Just a very good experience in every way. My mum's mood, health and general wellbeing has improved unbelievably since coming here! Thanks so much.
I have taken this opportunity to express my feelings regarding the care home that is currently looking after my aunt. From my initial visit, I was impressed by the aesthetics, design, and layout, particularly of my aunt's room and the public areas that were available to her. She had previously struggled with mobility but I have noticed an improvement, not only in her ability to "get around" but in her willingness to do so. I have always worked in customer services and am acutely aware of "what it takes", I can say without hesitation that the staff, from medical, carer, cleaners, caterers to management and maintenance, are second to none. There is almost a feeling that the helpful, professional, friendly, and dignified manner in which they execute their work, is with genuine love and consideration. The food is the standard of a high-end hotel, my aunt loves "dining out" every day! Genuine well done Mugdock, I am forever grateful to you all and look forward to seeing you again soon
A warm and friendly welcome always received by staff at Mugdock House, caring and attentive staff during these difficult times. Lovely spacious garden area for visiting friends and family. Would certainly recommend Mugdock House Care Home.
These are strange times - but the staff at Mugdock maintained their kindness and compassion throughout. In his last few hours when we couldn't be there, the staff were there for him and we will always be grateful for their support, we couldn't have asked for more.
Thank you to you all.
One of the nicest care homes within the Bearsden and Milngavie area. Staff caring and attentive, many activities taking place daily, and residents encouraged to participate. Would highly recommend.
We were extremely pleased with the excellent care mum received during her short stay. The administration and communication were first class. All of the staff without exception were welcoming, friendly, caring and attentive. We were always met with a smile. It was such a relief to know that mum was well cared for and comfortable in her final days. Thank you to everyone.
Mugdock House Care Home has provided outstanding care for my Mum. From the day she arrived, the staff and accommodation has been fantastic. Each one of the staff is professional and provides a very high level of care. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
The staff are all friendly and attentive.
Food is good.
Use of first names is very good.
My mother appreciates the care she receives.
Unfortunately, mum passed away during the night last week with us by her bedside and we can only thank the staff for everything they did for both mum and us to ensure that we were kept informed with what was happening and afterwards.
We would certainly recommend Mugdock House and our only regret is that we were unable to have her in there from the beginning because there were no rooms available.
My sisters and I were delighted with the care, concern and practical love in adtion shown to our mum when she was here. Sadly she passed away after only a short time but all of the staff dealt with the whole difficult situation very professionally and gave us all the comfort, care and advice that we needed.
My aunt has been in the care home for a year and I cannot praise the staff and management enough. From walking through the front doors you are met with a pleasant atmosphere, I believe the staff to be genuine and kind, nothing is a bother to them, the rooms are clean and well laid out, the choice of food is excellent, which my aunt really enjoys. The facilities are of plenty, there is always something going on, the garden and seating area are superb. I am so glad my aunt is here, gives me peace of mind, she is being well cared for.
A nice place to visit - pleasant experience.
Staff and carers welcoming, kind and always helpful.
All the staff are very caring and happy to take the time to chat with the residents.
It's difficult to express how wonderful the staff are.
I have no hesitation in recommending Mugdock House.
My mother has been a resident for over two years. Previously, she had periods of respite in other facilities and was so miserable it was upsetting for me and the family. She settled into Mugdock House immiediately and calls it home! She is going to be 100 years old soon and I know that this milestone has been achieved only due to the loving care and attention she has had from all the staff. The home is beautifully furnished and the food is prepared to meet her needs. She enjoys the entertainment which is so thoughtfully considered for her. There is always a staff member in the lounge so that residents are never alone. Communication is excellent. Very happy mum.
They are cheerful and treat each resident as an individual.
There is a very calm and cheerful atmosphere in the home.
I have been visiting my friend for the past 2 years. It is a lovely, very clean, friendly place, the staff are lovely and my friend is very well looked after. I'm always welcomed when I visit my friend, I feel part of the home. It's a wonderful place.
She has now been there for eight weeks, so I am able to comment fully.
The combination of "top class" health care plus "top class" management has created a "top class" home.
The staff's care and attention for the residents is first class and they are to be commended.
In particular, the nurses kindly "no problem" attitude is very much appreciated.
I would recommend Mugdock House to any prospective resident. Thank you all the staff at the wonderful Mugdock House.
Overall very satisfied. Staff very caring and helpful.
