What a wonderful care home is Bucklesham Grange Care Home. Not only do they love and look after my husband, but they love and look after the family as well. I really don't know what to do without them all. They certainly make our lives worth living.

My mum moved into Bucklesham Grange Care Home in January and sadly passed away in May. Mum's care throughout this time was fantastic and they couldn't have done more for her. All of the staff were caring, considerate and always happy to talk about our concerns. I'd like to thank everybody from the bottom
of my heart and I cannot recommend Bucklesham Grange highly enough.

Wonderful residential home. Could not ask for anything better. The welcome given to my mother-in-law was out of this world and broke any barriers she had about living here. Wonderful and caring staff all around. Cannot recommend this care home highly enough.

This place is absolutely fabulous. The staff cannot do enough for my mum. She is from the war generation and has said many times that she would not go into a care home. She hasn't because this place is not like any care home I have experienced, it's more of a family-run hotel. Absolutely brilliant.
My mum looks so well and so happy. We are delighted.

We were looking for a safe and friendly new home for my mother. She has now been here at Bucklesham Grange for about a month and we have seen her settle in and feel safe and well looked after. A place can only ever be as good as the staff - the staff at Bucklesham Grange are outstanding - they care,
they make time for my mum and they really treat her like royalty. She is loved here and we could not ask for more. As well as that, the food and facilities are outstanding. I can only wish that I live in a place like this for my final days.

Wonderful, personal care and friendly, family feel. Medications and appointments dealt with very well. Residents all seem very happy and comfortable. A really warm welcome when you visit and always happy to help with any issues.

Totally outstanding - the large majority of staff go above and beyond their day job! I do not have the words to be able to convey how dedicated and lovely they are. Their relationships with my aunt were genuine and heartfelt, these individuals mattered so much to her, especially at a time in her life
when comfort/support become a necessity again. It was never just a carer relationship they had with her, they are unique and very special people. I will never be able to thank them enough.

Throughout the setting, there is a very high standard of care. Not just those giving care but from all the various areas of the home. Whilst these soft skills are clearly at a very high level, the other obvious element is professionalism.

Would not hesitate to recommend Bucklesham Grange to any new resident. Everything is done with thought and caring. I am really over the moon on my first visit to the home. Glad this was the home we chose as it meets all expectations. Well done Bucklesham Grange.

Very proactive in identifying and dealing with issues and worked hard at getting Mum settled. Nothing was too much bother. The carers got Mum involved in activities. We are really glad that we chose this care home.

They have done so well in trying circumstances. Well done. Mum has been very happy, in as much as she can be with advanced dementia. The staff are compassionate and well trained. There are noticeably less staff at weekends and when the only method of interaction, is facetime, it would be nice if staff
were familiar with Mum. Makes a lot of difference if they know her!

The team are regularly rota'd ensuring cover is at the same levels every day of the week. New team members have started recently and are getting to know Mum with her likes, dislikes and routines. Together with the support of the team who have been at Bucklesham Grange for a long time they are really getting to know mum well.
Mum is incredibly caring to all, often asks us how we are feeling on a daily basis and always greets us with a huge smile.

From the day she arrived, Mum was made welcome at Bucklesham Grange, and so were we. A lovely environment in the home with plenty of activities ensures that Mum is kept engaged. Lovely gardens can be enjoyed during the warm weather, and there is always a friendly and professional welcome - and a coffee!

Since my mum came to Bucklesham in August we have all been made to feel welcome. My mother is happy and all the staff are friendly and look after her very well. All my family are reassured when we can't get to see her that she is looked after well.

When our Dad's dementia took a sudden decline, we decided that some respite care would do us all good. The staff at Bucklesham Grange are lovely, extremely helpful in these strange and challenging Covid times. He was made to feel very welcome, and nothing we asked was too much trouble. Dad ended up
staying almost 2 months and we wouldn't hesitate to use Bucklesham Grange again. I would like to mention the Customer Relationship Manager, who is brilliant, very understanding and helpful, and was lovely with Dad when he needed a bit of extra support and a chat.

My father joined Bucklesham Grange just after the worst of times, in the early summer of last year, with a sudden worsening of his dementia. The adjustment for all of us, in the extreme situation of Covid and lockdowns and repeated isolations, was difficult, but he has now settled and is happy and
healthy. It has been quite a journey, but the new manager and the team he has built around him have always responded immediately and positively (not defensively) to any concerns I have had. I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, so a pretty demanding relative, and yet the team have been very willing to think about what might be impacting on Dad's behaviour in a very impressive way. We have resolved early difficulties (before the manager's arrival). I am now able to visit Dad in the care home whenever I want, thanks to a new visiting regime that has been bravely rolled out ahead of other care homes. I find all the staff approachable, kind, intelligent and creative. We feel lucky.

Having reached the very difficult decision that my husband would have to move to respite care for a few weeks to give me a much needed break, the staff at Bucklesham Grange could not have been more supportive and caring. They have made what is an extremely stressful stage in our lives easier than I
could have imagined. All the staff are friendly, helpful and so kind to both of us. This is not a situation that anyone ever imagines they will find themselves in but Bucklesham Grange are there supporting us every step of the way. You won’t find a better home for your loved one.
