My mother has been a resident since July 2022 and she sadly died on the 13th March 2023. Throughout her stay she was treated with kindness and respect and enjoyed the interaction with the staff and the many biscuits and cakes offered. When her dementia got worse and her behaviour became challenging at times, the managers and staff tried many different ways to manage this, always communicating with me. When she was poorly the staff were absolutely lovely; very kind and gentle, always trying to offer the food and drink she loved. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to friends and family.

When it came to the need to move Mum into a care home, I was very apprehensive having no prior experience of care homes.

Jubilee Court has been fantastic, my anxieties were soon gone. I don't think I could have found a better place for my mum. Fantastic caring staff, who always have time for a chat and know Mum and her needs.

The staff are very professional. The reception staff always greet you with a smile. My dad is always washed and dressed and the staff on the unit make him feel cared for. They have helped Dad settle in very quickly which in turn has helped Mum and the family. Entertainment is excellent! Dad really enjoys the singers.

Jubilee Court is very homely and is one big family.

Overall, I am confident that my relative receives supportive, safe care and the new manager has taken on board concerns raised and acted on them. My concerns have been around the lack of training and understanding of specific needs relating to dementia. Lack of consistency with approaches, knowing which staff regularly work on that particular unit and that they know what the care plan says. Staff are always friendly and I always get a warm welcome when entering Jubilee Court Care Home.

Well, what can I say! As mum passed away recently after four-plus years at Jubilee Court. Caring, fun, considerate and overall a great bunch of people. The care and management, along with the management and communication skills, have been over the moon, making mum's final years very happy, as well as enjoyable. Well done to everyone.

I visited my 94-year-old mother - she has Alzheimer's. She now has to be hoisted from bed to chair - she looked very comfortable in the lounge with the other residents.

The "dream team" of carers on Holly are excellent - very friendly to me and excellent with Mum.

Mum has lived happily at Jubilee Court for four and a half years. Sadly her dementia has got worse, so she has moved from the Evergreen unit to the Magnolia unit; the move was seamless. The carers and management of Magnolia are so patient and kind to her. Sadly Mum can't walk anymore but is hoisted. The wonderful carers make sure she enjoys being hoisted and changed by always making her smile. I would like to say thank you to everyone at Jubilee Court; they do a wonderful job.

Jubilee Court has been a wonderful home from home for both my parents and father-in-law. The rooms are bright and cheerful, and the home-cooked food is outstanding. More importantly, the staff are outstanding in the care and kindness shown to the residents. My parents have been extremely happy to stay here. I have looked at several care homes, and this stands head and shoulders above its competitors. I wouldn’t want my parents to stay anywhere else.

My mum has been at Jubilee Court since November. We chose Jubilee Court because of all the activities that they do with the residents. Now we are out of lockdown; the home is back in full swing. Most days, Mum goes to an activity. The staff really do make a great effort to ensure the residents have fun. Activities range from gardening, quizzes, bingo, themed parties, and singing, to name but a few. The home itself is lovely and spacious, and the important thing is that my mum is happy there. I like the fact that the staff are all very friendly and always engage in conversation with the residents, making them feel valued as a person.

Jubilee Court was Mums home for two and half years until she sadly passed away. She was always happy and very well cared for; the staff from carers, reception, cleaners and kitchen were outstanding, always happy and approachable. The activities team are amazing and make day to day life exciting for the resident. Even during all the lockdown, they were kept well cared for and kept busy. We cannot thank them enough, and the compassion shown to us when Mum passed away was second to none. Well done, everyone.

My father has been a resident at Jubilee Court since February 2021. He is very happy and settled there. He arrived during the lockdown, but by liaising with the lovely staff, his room was set up with some of his furniture, his ornaments, pictures and photos, so immediately he felt confident and at home. Fantastic staff who are always happy to help.

Since my mother-in-law was first placed in Jubilee Court, she was wonderfully looked after with dignity, love and respect. When she was ready to pass in June, they took my father-in-law into her room (he was in Jubilee Court as well) to spend precious time with her, which was the best thing ever. My father-in-law loves all his carers. He is well and truly looked after. I've already told my son's if I ever need to go into care, I would only want to go into Jubilee Court.

My mum came to Jubilee Court two months ago. She has settled in very well. The help and advice I received from the management prior to Mum coming to Jubilee Court were so valuable. When my partner and I visited to view the home and room, I came away knowing that 100% Jubilee Court was right for Mum. My family and I are happy to know that Mum is in a wonderful home with wonderful people who do really care. She is safe, happy and no longer lonely. She has made friends with the residents and carers. I visit Mum 3-4n times a week, and when I see Mum through the dining room window and her smiling and waving once she notices me, it makes me so happy. Mum chats to everyone, and says "they are all lovely". She loves the food, and she has put on weight! The staff on Holly Walk are wonderful and do an absolutely amazing job. They are so friendly, very approachable, very caring and always take time to talk to you; I am always updated about Mum. Mum's room is lovely, and it has all her personal items in it. We couldn't be happier. Thank you, all.

My Great Nan has been in Jubilee Court for a short time now but I cannot fault the care. Absolutely beautiful and warm surroundings, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and really genuinely care for the residents. My Nan herself is so happy in herself, it’s amazing to see her with a smile on her face, she’s made friends and chats away to the staff with no hesitation. She’s said herself it’s wonderful.
I cannot stress enough the hard work and care that goes into this home, there are a range of activities that bring everyone together, the surroundings give a sense of calm which is essential for residents and new residents.

Thank you so much to all of the staff who do a brilliant job in taking care of my Great Nan and other residents too, you really put our minds at ease as family members that our loved ones are safe and well taken of, that is priceless.

The Home Manager runs all aspects of the home, taking care of the business side of things and ensuring the home provides a high standard of care. While each Manager brings their own flair to the role, they do all have some qualities in common, especially their leadership and organisational skills. The role is very varied, involving plenty of resident interaction alongside more administrative work to keep the home running smoothly. Our Managers typically hold, or are working towards, a relevant qualification and have proven experience in caring for older people.

Keeping the team of Housekeepers running as it should is the Housekeeping Manager. Supervising and organising their teams is just part of it, as these Managers work alongside them to keep the home clean and inviting. The comfort of residents is the most important thing to our Housekeeping Managers, which is why they work so hard to create an environment in which residents can’t help but feel at home. Multi-tasking and communication skills are some of the most important of the Housekeeping Manager’s qualities as they and their team create a home where residents’ dignity is never compromised, and independence is always encouraged. Our Housekeeping Managers ensure that all areas of our home are safe, clean, well-maintained and presented in a way to create a warm and homely environment.
