Groveland Park Care Home

We've had several fine dining sessions for Mum's birthday or family visiting from abroad. Every time has been excellent. Food, service and ambience have made each occasion a lovely memory. Staff throughout the home are friendly & welcoming and willing to spend time to have a brief chat or laugh. As family members we feel mom is in a safe and caring environment.

It would be nice if my uncle had a better view from his window, however we couldn't fault the interior of the home and lovely staff and facilities.

We had a fine dining experience for my Mum's birthday, and boy was it fine dining! Delicious food, adapted to my health needs and generous portions, cooked to perfection, and great service to boot! Also, a lovely selection of wines to choose from plus non-alcoholic ones too. They also decorated the room beautifully! Coffee - Delicious! Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou.

For our friend on her birthday the care home arranged a 3 course meal for her friends, in a separate dining room so she was hosting the meal, absolutely great, so much care shown by the care home for our friend, the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us all

This was a truly lovely experience for my mum, our family and friends. It felt as though she was being taken out and having a birthday meal with us all. Nothing was too much trouble and the service was excellent. There was a really good range of food for each course and her great grandchildren enjoyed it as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience of fine dining. It felt like my mother in law was hosting the event as it felt so homely. The food was excellent as was every detail of drinks. The staff could not have been more helpful or caring particularly our server. I cannot thank you enough for making her 93rd birthday so memorable.

Staff & facilities are superb, comfortable, safe, extremely clean. A very caring environment. Proactive & extremely caring staff. Excellent party for our friend in the function room - superb food & drink provided with impecable service. Nothing seems to be too much trouble, in looking after residents & providing them with stimulating activities as well as privacy when required. Our friend has her hair done regularly because she is encouraged to maintain her appearance & dignity.

On first impression when we arrived was that it was efficiently run and the staff were very pleasant. We were visiting my cousin's wife. She looked very well and smartly dressed. We were served with a drink, followed by a light lunch. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The care home is clean and tidy, and well run

The private dining room is wonderful and provides a lovely facility to celebrate with residents. The food and drinks provided were amazing, so were the staff. THANK-YOU.

My mum moved into Grovelands November 25. She settled after 6 weeks. The care and support mum gets is exceptional. Reception are always polite and helpful, always with a smile so many activities for mum to do!! The laundry lady is wonderful, always bringing her fresh clothes. Bistro is fantastic and treat mum and her relatives really well.

From the moment my mum came to Groveland Park, I breathed a sign of relief. My mum was finally safe and in a place where she was cared for and treated as a person. She is so happy here. The staff look after my mum as if she were there's. I was amazing at how much activities are in place throughout the day, even entertainers are 5*.

The bed was uncomfortable and we didn't understand what the issue was exactly. All of the family felt welcoming when visiting, all the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. She enjoyed the activities and outings and having the hairdresser onsite made the stay convenient. We were very grateful that her diet was well-managed and that she remained well throughout the duration of her stay. She felt quite unsure on her first day which is understandable as it can feel daunting. It may help when new residents arrive if they were given a tour and introduced to a few residents particularly those who are like minded. Overall, the experience was very positive.

My visit to your care home was a joy. I'd had a difficult journey but found you at last and was made so welcome by the friendly receptionists, then indeed by all the other staff members and carers. I was helped to find the friend I was visiting, then accompanied, with her, to the Bistro Cafe, where we were treated to delicious coffee. The decor everywhere was beautiful, the furniture comfortable and everything spotlessly clean. This was my first visit, but it wont be my last. Thank you: an impressive experience.

We had a meal for my mums birthday in the fine dining restaurant. The meal was outstanding, Martin _ Chrissie looked after us very well. Everyone at GP made a fuss of my mum and she had a lovely day. Thank you.

Groveland Park has been a real blessing for our family. The warmth, professionalism and genuine respect shown to residents is evident every day, and we feel incredibly grateful knowing Mum is in such safe and caring hands.

We pre booked the silver service restaurant for my mother in laws 84th birthday celebration on 31st January 2026. As always the menu was a good choices served and cooked well by member of staff. Thank you.

The staff show care to all the residents and understand each ones needs. Residents are well looked after by all staff, along with the residents family. The food is of excellent standard and is varied. Medical needs are well catered for along with the local surgery. The residents are well engaged with trips out and events within the care home.

My Mum is very happy, well cared for, safe and secure at Groveland Park. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and I can visit my mum at any time without question.
