I have visited my elderly aunt here during the past few months. Everyone is very pleasant and helpful and aunty is well looked after. Despite being 100 years old she does not suffer from dementia and, the only downside of being at Admiral Court is that there are not many residents with whom she can
have meaningful conversations. Therefore, she is very dependent on visitors for a 'chat'. Aunty has always enjoyed her food and continues to do so at Admiral Court.

The home is welcoming, modern and accommodating in every way. Staff go out of their way to ensure your relative is happy and well cared for. I have never doubted our decision to put my grandfather here and appreciate all that is done to make him feel at home. It is such a relief to have complete confidence

Always find everyone happy and helpful (staff). Residents always very clean, plenty going on to keep residents busy. Food is good, our friend enjoys our company she is always involved in the activities. They have good shows on at times which we have stayed to watch.

Care home is the best we have experienced in Kent or Essex. It is bright pleasant surroundings. Residents are treated with dignity and respect. We particularly like the coffee lounge and that residents and visitors are able to mix and converse together. Staff are welcoming and friendly and patient.

Nursing carers - my main criticism is lack of continuity. My husband needs a lot of nursing and no sooner does a carer become really good at caring for him than they are promoted or leave and we then start again with a novice. Some carers are more skilled at nursing than others but all have been kind
and pleasant. Food - generally very nice but the potatoes, bread and pastry dishes and more red meat, green veg and fruit would be good. Rooms- nicely furnished and could be very attractive if some carers kept things tidy and made the bed soonest!

Thank you for your comments. Admiral Court has been holding a series of recruitment days which has resulted in us building a strong team of experienced carers and nurses who are assigned to specific teams and we are aiming for better continuity for the residents. We have extended the induction period for new team members and have increased the opportunities for training so that everyone is able to meet the needs of the residents appropriately. Our Head Chef involves residents and family in the development of new menus and always welcomes feedback and new ideas. If a resident asks for a particular meal or food item then we will do our best to prepare that for them.

My mother is quite challenging and her needs are high. She is treated with kindness and respect by all the staff at Admiral Court. The care home is spotlessly clean and the staff are all very nice. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is served in various dining rooms and the quality is excellent.
Menus are changed bi-weekly and the options are plentiful and the food is all home made. There are lots of activities/outings if residents wish to participate. Five stars!

Since my dad has been here the staff have worked hard to settle home. Every staff member have been kind and caring and all are approachable. The environment is very nice and the general atmosphere is always positive. I'm impressed by the number of activities offered and the cleverly landscaped grounds.
I know my dad is in the best possible hands whilst I am working in London.

Our friend has been a resident for about 18 months and in that time she has been well cared for. Our friends vascular dementia has not been too obvious and she is, with carers help, able to enjoy life and the various outings.

Generally I am very pleased with Admiral Court although I do have reservations with some of the contract/agency staff who do not understand individual needs quite so much.

Mostly my mother is well cared for but our wishes are not always acted on regarding her dressing. We have noticed in her room advising "what (my mother) likes" and these are sometimes completely ignored!!!

Mother feels safe, happy and secure. Home is beautiful. Staff are amazing. Gives family peace of mind that our mother is in the best place and is safe and well cared for to the standard we would provide if at home. Feels like home and we always feel welcome. Dad has been a resident of Admiral Court for ten months and our whole family have been very impressed with the care he has received. He is treated with respect and sensitivity, due to a veteran of WW2. He is allowed to do what he wants with no pressure - stay in his room or join in on activities. He
enjoys the food and has put on weight since arriving. We hope he will stay at Admiral court in the rest of his days and continue to receive their expert care.
