The home gave my mother a great 85th Birthday party. They provided decorations and food. She has a fantastic time and really enjoyed it. This is just one example of how the home has made my mum feel welcomed and cared for. I couldn't hope for better.

The word 'care' is what happens at Woodchurch House. Right from management to cleaners, absolutely fantastic. I can recommend this house if anybody wants my opinion, brilliant. In my opinion, money doesn't come into it, but it's worth every penny.

Just like to say, first all, the staff on 3rd floor where my husband is and the office staff and management are very caring and helpful towards me. Got contact 24/7. Amazing, nothing too much trouble. All the food cooked fresh each day. My husband loves the homemade biscuits.

Our experience of Woodchurch House is overwhelmingly wonderful, very nervous at first about bringing my father-in-law into a nursing home as unsure what to expect but all our worries were put at rest. All Staff whether reception staff to caring staff are amazing, nothing is a trouble to them, they are helpful and brilliant with the residents whatever problems they have.

My grandmother was accepted by Woodchurch House for a short-term assessment of her care needs following a stroke. Sadly she passed away two and a half weeks later, and I'm so grateful that she passed in such comfortable surroundings, close to her home and not miles away on a hospital ward.
All the staff were exceptional and looked after her with care and kindness. They checked on her constantly and alerted us immediately of any changes in her condition.

Our experience of Woodchurch House was so very short and we didn't have the time to make full use of its facilities, but while we were there I could find no fault in any area and would be very happy to recommend them to others.

My friend who had advanced dementia was cared for by staff at Woodchurch House in an exemplary matter. I visited regularly with his wife and more recently by myself. The unit was always clean and tidy, my friend was always clean, smartly dressed, well cared for and happy. The staff are brilliant, hardworking and kind. His wife frequently told me that she was happy with the care that her husband received.

My Father passed away 02/06/23. We are yet 14/6/23 to be notified! Personally, I've had to call several local Funeral Directors to locate his body! Incompetence or unable you decide? For three years we mentioned our concern after regularly inquiring as to my Fathers's health and Medication requesting a qualified medical report. Something they promised but didn't provide or perhaps chose to ignore. We are left not only grieving but also deeply hurt and insulted. Therefore I can feel nothing but anger and concern towards the ignorance, arrogance and incompetence of this place. Have asked myself why so many managers have been "in place" here over the last three years? I conclude this perhaps to be one reason for the failing mechanisms in existence here. It is in my humble opinion, you would be very well advised to look elsewhere. One absolute disaster of a care Home. Very happy to be contacted if you should require a more detailed review with dates etc.

We made sincere efforts to contact the immediate family members using the contact information we had on file. Unfortunately, despite our attempts, we were unable to reach them, however, we did speak with a family friend who agreed to share the information with the other family members. We deeply...

My mother was fast asleep when we visited; we were reluctant to wake her up as it can make her grumpy. There was a fair amount of noise about, but nothing disturbed her. We spoke to the nurse, who was lovely and updated us on Mother's condition etc. We then saw a member of staff to collect some bits and pieces that had been sent to my mother but needed my attention. All in all, very happy.

The whole team are caring and supportive of both the resident and their family. The online relative portal is an amazing tool for relatives that are unable to visit. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to other families looking for a care facility for their loved ones.

I have been so impressed with the compassion, empathy and good common sense shown to my husband and I in our very difficult present circumstances. Woodchurch House Care Home is clearly very well able to cope with my husband and his challenging behaviour and gives me full confidence that he, and the other residents, are extremely well looked after. Thank you so much.

We attended the home following an emergency admission. Staff could not be more helpful, they rallied around to make sure that everything was in place. The room was impeccable and had everything that she needed. We were served cream tea which was delicious. My aunt has joined in with activities and the singer was brilliant. Everyone is so thoughtful from housekeepers to management. Thank you, Woodchurch House.

My father had an amazing time at Woodchurch House. He was very well cared for and all his needs were met. The staff treated him like he was their own family member. All departments go above and beyond. The food was fantastic. It's a very well maintained and clean environment.

We visited my dad when there was a BBQ. Oh my, what a great afternoon it was. The food was outstanding and the singer was fantastic. The staff worked very hard and the food and drink flowed. Our best part was the ice cream van, a good old-fashioned 99 with a flake! It was a brilliant time had and we hope to join in with another one soon, weather permitting. Thank you for a lovely time. Would recommend this home for your loved one.

My mum was so well cared for at Woodchurch House. The staff in all departments are amazing. They make you feel so welcome and part of the Woodchurch family. Nothing is ever too much. We very much enjoyed the BBQ that was put on for residents and relatives, it was a fantastic day. The food and entertainment were out of this world. Well done, Woodchurch House.

My mum came to Woodchurch House in January 2022 following a spell in the hospital. Mum was very much underweight and dehydrated on admission and was so very unwell. The nurses and the staff have worked incredibly hard and have supported, a huge weight increase via the dietician and the care of the staff. As a family, we cannot thank you enough for the care, dedication and effort. My mum is so happy and although she always said, do not put me in a care home, ever!, she actually loves it. Thank you to everyone.

I have visited Woodchurch House on several occasions to visit my friend. On every occasion, the home has been clean, fresh and light. All of the staff have been friendly, kind and helpful. There is a very warm atmosphere. On 18/08/2022, they held a BBQ for friends and family of residents. Such a happy day for all. Woodchurch House provides many activities for the residents with so much thought for a fun day. An excellent home for reassurance and care.

Dear Sarah,

Thank you for your kind words. It is always nice to hear from residents' friends feeling that their friend is cared for and looked after. We hope to continue providing your friend with the best possible care and we look forward to seeing you again. The BBQ was indeed a great day for all that attended, the ice cream van was my tipping point.

I am so glad we chose Woodchurch House for Mum. Her room is bright, spacious and kept beautifully clean by the cheerful cleaners. All staff, from management to carers, have taken time to really get to know Mum, finding out about her interests and her likes and dislikes. This really helped during the slightly tricky settling in period. Knowing that I can make contact with the nurses at any time of the day or night is so reassuring. When I had a couple of minor niggles, I found the manager to be very approachable and proactive in resolving them quickly. It has been a period of adjustment for us all as a family, but knowing that Mum is safe, well looked after and cared for, has made it easier. I don't hesitate to recommend Woodchurch House and can't thank all of the staff enough.

My partner has been at Woodchurch Nursing Home for nearly a year. On my visits to her, she is always happy and well cared for. Her room is spacious and always clean and tidy, as is the rest of the home I have seen. To be honest, my partner, due to her dementia can be a little difficult to look after but the staff at Woodchurch House are (and are continuing) to provide an unsurpassed level of care, thus relieving me of any doubts or worries. This, of course, makes my "new" life a lot easier. Outside of visits, I can contact the home at any time and even speak to my partner directly, so communication is not a problem. The staff on the ground floor are excellent as are the staff on the first floor where my partner is, I have no hesitation in recommending Woodchurch House Nursing Home.
