Jubilee Court is situated in a quiet residential area of Stevenage and provides a number of care options including residential care, specialist dementia care and short term respite care.

The interior of the home includes a number of beautifully designed open plan lounge-diners, each with its own kitchenette, helping to reflect a relaxing domestic environment and all complimented by a contemporary interior décor.

Jubilee Court features the Quantum Care Plaza which includes a hairdressers, a shop and a Best Friends Café, which is the perfect place to sit and relax with visiting family and friends, over tea, coffee and other refreshments.

Each of the bedrooms in the home is en-suite with a shower and is fully furnished. They also benefit from wi-fi connectivity, a nurse call system and a flat screen television.

The beautiful landscaped gardens include patios and occasional seating areas situated along a meandering walkway. There's also a small wooded area and raised platers. The garden is the perfect place to relax in during the warmer months.

Jubilee Court has a dedicated activity worker who ensures that there is a wide range of activities on offer each week so there is always something to get involved with.

Lovely staff, very professional and yet so friendly. The rooms are light airy and well-furnished. My sister is now a happy more confident person since she has lived here. I feel very comfortable when I visit and when I leave I know she is having the best of care.

The majority (greater) off the staff are brilliant, attentive, personable, professional and good-humoured. Communication of mum's needs is very good. Occasionally and especially when more temporary staff are required, there is an understandable lack of continuity and sometimes conflictingly so. I am
empathetic to staffing issues but not when it impacts my mum's welfare. Relayed in moderation and overall very happy with Jubilee Court and team.

Excellent quality of care. Staff genuinely care for patients needs and wishes as well as family input. Staff and management have been particularly helpful with medication distribution and very good at liaising with the hospital appointment as necessary. Easy transition from moving home into the care
facility. Prices are very high and I feel are unfair to the resident if they wanted to invest more in leisure. Overall, lovely home with warm welcome at desk.

My mum spent her final few months at Jubilee Court. In the short time she was a resident, Mum was well cared for by experienced members of staff who were clearly dedicated and hardworking. Mum often commented they “looked after me” and she seemed content and felt safe. The team were always friendly
and helpful and showed much compassion in her final days and to us, her family, they couldn’t do enough. I would highly recommend this care home.

I have been here for five weeks (six days of which were in hospital for a replacement hip operation) and have met with nothing but kindness, care, respect and a very cheerful atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the carers or any other member of staff and all are a credit to the company
they work for!

Due to living overseas this has been the first visit to see Mum in Jubilee Court. As soon as we walked in to see Mum we instantly could see how at home she was. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and all of the staff have been beyond kind and friendly. Visiting Mum over the last three weeks we have
not found one member of staff we didn't warm to. We can return to Australia knowing full well that our precious mum is with such wonderful, caring and kind hands. Great comfort has been bestowed on both Mum and ourselves. Knowing the amazing support is being given by such a professional caring team. A huge thank you to one and all.

Of course, there's room for improvement, always will be, but the state and smell of the carpets needs looking into. The first thing you see is the carpets, they are tired and smell. The staff are brilliant the layout is good, the care my father receives is good, the cleaners do a grand job but are fighting
a losing battle with the carpets, it's not a good impression when you walk onto the units. Staff 10, care 9, cleaners 9 food 9 but carpets 2.

The decision to move Mum into a care home followed the week after my dad had been taken into hospital (he sadly passed away the following week between Christmas and New Year). After a quick telephone call and a visit with the manager, I instantly knew that this is where Mum should be. Under the circumstances
Jubilee Court were amazing. They welcomed Mum and she settled in easily, my anxieties soon passed after such a stressful time. The staff are caring and always have time for a chat with me. They know Mum and her needs well now and I don't think I could have found a better place for her. Any worries I have regarding Mum are dealt with. The reception staff are helpful and always greet you with a smile and a friendly chat. The entertainment team are excellent and always try to encourage Mum to join in.

My mother has been a resident since July 2022 and she sadly died on the 13th March 2023. Throughout her stay she was treated with kindness and respect and enjoyed the interaction with the staff and the many biscuits and cakes offered. When her dementia got worse and her behaviour became challenging
at times, the managers and staff tried many different ways to manage this, always communicating with me. When she was poorly the staff were absolutely lovely; very kind and gentle, always trying to offer the food and drink she loved. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to friends and family.

When it came to the need to move Mum into a care home, I was very apprehensive having no prior experience of care homes.
Jubilee Court has been fantastic, my anxieties were soon gone. I don't think I could have found a better place for my mum. Fantastic caring staff, who always have time for a chat
and know Mum and her needs.

The staff are very professional. The reception staff always greet you with a smile. My dad is always washed and dressed and the staff on the unit make him feel cared for. They have helped Dad settle in very quickly which in turn has helped Mum and the family. Entertainment is excellent! Dad really enjoys
the singers.
Jubilee Court is very homely and is one big family.

Overall, I am confident that my relative receives supportive, safe care and the new manager has taken on board concerns raised and acted on them. My concerns have been around the lack of training and understanding of specific needs relating to dementia. Lack of consistency with approaches, knowing which
staff regularly work on that particular unit and that they know what the care plan says. Staff are always friendly and I always get a warm welcome when entering Jubilee Court Care Home.

I visited my 94-year-old mother - she has Alzheimer's. She now has to be hoisted from bed to chair - she looked very comfortable in the lounge with the other residents.
The "dream team" of carers on Holly are excellent - very friendly to me and excellent with Mum.

Mum has lived happily at Jubilee Court for four and a half years. Sadly her dementia has got worse, so she has moved from the Evergreen unit to the Magnolia unit; the move was seamless. The carers and management of Magnolia are so patient and kind to her. Sadly Mum can't walk anymore but is hoisted.
The wonderful carers make sure she enjoys being hoisted and changed by always making her smile. I would like to say thank you to everyone at Jubilee Court; they do a wonderful job.

Multi-tasking and communication skills are some of the most important of the Housekeeping Manager’s qualities as they and their team create a home where residents’ dignity is never compromised and independence is always encouraged.
