Visited my friend's mother once a month, various days and times of day.

Staff are always polite and helpful to myself and residents. Friendly, homely atmosphere with plenty of activities always going on.

Food and drinks are delicious.

The environment is spotless.

Residents look well-kempt and content. Well done!

My late mother made many friends during her stay at Groveland Park. Amongst them was a man who I visited today, as he celebrated his 100th birthday. The home is in an excellent condition, as it was when my mother lived there. It smells nice. The staff really care. The manager and her team work hard and are organised. My friend is evidently well looked after and enjoying life. Groveland Park is an extraordinary and outstanding care home.

I visited with a view to putting my mother as a resident in the home. Having visited other homes we were very impressed with Groveland Park and put Mum on the waiting list. We knew from visiting that Mm would be very happy and well cared for in your care. Sadly this was not to be as we lost Mum 18 months ago. On visiting our friend we still experience the same welcoming staff as you come in the front door, nothing is too much trouble. The care throughout from the manager and staff is wonderful. Having been to our friend's 100th birthday you did him proud - I shed a small tear on arrival as to what Mum had missed. Thank you.

My mum has been in Groveland Park Care Home for just over a month and I could not have found a better home. The staff are so friendly, caring & professional. The home is immaculate. Plenty of activities and outings and as a family, we feel so welcomed. CQC have under rated this home as it should be excellent not just good.

We truly fell on our feet when we discovered this home.

Our mum came here in June 2017. She is very head strong and very difficult. As a family, we are very happy with her care that she is receiving and couldn't imagine her going to any other home.

We would recommend this to any other family. Brilliant.

This home is very very friendly with the most helpful staff. My brother has been in there 2 years and it's like staying in a 5-star hotel.

The food is excellent. I often have lunch there and can not praise it enough.

My mum has been in this care home for just over 2 months and is very happy and settled, the carers are exceptional in their care, they work together as a team and provide everything my mum requires. They are very welcoming to the friends and family that visit, everyone involved at this home has the residents best interests at heart at all times. It is a very happy place.

I really can not praise Groveland's enough for their care. The love and care all the staff showed my Nan was simply outstanding, nothing is ever too much and they will always go out of their way not only for the residents but for their family also. I would not hesitate in recommending Groveland's to anyone.

I know after visiting many homes not only in the local area but further afield, you will be hard pushed to find somewhere as professional, caring, clean and safe as Groveland's. They are simply wonderful! :-) - Thank you!!!

My friend appears to be quite happy at Groveland Park. She particularly enjoys the bus rides out with occasional supervised shopping trips and also the bus rides around and about. Also the monthly musical concerts. Staff sit down with residents to encourage them in cognitive therapy. The layout of the dining and day room gives a homely and cosy feeling where residents can sit in armchairs that are around a coffee table and opposite each other which encourages more conversations.

My father is 91 and before Christmas broke his hip at home. I decided to pick Groveland Park as it provided care with dignity and lots of activities available to the residents and their families are always welcome. The staff are kind and thoughtful and treat dad with dignity. They are also very friendly with visiting relatives. The home is spotless and does not smell. Residents are not left alone if they are unwell and are encouraged to eat and drink. The food is also good and nutritious. This was the third home I visited and was my only choice as the others did not come up to scratch. The manager is very approachable and nothing is too much bother. She takes great pride in the home.

I have been highly impressed with every aspect of the care offered by Groveland Park - from the care and attention given when taking the difficult step of moving my mother from her own home to the ongoing care, patience, efficiency and high professionalism show in every aspect since.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Groveland Park to anyone who is looking for a high quality care home.

I visited my friend on Friday 16th of December. There was entertainment on the middle floor, all residents were singing and really enjoying themselves creating an excellent atmosphere. All staff were happy and very welcoming. After I stayed and had supper, the food was lovely and staff are very friendly. My whole experience was great, I left feeling very fulfilled. This was my first visit to the home and I can assure you I will make plenty more frequent ones.

I found Groveland Park very welcoming, it was bright, the decoration was plain but restful, the artwork great to look at. The staff were very smart and caring to the residents. I found their rooms of a spacious size. I didn't feel cramped, it was very peaceful - dining rooms and lounge were well furnished. People looked happy, I saw a gentleman engaged in his room doing a puzzle. All residents seemed content, my friend is very happy here.

My father went to Groveland Park in January 2016. The staff there 'think'. They are a proactive team that have the ability to anticipate things and react appropriately. They honour the dignity of their residents whilst providing care necessities without being intrusive.

Groveland Park encourages a communal spirit by providing activities that stimulate memory and to appeal to the era of the residents, hence giving them a life. They occupy their residents with daily occupations and daily interests providing quality of life for people in their later years, without emptiness.

They take care not only of their residents but of their relatives and friends too, making sure both are cared for in a friendly and welcoming way, but at the same time, giving them the option of privacy and independence.
Their facilities are exceptional with terraces to sit out on, bistros for a family chat, hairdressing salon, a cinema and a private dining room for family meals for special occasions.

They keep families well informed and allow them to still be part of the care plan for their loved ones. I give thanks that my father is so well taken care of.
