pleasant. Food - generally very nice but the potatoes, bread and pastry dishes and more red meat, green veg and fruit would be good. Rooms- nicely furnished and could be very attractive if some carers kept things tidy and made the bed soonest!

Thank you for your comments. Admiral Court has been holding a series of recruitment days which has resulted in us building a strong team of experienced carers and nurses who are assigned to specific teams and we are aiming for better continuity for the residents. We have extended the induction...

My mother is quite challenging and her needs are high. She is treated with kindness and respect by all the staff at Admiral Court. The care home is spotlessly clean and the staff are all very nice. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is served in various dining rooms and the quality is excellent. Menus are changed bi-weekly and the options are plentiful and the food is all home made. There are lots of activities/outings if residents wish to participate. Five stars!

Since my dad has been here the staff have worked hard to settle home. Every staff member have been kind and caring and all are approachable. The environment is very nice and the general atmosphere is always positive. I'm impressed by the number of activities offered and the cleverly landscaped grounds. I know my dad is in the best possible hands whilst I am working in London.

With over 25 years in social care, I’m proud to be General Manager at Admiral Court Care Home, where my passion for care truly comes to life.

I joined Hallmark after being inspired by its focus on living well with dementia — and I’ve never looked back. Every day is different, filled with teamwork, energy, and purpose. I love supporting others to grow, creating a happy and safe home for residents and staff alike. Outside work, I enjoy time with my family, travelling, swimming, and relaxing with a good film and a glass of wine.

Kay Palmer
Kay PalmerJob Title:Customer Relationship Manager

I am very humbled to have a job where I get to help families and loved ones on their journey in making a very difficult decision to come into care, easier.

I always wanted to make a positive difference in someone’s life, even if just a little, being a Customer Relationship Manager helps me do this every day. Taking a little of the emotional burden they are feeling away, but most of all letting them know they are not alone and I am here to walk that journey with them, side by side.

To make a difference to someone’s life is a truly special position to be in. My job enables me to do this every day. I love what I do.
