My mother has been a resident since the end of January this year. I have found all of the staff to be so caring and extremely supportive through these frightening, challenging times. It always feels like they are part of the family and we are always treated with respect.

My dear mum had Christmas dinner in her lovely home Bucklesham Grange. My mum's smile is priceless. My two sisters and I were dreading today but the lovely people at the home were AMAZING, every single one of them. We had a lovely Christmas dinner and my mum actually ate nearly all of hers. It breaks
my heart to see my mum so poorly with this horrid illness (dementia), but we made lovely memories today and we got mum to smile. This would not have been possible without the wonderful staff at Bucklesham Grange and their support to us and to my mum. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff, from the lady that fills up the coffee machine to the nurses, they are all just so lovely. Thank you for everything.

My Grandmother was a resident here for about two and a half years. She had dementia and her possessions, clothes, furniture and surroundings were her memories. They supported me to make her room just as her home always was. The food was great and fresh and she immediately felt comfortable, her worries
went and mine therefore too. The staff became her family and the management was outstanding, always approachable and always happy to listen and help. When my Granny went into hospital staff visited her, even in their own hours. They supported me through really tough decisions. They helped me to get her home in order to spend her last few days in her lovely room and they made sure she was comfortable and comforted her when I couldn't be there. At least a dozen of the staff attended her funeral. They are truly incredible people and I will never forget them. I am so thankful that my Granny got to end her life in such a loving community, she really loved and adored them as they did her.

The staff cares for my relative with love, care, compassion and great dignity - members of staff very often going that extra mile, above and beyond the call of duty. I have noticed that the management team go beyond and above expectations to care for the residents as do some of the carers. They take time out of their busy schedules to spend with the residents. The manager and assistant manager will help with any duties, even gardening and supporting residents in
great depth when one was upset. Never cease to amaze me. The whole home has a very happy, clean, loving atmosphere.

Mum has been a resident of Bucklesham Grange for over 5 years and the care, attention to detail and passion everyone has shown mum has been consistent in all that time. Mum is treated with respect and her views and requests are listened to and dealt with in a caring way. She loves the social side and
the daily activities and often suggests different things to do as well. The hairdresser and beauty side is important for mum too and she likes to look her best at all times.

Mum has recently moved into Bucklesham Grange after living on her own for several years. It was quite traumatic leaving her home of over 50 years and we knew it may take her some time to settle into residential care.
The staff, led by the manager, are truly amazing. Everyone has a smile on their face
and greets us with a warm welcome. The residents have a wide range of daily activities they can choose from led by a bright and bubbly team, who encourage participation.
I am amazed at how quickly Mum has adapted and is enjoying her new style of life. After just over 3 weeks the transformation in her is a joy to see for us and she has already told us how happy she is there. A true credit to the staff who care for her. Nothing is too much trouble.
Mum was upset when she first moved in and a member of staff sat with her in the night. The food is a very high quality and Mum tells us she feels safe, loved and well cared for. We would definitely recommend Bucklesham Grange to anyone looking for care.

Accommodation excellent, staff are very kind and helpful.


I do wish the meals were more traditional eg meat and two veg, especially for people of my age - 90!

In the very short time which we have been involved with Bucklesham Grange, we have been so impressed by the welcome offered by all members of staff, by the positive responses to our many questions and the “yes, of course,” attitude which we have received to our varied requests.
We appreciate that it
is still very early days in terms of Mum coming to terms with living in a residential situation and really settling in. However, we can already see such a change in Mum and it so good to see her beginning to lose the stresses and pressures which came with living on her own at home.

Mum has been at Bucklesham Grange Care Home for almost 6 months and it has given me peace of mind and I know mum is getting excellent care. In the last few days, she has been moved from the dementia floor and is a lot happier and joining in more activities.

My father has been in the home for a week. I can say they have excellent care for their clients. The staff are friendly and happy, they will do anything you ask with no trouble. Entertainment is done every day to stimulate the clients' minds.

Bucklesham Grange staff have made the stressful move from home to care as smooth and trouble-free as possible. No question was too small to be answered and I was always aware that my mothers care, feelings and personal tastes were of paramount importance. Mum has struggled to settle but I know that
she is being cared for in the best possible way. A real family feel with friendly staff.

Bucklesham is an outstanding care home. It provided happiness, security and comfort to my mother in the last two years of her life. The dementia care and support received was unstinting, considered and loving.


The staff at Bucklesham were wonderful: kind, fun and professional. They supported the

family with dignity and patience, in a way that we will always remember.


Their care was exemplary.


This is a special care home, where the staff are valued and where a passion for making the most of life transfers itself to every aspect of the daily care provided.


My mum said to me once 'I feel so lucky to be here.'


I cannot recommend it highly enough as it presently staffed and run.

After 14 weeks of being bedridden at home, my mother moved to Bucklesham Grange Care Home and was up in a chair the same day which was lovely to see. She has been a resident for 6 weeks now and has gone from strength to strength and has required a zest for life. All the staff are caring, helpful and
have an extremely positive can do attitude. The home is welcoming and cheerful and I really look forward to my visits and seeing my mother so happy. The food is great too!

I have found Bucklesham Grange to be very welcoming. The first thing I noticed was the staff smiling and saying hello to us, not just those showing us round, but everyone.
My mum was very nervous when she arrived but the staff took the time to chat with her and made her feel at ease.
Her room is
beautiful, like a hotel, with access to a garden area in the summer, which will be fantastic for sitting out, enjoying the plants and the fresh air.
It is wonderful to hear mum say how happy she is.
