I have been volunteering at Admiral Court for two years now and I have loved every second of it. All members of staff are very friendly and calm and get on so well with the residents. There is never a dull day and every time I visit there are various activities going on, whether it be craft, games,
gardening, fitness, or a visit from farm animals! At Admiral Court, you can be sure that your loved ones are living in a happy and safe environment, which I feel lucky to be a part of.

I volunteered once a week at Admiral Court from Sept 2016 Feb 2017.


It was a fun and humbling experience, where I got to see and take part in the brilliant care and comfort given to the residents at Admiral Court.


I especially enjoyed the fun activities (e.g live music) that would be arranged

on Wednesday afternoons. It was so nice to see everyone enjoying themselves together.


At my time at Admiral Court, I felt there was always an atmosphere of positivity and I would always be greeted by smiles.


I would highly recommend this care home.

Lifestyle volunteer.
I have seen an endless amount of energy, inspiration and motivation to produce the activities from the team manager and the team overall.
Great care and thought are put into offering a varied and fun schedule that can appeal and interest most of the residents in some way.
Ranging
from the ordinary daily life things we all take for granted, but to the residents giving the opportunity to participate in that ordinary daily life, to the extraordinary large events that the whole family can enjoy and share together.
The scope of participation and personal interests of each individual resident is considered carefully and the activities are matched accordingly, by doing so the activities team can reach most residents at some time during the day and across the week.
The activities encourage social togetherness, stimulate creativity, having fun and one to one interaction.
It is great to see the care team also play a part in this, when there is time from their duties.

My year of volunteering at Admiral Court was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I greatly miss it. All the staff are so lovely and welcoming and I never once met a resident that was at all unhappy. There were always activities going on and although I was only there for a short time,
I was made to feel part of what is a very special family and I couldn’t fault it if I tried. Thank you, everyone, at Admiral Court for making my time there so memorable!

Mum settled well. Cannot fault the care given to Mum. Have found all the staff extremely helpful and caring.

Our mum has lived at Admiral Court for nearly three years and the care she has received during this time has been second to none. Her quality of life and well being has improved beyond measure. The carers treat her with the utmost respect and all the staff at Admiral Court, reception, cleaning, laundry,
hairdresser are always so welcoming and friendly. Admiral Court has given us the peace of mind that our mum is in a safe, secure environment where she is happy and well cared for.

Admiral Court and the staff here have been wonderful to mum and us. It's the hardest thing to put someone you love into care, but they took the time to help mum settle and a year later she is happy, as are we.

I have always said if and when the case maybe I would like to be able to afford to come here!
Staff are very friendly and caring. Always noticeable in the coffee lounge how caring the staff are to the residents they are looking after. Delicious cakes and beverages homemade as well!

Very friendly and efficient staff. Residents appear happy and well cared for. The accommodation is clean and well presented. Rooms, individual, very homely and I feel my friend is comfortable and at ease there. Excellent cafe with delicious cakes and a super coffee machine.

I have found Admiral Court to be a happy and caring home, my friend has stayed in several care homes for respite over the years, but none compare to this one. The staff are caring and often go above the call of duty and nothing is too much trouble. They have regular entertainment and the residents often
enjoy a dance and sing song. Admiral Court is also very supportive and welcoming to anybody who comes to visit. There is always a plentiful supply of hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes and biscuits in the coffee lounge, with hairdresser, chiropodist, physio etc all available. This is a care home I would have no hesitation recommending.

Mum had a very happy 3 1/2 years at Admiral Court before she died in August 2016 and always felt it was her home. The staff and facilities were excellent, and she especially loved her room with its bright colours. Particularly over the last few months, as her dementia and health worsened, the staff
love and care for her, and the positive atmosphere whenever brother, sister or I visited made a difficult time more bearable. We will all keep many happy memories of her time at Admiral Court, with lots of laughter and smiles. Thank you so much!
