My father has resided at Waterside Grange for over three years. Throughout this time he has received exceptional care from the team of dedicated, professional and caring staff, adapting to his changing needs. The decor, facilities and food are of a very high standard. My father is living very comfortable here and, most importantly of all, he is happy! Thank you to the Waterside family for all that you do to make the lives of so many, so much better.

My wife was transferred from the hospital, near the end of life care. The staff were helpful, compassionate and focused. Good standards of care and hygiene. Agency nurses sometimes lack understanding or willingness to advise.

Waterside never smells when I visit. Although visiting is restricted the receptionist is a very big help, always a smiling face and is very helpful. Lovely to have a friendly face when you walk in - nothing is too much trouble.

I have not had any problem with the care Mum received but the two managers in the office need to have some compassion. My mum was on end of life and they seem to make it very difficult for us to make an appointment and see her. I know about Covid and fully understand the need to keep it from entering the home.

But I find their attitude all wrong for a care home. Mum passed away 13/08/2021.

Waterside Grange to date has been very efficient and more than helpful and kind during the whole process of Mum becoming a resident. Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions we are not able to see Mum as much or as easily as we would like but Waterside Grange have done as much as possible to make sure we keep connected. The staff are lovely and nothing seems too much trouble. It's early days yet but hopefully Mum will settle well and enjoy making new friends and becoming part of the Waterside Grange family.

My mum was transferred to Waterside Grange directly from hospital. It would never have been our family's choice for our family member to live anywhere other than her home. Waterside Grange have been so caring and compassionate towards Mum and our family. I don't think the sense of failure we feel will ever go away, but we all accept that Mum couldn't be in a better place. I can only offer our thanks and gratitude to the wonderful family at Waterside Grange.

My wife has been a resident at Waterside Grange for almost two years. The care and nursing she has received has been of the very highest standard. Every single member of staff carries out their services with great compassion. During the lockdown, the staff have been my wife’s extended family and they give excellent information and updates whenever I telephone them. Since visiting has been established again, it has been a great comfort to see how well my wife is looking, which demonstrates just how well she has been cared for. I am extremely grateful to the staff at Waterside Grange for their dedication and professionalism in looking after my wife. I would not hesitate in recommending the facility to any family looking to choose a care home.

I cannot recommend the staff on Fountains at Waterside Grange highly enough. My mother spent four and a half years on Fountains until she sadly passed away on January 25th. In all that time, Mum received the absolute best of care. This was always done in a professional manner and always with a smile. Nothing was ever too much trouble. It's always been of great comfort to me, that Mum was always treated this way.

I just had to write to thank, from the bottom of my heart, every single member of staff who has cared for my mum for over 7 years now. Her care has been second to none, all staff have been exceptional and I want to thank them all for caring so beautifully for all the residents in the absence of family visits. I acknowledge how difficult this must have been for the staff too. It has been excruciatingly difficult not being able to visit my mum for so long but, I have to thank the management of Waterside Grange for their speedy response in locking down Waterside even before the first national lockdown. Their quick thinking and care of our family members has been outstanding and lifesaving and no matter how difficult for residents and their families, I know my mum and others are receiving the very best care there is and the love shown to them on our behalf. Thank you so much. Merry Christmas.

Wow what an amazing place Waterside Grange is it's just like a hotel beautifully decorated and very Friendly and Amazing staff, they went above and beyond to look after my elderly dad as he went into respite for just 2 weeks in March but because of lockdown, it was safer for dad to stay which he did for 3 months and loved it. I was able to facetime dad every week and speak to him on the telephone. Everything dad wanted he got and more. The staff, management, and office team are fantastic I can't praise them enough. They kept dad safe and very well looked after they did loads of activities and keep them entertained. My mind was at rest over this long period because I know dad was being well looked after, when dad came home I sent a bag full of chocs in to say a massive Thank you, Dad made some amazing new friends too with lots of lovely residents. Waterside was recommended to me by a lady who's brother had stayed there. Now it's my turn to recommend Waterside Grange for being Amazing.

My dad has only been in Waterside Grange for two weeks. We have been very impressed so far with the information we received prior to admission and post-admission. The management, nurses, carers and cleaners have all been extremely helpful and professional at all times. We are impressed with the activities and general stimulation and conversation dad receives. Dad has settled in really well and the family have been made welcome. The staff and residents seem very happy and so are we.

What a lovely place Waterside is, nothing is too much trouble for all staff. Very friendly and caring people. Because of this it makes family comfortable knowing loved ones are being looked after, just as they want them to be. It's really nice that they have entertainment for the residents, it gives them something to look forward to. Great place to be. Well done Waterside.

Service has been excellent. Clean, good food, with an open door visiting policy. Carers do what it says on the tin. They care. Plenty of activities and self-esteem is boosted with regular hairdresser visits as well as medical ones.

My mum has been in Waterside Grange for five years and in that time, has been cared for very well. Everywhere is very clean and the staff always go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Waterside Grange has taken a lot of the trauma out of worrying for my mum and dad and also for the rest of my family. It is as near to mum still being at home as possible. The medical interventions and care are excellent and arranged very quickly.

Mum is very settled at Waterside Grange Care Home. The room she has is well equipped and spacious. The carers are absolutely lovely and are always available to discuss mum's care. Mum uses a wheelchair and the corridors are wide and modern which allows her to move herself around. There are a variety of activities (and more being planned) for the residents. The home is spotless and cleaners and even the kitchen staff interact with the residents. I have great peace of mind knowing she is in good hands.
