Groveland Park Care Home

My mum moved to the home in June 2017 it had taken a while for her to settle but is now happy. She is well looked after. The home provides varied activities and stimulation of the residents. I have a great relationship with carers and seniors and feel happy knowing that mum has lovely people looking after her. She is safe which gives me piece of mind.

This is a very clean, well-run care home. The staff are extremely helpful, nothing is too much trouble.

My mum has been a resident of Groveland Park for two years until her death in April 2018. She was very unwell when she first went to Groveland Park but through their care, she became healthy and happy. Groveland Park became her home and we always knew she was safe and well-cared for. We also became part of the Groveland Park family and were always made welcome. A fantastic place.

Visited my friend's mother once a month, various days and times of day.

Staff are always polite and helpful to myself and residents. Friendly, homely atmosphere with plenty of activities always going on.

Food and drinks are delicious.

The environment is spotless.

Residents look well-kempt and content. Well done!

Visited Groveland Park for a 100 Birthday. Impressed with the efforts the home had gone to.

I've visited on a number of occasions and have always been impressed with the home.

My late mother made many friends during her stay at Groveland Park. Amongst them was a man who I visited today, as he celebrated his 100th birthday. The home is in an excellent condition, as it was when my mother lived there. It smells nice. The staff really care. The manager and her team work hard and are organised. My friend is evidently well looked after and enjoying life. Groveland Park is an extraordinary and outstanding care home.

I visited with a view to putting my mother as a resident in the home. Having visited other homes we were very impressed with Groveland Park and put Mum on the waiting list. We knew from visiting that Mm would be very happy and well cared for in your care. Sadly this was not to be as we lost Mum 18 months ago. On visiting our friend we still experience the same welcoming staff as you come in the front door, nothing is too much trouble. The care throughout from the manager and staff is wonderful. Having been to our friend's 100th birthday you did him proud - I shed a small tear on arrival as to what Mum had missed. Thank you.

As the Convenor of a church Lunch Club we currently have two Groveland Park care home residents as regular attendees for our Thursday lunches. We have also attended a number of the social events run for the residents.

Friendly, caring, very helpful. Couldn't fault it.

Mum came into Groveland Park Care Home and was not an easy lady to deal with. I must say what a lovely caring place to spend the rest of your days. Cannot fault anything with this care home - absolutely amazing.

The home is a lovely home. They make you feel very welcome and very homely. They always do their best for you.

The food is excellent. I often have lunch there and can not praise it enough.

My mum has been in this care home for just over 2 months and is very happy and settled, the carers are exceptional in their care, they work together as a team and provide everything my mum requires. They are very welcoming to the friends and family that visit, everyone involved at this home has the residents best interests at heart at all times. It is a very happy place.

I know after visiting many homes not only in the local area but further afield, you will be hard pushed to find somewhere as professional, caring, clean and safe as Groveland's. They are simply wonderful! :-) - Thank you!!!

My friend appears to be quite happy at Groveland Park. She particularly enjoys the bus rides out with occasional supervised shopping trips and also the bus rides around and about. Also the monthly musical concerts. Staff sit down with residents to encourage them in cognitive therapy. The layout of the dining and day room gives a homely and cosy feeling where residents can sit in armchairs that are around a coffee table and opposite each other which encourages more conversations.

Lovely, caring home. Mum is well looked after and it is a pleasure to visit. Very peaceful atmosphere. Very friendly caring staff.

My father is 91 and before Christmas broke his hip at home. I decided to pick Groveland Park as it provided care with dignity and lots of activities available to the residents and their families are always welcome. The staff are kind and thoughtful and treat dad with dignity. They are also very friendly with visiting relatives. The home is spotless and does not smell. Residents are not left alone if they are unwell and are encouraged to eat and drink. The food is also good and nutritious. This was the third home I visited and was my only choice as the others did not come up to scratch. The manager is very approachable and nothing is too much bother. She takes great pride in the home.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Groveland Park to anyone who is looking for a high quality care home.
