Groveland Park care home in Bexleyheath takes pride in offering residents luxury living and exceptional care. Opening in late 2013, Groveland Park has been given a carehome.co.uk Top 20 Award for London in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. The home provides residential, dementia, day and respite care in a wonderful setting, with the home surrounded by private gardens.

The home is tastefully decorated and boasts large bedrooms, complete with en-suite bathrooms, along with generously proportioned lounges. There’s plenty of space to take time out for yourself or join in with the fun at Groveland Park.
Staff encourage residents to take part in a variety of social activities, organised by the dedicated events coordinator, making film nights in the cinema room, jazz nights in the bistro and wine-tasting sessions in the dining room a regular occurrence.

The pricing policy at Groveland Park is all-inclusive, and a single weekly fee covers all care, all facilities and all events. This includes the bar bistro, fine dining and entertainment.

The care and kindness shown to our mum at Groveland Park, has truly exceeded our expectations. Every member of staff we have encountered has been compassionate, attentive and genuinely caring, giving our family enormous peace of mind especially as our part of the family live in Australia.
Mum has been
a resident for 6 months, has settled in beautifully and speaks so positively about the food, outings and friendships she has made. It has been especially heart-warming to know she has formed close friendships and feels such a strong sense of belonging.
We are also very grateful for the video call catch-ups that are organised for us. These moments are deeply treasured, and it is clear from our conversations that Mum is happy, supported
Groveland Park has been a real blessing for our family. The warmth, professionalism and genuine respect shown to residents is evident every day, and we feel incredibly grateful knowing Mum is in such safe and caring hands.

The staff show care to all the residents and understand each ones needs. Residents are well looked after by all staff, along with the residents family. The food is of excellent standard and is varied. Medical needs are well catered for along with the local surgery. The residents are well engaged with
trips out and events within the care home.

We celebrated my cousin's birthday today with an amazing 'fine dining' lunch in a private dining room with old friends/neighbours. The food was first class as was the service - a birthday to remember in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
My cousin cannot fault Groveland and because I'm the only close
relative living 5 hours' away I know she is safe and I don't need to worry about her care.

I booked the Fine Dining option to celebrate my Mum's birthday with her and my family. It was fantastic, the food, service and everything else was great. It was so lovely to have a meal with my Mum again, as we used to each Sunday before she went into Groveland Park.
My Mum is very happy, well cared
for, safe and secure at Groveland Park. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and I can visit my mum at any time without question.

Excellent all round care & attention to detail. Every member of staff I've encountered has been polite, friendly & helpful. Always a warm welcome upon arrival. The hairdresser is lovely & does a fantastic job, an easy task with my Nan! The caring & nursing staff are kind & caring, treat Nan with respect.
The bistro staff have gone out of their way to spend time with Nan & keep her body & mind going! Having eaten at Groveland Park the food & choices are excellent. Nan is not only well looked after but she truly feels at home at Groveland. Thank you all.

We visited the home for my Aunt's 100th birthday celebration.
We received a very warm, friendly welcome at your Reception desk. This continued in the party room. It was a lovely afternoon with delicious food worthy of a 5* hotel. On the way out we saw a happy group of residents being entertained
by a staff member.
We can see why Grovelands is rated 'Outstanding '.

My mother has been living at the home for 18 months and the family are delighted with the care and attention she receives. I attend one or twice a week at different times and my mother always looks clean and tidy, often with her hair washed and set by the resident hairdresser. In addition, the staff
paint her nails which is lovely.
Something I have noticed is that the continuity of the staff working in the home. Always friendly faces and ready to support.
The residents are taken out on outings and are offered lots of activates during the day. The food is also of a high standard. The bistro bar is a lovely space to sit and have a coffee or drink when visiting and family and friends can order food too.
The staff planned a lovely party for for mother's birthday and all the family attended. The catering and drinks were all provided and the staff on duty were amazing.

We are always made very welcome when we visit dad. The home is always immaculate. His room is always clean and tidy. The staff are all really friendly and very caring. We can't recommend the care home more.

Our first visit to Groveland Park, Bexleyheath. Travelled from Canada to visit our mum/mum in law, aged 102 years. we were so reassured and extremely impressed by the facilities. All of the staff were amazing and cannot comment too highly on the food which we shared with g. on a few occasions. Fine
dining for her birthday was top notch and our compliments to the chef/chefs.
From the moment we walked in were greeted warmly and appropriately. The staff are fantastic and we left her Sunday, October 19th, knowing she was in the best possible hands.
They are to be commended.

I have never been into a care home like this before! I was most impressed! The respect from the staff to the residents was admirable. Anne in the laundry was so patient with my friend, who was trying to find lost items. The Bistro was luxurious and Maur could not do enough to help! Caroline was so cheerful
and welcoming. Book me in!

My friend has been in Grovelands since mid May. It is like a 5* hotel, the accommodation, the food, the staff are first class. My friend was very apprehensive when she first came in. Now 3 months later she is happy, settled and loves the place.

Caroline Cheeseman began her career in the care industry 20 years ago in the NHS enjoying her role as a Care Assistant in A&E where she worked for 5 years. She then transferred to the private sector as a home manager where she has cared for residents with nursing, residential and dementia needs adopting a person-centred, holistic approach to support physical and mental wellbeing.


Caroline is very much a hands-on manager who prides herself in getting to know each resident and their family to ensure that the best level of high-quality care and support is provided to everyone, believing that our residents are at the heart of everything that we do.
