Very good experience. Gorgeous dining room. Delicious food!

Very good, clean and lovely staff.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review! Cleanliness and friendly service mean a lot to us, and we're happy you noticed.
We received a very warm, friendly welcome at your Reception desk. This continued in the party room. It was a lovely afternoon with delicious food worthy of a 5* hotel. On the way out we saw a happy group of residents being entertained by a staff member.
We can see why Grovelands is rated 'Outstanding '.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience of your Aunt's 100th birthday celebration. It's wonderful to hear that you received such a warm and friendly welcome from our Reception team and that the hospitality continued throughout your time in the party room. We're delighted that you enjoyed the...
Something I have noticed is that the continuity of the staff working in the home. Always friendly faces and ready to support.
The residents are taken out on outings and are offered lots of activates during the day. The food is also of a high standard. The bistro bar is a lovely space to sit and have a coffee or drink when visiting and family and friends can order food too.
The staff planned a lovely party for for mother's birthday and all the family attended. The catering and drinks were all provided and the staff on duty were amazing.
Thank you for your lovely review. Knowing that you are happy with the care your mother receives means so much to us. We are always made very welcome when we visit dad. The home is always immaculate. His room is always clean and tidy. The staff are all really friendly and very caring. We can't recommend the care home more.

From the moment we walked in were greeted warmly and appropriately. The staff are fantastic and we left her Sunday, October 19th, knowing she was in the best possible hands.
They are to be commended.
George and Mary.

Thank you for your review, I shall share this with the team. We appreciate that family members from all over the world, trust us to care for their loved ones, having the confirmation on your visit that the right choice of home was made all those years ago is a testament to our whole home approach...
I have never been into a care home like this before! I was most impressed! The respect from the staff to the residents was admirable. Anne in the laundry was so patient with my friend, who was trying to find lost items. The Bistro was luxurious and Maur could not do enough to help! Caroline was so cheerful and welcoming. Book me in!
Thank you for your review. For those who have not been into care homes before, it can be surprising. I feel that at Groveland Park we provide the perfect blend of an exceptional luxury environment and the respect and care of staff that makes us a perfect home of choice for many. I shall share your words with the individual team members mentioned and the whole team. See you again soon.

Very friendly atmosphere. Exceptionally clean. Good service. Lovely staff.
Thank you for sharing your views on our home, The staff work really hard to ensure that we provide the service that we want all our residents, families and visitors to enjoy in a friendly atmosphere. I will share this with our team.
My friend has been in Grovelands since mid May. It is like a 5* hotel, the accommodation, the food, the staff are first class. My friend was very apprehensive when she first came in. Now 3 months later she is happy, settled and loves the place.
Thank you for your review, we love to hear back from a friends/relative perspective about how those we look after are settling in. New residents can be apprehensive about " the unknown" but with a whole home approach we strive to overcome this quickly. I will share your review with the Team.
I have enjoyed my stay here & hope to return.
Thank you for your review, we have many respite residents who decide to remain as permanent resident in our home. Pleasure to have you here. I will share your review with the Team.

From the moment I walked through the door I felt Grovelands welcoming and friendly atmosphere. All the staff are extremely kind, helpful and efficient. They provide excellent personal care. The accommodation is comfortable and the residents have a wide selection of activities and events available to them.

This is my 3rd visit to see my friend I know he is comfortable and all of his needs are met admirably he is happy and is contented in himself and I have noticed he looked better in himself as he is now eating much better. The staff are so good and nothing seems too much for them which I find genuine. Thank you.
Thank you for the review of your visits to Groveland Park. Knowing that you find your friend comfortable, well fed and looking better in himself is praise indeed, I shall share this review with the Team. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
The only downside is that when my friend is in pain and asks for paracetamol, it is often a long time coming because the person who dispenses medicines is on another floor.
Thank you for your review and the comments that you made. I will speak to your friend regarding the pain relief and ensure him that there are other trained members of staff in the home that can assist with a request if one person is busy at that time, ensure that all staff are seeking assistance...
We were also treated to a magic show as the Carehome were holding an event that evening. The staff were extremely accommodating and we enjoyed drinks from the bistro and enjoyed celebrating Christmas.
My aunt is also a resident at the Carehome and we also were able to celebrate her birthday at the same. It was the first time the whole family had been together for over a year it was a very special, memorable evening.
Thank you for your review. Hospital stays can be very challenging, but knowing that we were able to assist your Mother in getting back to better health and back on her feet enabling her to go back home, meant a lot to us too. Seeing the whole family together was a joy for us and being able to...
Mum seemed more cheerful this morning, the ladies made us drinks in the bistro bar whilst we played games. The bistro bar has been refurbished to a high standard and having a coffee there feels like having a drink in a hotel lounge. One thing I would query is that dogs don't seem to be allowed in the bistro bar and I would consider this a retrograde step. My mum always liked dogs and it would be good for her to interact with our dog and other residents and family dogs. Overall we are very happy with the service. Fine dining is an excellent concept and we really enjoyed it just before Christmas.
Thank you for your review of our care home. I am pleased to hear that you are happy with our service and that your visits to our newly refurbished Bistro are enjoyed by you and your Mum. The fine dining experience is a wonderful way to spend time together as a family. We welcome all feedback for a...
Care and staff are excellent but not good at keeping family up to date despite frequent requests. Food and drink all lovely and plenty of it, home-cooked and tasty and good variety. In the last year, they stopped relatives eating with residents in the bistro and have to sit in the dining room and that's hard and not enough room for more than one person. Very unwilling to allow me to discuss with decision-makers at head office. Feel very uncomfortable and shut out and lost another part of Mum.
Thank you for your review of our care home. I am pleased that you find our staff to be excellent and that you enjoy the food and drink on offer. I am sorry that you find when eating the main meal of the day with your loved one in the dining room is hard, I will continue to review this. We welcome...
Excellent facility providing very good care. Can find nothing which I am unhappy about after 7 months of my father being in care here. Would recommend home to whoever asked.
Thank you for your review and recommendation of our care home and for sharing that you are happy with the care and facilities that we provide to your father. I will share this review with the team.
The redecoration is excellent.
Thank you for your review. I am pleased that your visits are very good. The refurbished areas are making a difference, creating a wonderful environment for our residents and families. We are continuing with our refurbishment programme which is due to be completed by the summer.

Caroline Cheeseman began her career in the care industry 20 years ago in the NHS enjoying her role as a Care Assistant in A&E where she worked for 5 years. She then transferred to the private sector as a home manager where she has cared for residents with nursing, residential and dementia needs adopting a person-centred, holistic approach to support physical and mental wellbeing.
Caroline is very much a hands-on manager who prides herself in getting to know each resident and their family to ensure that the best level of high-quality care and support is provided to everyone, believing that our residents are at the heart of everything that we do.
