The facilities at the home are fantastic. Day rooms, cinema, dining rooms, bathrooms and bedrooms are both spacious and very relaxing and pleasing. The exhibition room is most impressive by demonstrating the projects the residents are involved in and their artwork. The staff are all very professional,
friendly, welcoming and most of all caring.
The gardens are very well maintained and beautifully laid out, providing lovely short walks for the residents. Cleanliness in all area of the buildings and grounds are of a very high standard.

My mother in law was a resident for two years and four months at Admiral Court. As a family, we felt the last few months at Admiral Court did not meet the standards we expected and so we made the decision to remove my mother in law.
Reply from Hazel Joseph, General Manager at Hallmark Admiral CourtThank you for your comments. We are sorry to hear that your experience at Admiral Court was not at the level we aim to deliver. As you are aware we are currently in dialogue with you regarding this matter.

I have been volunteering at Admiral Court for two years now and I have loved every second of it. All members of staff are very friendly and calm and get on so well with the residents. There is never a dull day and every time I visit there are various activities going on, whether it be craft, games,
gardening, fitness, or a visit from farm animals! At Admiral Court, you can be sure that your loved ones are living in a happy and safe environment, which I feel lucky to be a part of.

I volunteered once a week at Admiral Court from Sept 2016 Feb 2017.

It was a fun and humbling experience, where I got to see and take part in the brilliant care and comfort given to the residents at Admiral Court.

I especially enjoyed the fun activities (e.g live music) that would be arranged

on Wednesday afternoons. It was so nice to see everyone enjoying themselves together.

At my time at Admiral Court, I felt there was always an atmosphere of positivity and I would always be greeted by smiles.

I would highly recommend this care home.

Lifestyle volunteer.
I have seen an endless amount of energy, inspiration and motivation to produce the activities from the team manager and the team overall.
Great care and thought are put into offering a varied and fun schedule that can appeal and interest most of the residents in some way.
Ranging
from the ordinary daily life things we all take for granted, but to the residents giving the opportunity to participate in that ordinary daily life, to the extraordinary large events that the whole family can enjoy and share together.
The scope of participation and personal interests of each individual resident is considered carefully and the activities are matched accordingly, by doing so the activities team can reach most residents at some time during the day and across the week.
The activities encourage social togetherness, stimulate creativity, having fun and one to one interaction.
It is great to see the care team also play a part in this, when there is time from their duties.

My year of volunteering at Admiral Court was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I greatly miss it. All the staff are so lovely and welcoming and I never once met a resident that was at all unhappy. There were always activities going on and although I was only there for a short time,
I was made to feel part of what is a very special family and I couldn’t fault it if I tried. Thank you, everyone, at Admiral Court for making my time there so memorable!

Mum settled well. Cannot fault the care given to Mum. Have found all the staff extremely helpful and caring.

Our mum has lived at Admiral Court for nearly three years and the care she has received during this time has been second to none. Her quality of life and well being has improved beyond measure. The carers treat her with the utmost respect and all the staff at Admiral Court, reception, cleaning, laundry,
hairdresser are always so welcoming and friendly. Admiral Court has given us the peace of mind that our mum is in a safe, secure environment where she is happy and well cared for.

Admiral Court and the staff here have been wonderful to mum and us. It's the hardest thing to put someone you love into care, but they took the time to help mum settle and a year later she is happy, as are we.

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.803)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.803) out of 10 for Hallmark Admiral Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 16 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 16 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.903 for Hallmark Admiral Court is calculated as follows: ( (169 Excellents x 5) + (16 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 186 Ratings = 4.903
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.9 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Hallmark Admiral Court is based on 16 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 60 registered maximum number of service users is 12, which has been reached with 16 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Customer Relationship Manager

I am very humbled to have a job where I get to help families and loved ones on their journey in making a very difficult decision to come into care, easier.

I always wanted to make a positive difference in someone’s life, even if just a little, being a Customer Relationship Manager helps me do this every day. Taking a little of the emotional burden they are feeling away, but most of all letting them know they are not alone and I am here to walk that journey with them, side by side.

To make a difference to someone’s life is a truly special position to be in. My job enables me to do this every day. I love what I do.
